The RB10 is a great buggy for beginners, especially for the price. From what I've been told the shocks do tend to leak quite a lot, but that's an easy fix. Great video as always!
Makes me nostalgic for my original racing days 30(!) years ago. That said, here in Canada they're over $400 which is a *lot* compared to a more capable HBX.
You say not to consider unless a person wants to get into racing, but I'd like to add another usage sub-genre of 'car park basher'. I have never had any interest in racing, but i very much enjoy blasting my RB10 around empty tarmac carparks. I use a 3S battery and spent a fiver on a 23 tooth pinion. This gives you a great little lightweight tarmac speed machine that is compact enough to tie onto a backpack.
For sure it’s epic as a car park basher what I meant really was if people are looking to do a huge amount of off road bashing then there are way better options as this is primarily intended for racing
@beyondRC ... yeah, fair enough. For anything other than very fine gravel or a firm beach, it's not for use off road. That could be a video idea for you mate... "Cheap Beach Bashers." Personally, I prefer the simplicity of a more 'carryable' and easier to clean 2WD car on firm British beaches. I use my RB10 occasionally, but moreso my HPI Jumpshot SC flux, and Associated Trophy Rat just as beach bashers. All the best dude 👍
Want to win a new RC Car? Both raffles are still undersold and just over 2 days to go! Check out my raffles here: raffall.com/beyondrc
My dad gave me his RC10 when I was a kid. It’s probably 25 years old now, still have it and it runs great

It is a good rc for sure. I havent done a video on mine in a while, may have to take it back out again now...
100% look forward to seeing that vid!
I’ve been wondering for years if this would make a good street basher.
100% just needs a bigger pinion for 2s running
Your videos are getting so much better! Nice piece of kit imo 👍😊
Thanks paul 👍
Love it dude
Looks good.!! 👍 👍
2wd RCs are a ton of fun.!!
They are!
6:57 grip is fine perfect has to be bit slipy
It's a shame those ESCs have zero settings...
Hi , what cel batteries did you use. With the 2s and 3s please . Thanks
great video
Proline make tyres for This buggy??
Seems to be perfect for what it's made for. And could probably be a good basher with some minor modifications 🙂
For sure ✔️
