I set mine up transferred into the wallet NP, but when I scanned my other account it read the bar code but came up with an alternate address. My coins went to this other address, when I look at their account they have people sending them coins every couple minutes. Looks like there is a default set up creating an a predetermined address. Any remedies or ideas?
So, let us explain it to Grandma/ Grandpa. 1) You rely on a third-party company to access your crypto. 2) You need to install it on an insecure device, Android/ iOS phone, and an app from a third party where you don't know what's happening in the black box. 3) Hacking the Ellipal app and manipulating the QR code will never happen. The app you download is always free of malware, right? Because we can trust Google and Apple so much. 4) You rely on cold storage with firmware from a third party where you don't know what's happening in the black box again. 5) What is Grandma/Grandpa doing when their Ellipal is broken or damaged and no Ellipal available? "Sorry, we are out of stock." "There is a chip shortage on the global market right now..." So, Grandma/Grandpa better buy 5 or 10 of them, just in case? 6) What if Ellipal leaves the business, which is highly possible in this uncertain time? People, this is the wrong way to secure your private key. You rely on many third-party programs and unknown people, increasing the chances that one component or step in the whole storage chain procedure can fail.
I think Granmas and Grandads are a lot smarter than they are given credit for. Why use grandparents as a means of simpleness. Not fair. They taught us Ship Loads of knowledge.
The coin balances don’t show anywhere on the Titan right? I have a SafePal and was considering changing over for the upgraded screen but for $170 I’m second guessing it.
I like to know a little about the (SIM card) and how it works also is there a charge for transferring coins from say PayPal /coin base! to the wallet on each transaction Thank's
Bro...the operating system on this is/was Android, and had WiFi disabled. USB could also be soldered back to the motherboard. I don't know if they fixed these issues or not, but you're not giving a good review if you're just parroting their false marketing. Do some serious research on the device first.
Is the Code Open Source ? Looking for a new cold wallet since Ledger Fucked up .
Not sure about that

So what is your advice for storage.
As long if you have the seed mnemonic, you can recover in any other hardware wallet or hot wallet or webwallet.
