Really great review. An honest one - that's the best one. Nice soothing music in the background. I really love Pikovaya Dama and Richwood. I can wear them everyday, all day. They are simply gorgeous. I own Naxos as well and enjoy it in cold weather. I also own 2 Casamoratis - 1888 and Regio. I rarely wear them, but when I'm in the mood for them, I enjoy them. 1888 is unique, and Regio is sort of a niche version of (the eternal) Dior Eau Sauvage imho. Haven't smelled Deified yet. Will do. Rose and wood is also what Richwood is made of ... which goes to a patchouli-sandalwood direction.
I admire your take on reviewing fragrances,, i have and love monkey special. Try sampling ivory route, a very nice amber base fragrance, blessings to you and yours.
Thanks so much! Ivory route always sounded really interesting to me, I never picked it up because I have a ton of very good amber fragrances and I’m a little scared of redundancy 🙂
Great review. Testing this on skin today. There’s something Middle Eastern about it, I can’t quite put my finger on it. Maybe it’s the saffron rose component. But it’s like ive smelt it before in the Middle East in the early 2000’s. And it’s surprisingly green to me in a waxy sort of way. Quite an intriguing scent. Definitely a LOT better than monkey special which I literally had to wash off for 15 mins. Has it survived the test of time in your collection or is it on the way out? I think I’d struggle to wear this enough to justify a full bottle.
@@theworkingkitchen7325 I like it a lot actually, to me it’s a leather rose/fruity fragrance, falls in the same type of category as Ombré Nomade. I don’t have it anymore but I still have a decant that I wear occasionally.
“Unused baby’s diaper” - now that’s a first! Can I just say congrats on 500 subs? Talk about getting along like a house on fire. Hope you’ll give renewed thought to a q&a soon, would be a great way to celebrate 👌
Thanks for being always there man! I do want to do the QnA, I just don’t know how to gather Qs. I would end up putting out a post somewhere and getting like 3 questions 😅 Any ideas?
Yes - community posts on RUclips are easily missed! Even mentioning it in a normal video isn’t foolproof. Why not make a short video announcing it and asking for questions? We can then write our questions in the comments. And I’m sure you’d get enough questions to make it worth your while - you are quite an interesting person, you know. And of course if you didn’t, you could publicly brand me a moron, which is the British equivalent of a drive by shooting 😉

@@aaronandelise I completely agree that Monkey Special is way more unique but I find this more wearable, expect for the power factor. Monkey special is a very strange, polarizing scent, very hard to ignore.
I like to wear frags on what I consider great which would be rich, unique, strong, exciting, attention grabbing, etc… There are to many great frags to wear something that is just good. I also love patchouli which is probably a big factor with Monkey Special. Good luck with the channel! 🎉
@@ericmackay1668 do you have Monkey Special? In any case, they smell nothing alike so absolutely no redundancy 👍 I also have a video for Monkey Special up if you want to compare.
Listen, xerjoff.. tony iommi defied is my least favorite. I love the opening of Defied, but when the fragrance settles, you smell sandlewood and musk. Defied won't give you an affluent, luxurious, or exclusive vibe typish scent; its qualities actually reminds me of the fragrance oils you get from the neighborhood flea market or warm musk frangence oil that Muslims men often wears.
@@luxe4744 a review of 40 Knots will come out soon, I feel the dry down is pretty similar to this. I don’t mind it but it’s far from ‘elegant’ and I totally get what you say.
@SeldomlyOften I've never smelled Xerjoff 40 Knots, but to me, Tom Ford Black Orchid is the most unique and rare scent. That's all I used to buy back in 2008 & 2009 when it was exclusive to certain stores. Now, it's everywhere and more common..

I really like Richwood, could wear it everyday also, as you said. I still need to try Pikovaya Dama, everyone seems thrilled with it!
Omfg Deified is absolutely gorgeous!!! The best scent I have ever smelled. Monkey Special is beautiful too, but this one stunning.
@@slavkobojic3004 it’s really potent and elegant, not super duper unique but it’s high quality and one of the best rose leather scents out there.
