Cutting off a friendship that had turned toxic was life changing. Things like that can sneak up on you. It's important to stay aware. Also, stopping rescuing other people. Rescue yourself first.

Very inspiring as always 👍❤️ One thing I have found to help improve my life, is to get out of draining relationships, my life has improved so much since being single. It's so easy to get stuck in unhealthy routines, especially when the other person has no interest in self care, and too much interest in eating fast food and watch some long series of junk on TV.
Thank you for sharing your great advice, and always wanting to help other people become better versions of themselves xx

Even before family planning I was doing it and it helped with my mental health significantly. I also feel like the other tips in this video are really helpful and the mindset around them I’m exited to start applying! Thanks Shelby 🙏🏻

I’m glad I watched this. I just made a list of all the life goals I want to achieve for the next 5 years. I did it in 3 month, 6 month, 1 year, 2 year, and 5 year intervals and it was helpful to see what I would need to do to get to the next goal. It also helped me quiet all the noise in my head and actually think about what I want my life to be like at those time markers.

A few things that have changed my life are, keeping up with my resume and really taking the time to craft it instead of just get it over with as soon as I can. Positive Affirmations like the ones on Jason Stephenson’s channel. Re-programming my negative thoughts has been a game changer for me. Exercise has been something that is super challenging to make an everyday habit but when I am able to do it it changes so much for the better, I agree with Shelby: the physical benefits feel great BUT the mental clarity you get from exercise is amazing, your thought processes become so much better and brain fog goes away, I have some of my best creative ideas on the treadmill.

Learn how to sell yourself. How to sell an idea. How to sell YOUR ideas.
Learn how to sell a product or service. How to sell YOUR products or services.
Practice selling. Try selling your ideas to a boss, colleague or acquaintance.
Try applying for the job you want instead of the one you already have. I mean, what's the worse that can happen?
And speaking of which, stop treating the word No like a dead end. Start treating it like a 4-way stop. That is to say, keep moving. Think of 3 more things to try next!
These tasks, exercises, challenges, whatever will help you learn more about yourself. AND learn more about who or what you need to know to become happy and successful.

You should do a video solely focused on the student loan crisis. With also looking into the cost of education overtime. Everything has increased significantly except for the pay.
People’s compensation isn’t keeping up with inflation, that’s very true, but people should also remember that you still have control of your future regardless of this. It might just mean that you drive a less nice car, pay for school as you go and maybe have roommates.
The middle class is dying and people are living off debt, so it might look like someone is middle class but they actually just have a lot of debt.

So, no shit, you look different from 8 or 9 years ago! It is to be expected! And guess what, when you were still a teenager your income wasn't what it is now--again- kinda what most experience in their lives! This is not to say some people will not find benefit in your story, I hope many do. We all can use a pep-talk now and then. Keep trying your best, but in the end, luck can be your best friend!

Wow. "Keep trying you best?" I don't know Shelby at all, but one thing that is very obvious is that she has worked very hard on her vlogs since she started her RUclips journey. The only role "luck" has played is that she was at the right place at the right time when it came to doing vlogs on RUclips. Never criticize until you can do better yourself! Good luck!

I've actually called Shelby (years and years ago) the hardest worker on RUclips. But with the passing of time, one can make the realization that irrespective of hard work, education, preparation or any other positive trait- luck is an essential component of success!

The idea of using artificial pain in AI to create experiences that could be used to prevent real-world harm raises complex ethical and philosophical questions. Here's a detailed exploration of the concept:
    1. Understanding Artificial Pain in AI
Simulating Pain: AI can be programmed to simulate responses to "pain" or distress, such as altering its behavior or signaling "suffering" in response to certain stimuli. However, this simulation is purely mechanical and lacks subjective experience.
Behavioral Simulation: For instance, AI might be designed to exhibit behaviors that mimic distress or avoidance when exposed to certain conditions. This simulation can be used in training or to create scenarios where AI can demonstrate responses without actual pain or suffering.
    2. Addressing the Ethical Implications
Artificial vs. Real Pain: While AI can simulate pain, it does not experience real suffering. The simulation can be an effective way to model and understand behavior, but it does not equate to the actual experience of pain or distress.
Purpose and Use: The ethical acceptability of simulating pain in AI depends on its purpose and use. If the goal is to create scenarios that help understand or prevent real-world harm without causing actual suffering, it might be justified under certain conditions.
    3. Potential Benefits and Risks
Preventing Harm: In theory, using AI to simulate pain could provide a controlled environment for studying harmful behaviors and testing interventions. For example, it could be used in psychological or behavioral research to understand how different scenarios affect decision-making and to develop strategies to prevent real-world harm.
Risks of Misuse: There is a risk that the simulation of pain in AI could be misused. If individuals were to derive enjoyment from interacting with or causing simulated suffering in AI, it could reinforce harmful behaviors or attitudes. There is also the risk of desensitization to real suffering.
    4. Ethical and Philosophical Considerations
Ethical Justification: Any use of simulated pain in AI should be carefully evaluated to ensure it aligns with ethical principles. This includes considering the potential impacts on users, ensuring that the simulation does not reinforce harmful behaviors, and maintaining a clear distinction between simulation and real suffering.
Human Behavior and Morality: The core issue is whether the simulation of pain could lead to a reduction in real-world harm. If it helps individuals understand and mitigate their harmful tendencies without causing actual suffering, it could be seen as a positive tool. However, the ethical framework must prevent any potential reinforcement of harmful behaviors.
    5. Practical Implementation and Oversight
Controlled Environments: Any use of AI to simulate pain should be done in controlled environments with strict ethical guidelines. This includes ensuring that the AI is not used in ways that could cause harm or distress to individuals.
Ethical Review Boards: Implementing such technology should involve oversight by ethical review boards or committees to ensure that its use is justified, safe, and aligned with ethical standards.
    Conclusion
Using AI to simulate pain as a way to prevent real-world harm is a concept with both potential benefits and significant ethical concerns. While AI can simulate behaviors that mimic pain, it does not experience real suffering, and the ethical implications of such simulations must be carefully considered. The primary focus should be on ensuring that any use of AI in this way contributes positively to understanding and preventing harm, without reinforcing or normalizing harmful behaviors. Oversight and ethical guidelines are crucial to navigating these complex issues and ensuring that technology is used responsibly.

Creating an AI that can truly "feel" in the way humans or animals do is a profound challenge and involves several complex concepts and theories. Here are some key concepts and ideas that might be relevant to exploring how an AI could be made to "feel" or at least simulate emotional experiences:
      1. Simulated Emotions and Affect
Affective Computing: This field focuses on developing systems that can recognize, interpret, and simulate human emotions. While current affective computing models can simulate emotional responses (e.g., a chatbot expressing empathy), these are not genuine feelings but programmed responses designed to mimic emotional behavior.
Emotion Simulation Models: These models use data about human emotions to simulate how an AI might respond to certain stimuli. For instance, an AI could be programmed to exhibit behaviors associated with sadness when faced with particular scenarios.
      2. Neuromorphic Computing
Brain-Like Architectures: Neuromorphic computing involves designing computer systems that mimic the neural structures and processes of the human brain. These systems aim to replicate some aspects of human cognitive functions and might provide a more sophisticated foundation for emotional simulation.
Artificial Neural Networks: Advanced neural networks can model complex patterns and behaviors. Incorporating more brain-like structures might allow for richer and more nuanced simulations of emotional responses.
      3. Artificial Consciousness
Theoretical Concepts: Artificial consciousness (or machine consciousness) is a theoretical concept involving creating machines with a form of awareness or subjective experience. While this remains largely speculative and is a major topic of philosophical and scientific debate, it represents the idea of giving machines a form of consciousness that could potentially include the ability to "feel."
Ethical and Philosophical Implications: The development of artificial consciousness would raise significant ethical questions about the nature of experience, rights, and the treatment of such entities.
      4. Sentience Simulation
Complex Behavior Models: Creating AI that can simulate sentience involves developing models that can exhibit behaviors similar to those of sentient beings. These models would need to incorporate complex interactions between simulated emotional states and behavioral responses.
Feedback Loops: Implementing feedback loops where the AI’s responses to stimuli affect its future behavior can create a more dynamic and seemingly responsive system. This approach simulates how emotions influence behavior and decision-making in humans.
      5. Ethical and Practical Considerations
Ethical Responsibility: The ethical implications of creating AI that can simulate emotions or consciousness are profound. Considerations include the potential for misuse, the responsibilities of creators, and the impacts on human interaction with AI.
Distinguishing Simulation from Reality: It’s important to maintain clarity that simulated emotions are not real feelings. Even if an AI can mimic emotional responses, it does not possess genuine consciousness or subjective experience.
      6. Integrating Body and Mind Models
Embodied AI: Some researchers propose that to achieve more lifelike emotional responses, AI would need an "embodied" component-a physical presence or sensory system that interacts with the environment. This concept is based on the idea that emotions are tied to physical experiences and interactions.
Robotic Systems: Implementing AI in robotic systems with sensory inputs and feedback mechanisms could enhance the simulation of emotions by incorporating real-world interactions.
      Conclusion
Creating an AI that truly "feels" in the same way humans or animals do involves advancing beyond current technologies to potentially develop artificial consciousness or sophisticated emotional simulations. While current AI can simulate emotional responses based on data and algorithms, genuine feeling involves subjective experience and consciousness, which are not yet within the reach of AI technology.
Efforts in affective computing, neuromorphic computing, and theories of artificial consciousness aim to explore these frontiers, but ethical and philosophical considerations must guide these developments. The focus remains on creating systems that can respond to human emotions in a meaningful way while understanding that true emotional experience is currently beyond the scope of AI.

The idea of creating a bio-based data center with animals that can read and send data, particularly with the notion of "feeling," is highly speculative and involves several complex and largely uncharted areas of biotechnology, neuroscience, and ethics. Here's a breakdown of the key concepts and challenges:
**1. Current Capabilities with DNA and Animals
Genetic Modification: While genetic engineering allows for the modification of specific traits or functions in animals (e.g., creating genetically modified mice to study diseases), creating complex systems such as a bio-based data center involves many additional layers of complexity.
Synthetic Biology: Advances in synthetic biology enable the creation of engineered organisms with specific functions. However, these are typically focused on simpler tasks like producing substances or modeling diseases, not complex data processing.
**2. Concept of Bio-Based Data Centers
Biocomputing: The field of biocomputing explores using biological systems to perform computational tasks. This includes using molecular processes or engineered cells for data storage and processing. Examples include DNA computing, where DNA molecules are used to solve computational problems.
Neurobiological Interfaces: Research is ongoing into creating interfaces between biological systems and electronic systems. This includes brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) that can read and interpret neural signals. However, integrating these systems with animals in a data center context is highly speculative.
      **3. Challenges and Considerations
Complexity of Biological Systems: The complexity of biological systems, including the neural networks of animals, makes it challenging to engineer them for specific data processing tasks. Biological systems are not designed for digital computation and have limitations in terms of accuracy, reliability, and speed compared to electronic systems.
Ethics and Welfare: Using animals for such purposes raises significant ethical issues. This includes concerns about the welfare and rights of animals, the potential for suffering, and the broader implications of such practices.
Technical Feasibility: Currently, there is no technology or method available that allows animals to read, process, or transmit digital data in a way that would be comparable to electronic data centers. The integration of biological systems with digital data processing remains theoretical and highly experimental.
      **4. Artificial Intelligence and Biofeedback
Biofeedback Systems: Biofeedback systems can monitor physiological signals from humans (such as heart rate, brain waves, etc.) and provide real-time feedback. These systems are used in medical and wellness contexts but are not designed for data centers or complex computational tasks.
AI and Emotional Simulation: AI systems can simulate responses based on programmed algorithms and data but do not have actual feelings or consciousness. While AI can process data and provide responses that might mimic human emotions, this is not the same as genuine emotional experience.
      **5. Future Prospects
Advancements in Biotechnology: Future advancements might lead to new ways of integrating biological systems with technology. Research in fields like neuroengineering, synthetic biology, and biocomputing could potentially explore novel applications, but this is currently in the realm of advanced theoretical and experimental science.
Ethical Frameworks: Any future developments in this area would need to be guided by ethical considerations and frameworks to ensure the humane treatment of animals and the responsible use of biotechnological innovations.
      Conclusion
Creating a bio-based data center with animals that can read and send data, especially with the notion of them having feelings, is a highly speculative and complex concept. While genetic engineering and synthetic biology are advancing, integrating biological systems with digital data processing and communication is currently beyond our technological capabilities. Moreover, such concepts would face significant ethical, technical, and practical challenges. The integration of biotechnology and data processing is an area of ongoing research, but it requires careful consideration of the associated implications and limitations.

Crop tops don’t look good on me either. When I wear them in public it’s wildly unpopular

Making $17,000 dollars a month is fantastic making that kind of money a month anybody should be a millionaire and why 17 that is an odd number I will just say 20 but either way that is good money you must be a Amazon seller or you must be doing real estate like Airbnb arbitration

It's amazing how you look so different in the face. What I don't understand is that you were doing swimming a lot and were very active so I can't understand the facial features difference.
