I have a "weird" niche business myself! My daughter and I weave unique, one of a kind custom babywraps. We ship them all over the world. There are just a small handful of people around the world who do what we do. I love watching videos about other people who have turned their passion into a niche business!
Consulting a certified financial advisor can offer tailored strategies to optimize financial results by reducing expenses and enhancing income, regardless of whether it's earned through employment or investments.
I started out with Eric Paul Elmer, great advisor. I got very lucky to have found him especially after my marriage crisis & consider him a good friend now.
I did learn from this my beloved Stanley was a "golden puffer". He was my most friendly water baby, he 'd let me pet him, he liked to be hand fed, he was such a darling.
This is such a great video. I’m such a fan of aquariums. I’ve had them in the past. It’s such a cool hobby if I was rich and had the money I would definitely have this dude doing an aquarium in my home, but this is like something you don’t need, it’s just something that you would want to have if you could
You can get into this for very cheap, get a used tank, an air stone and pump, and a heater, then add gravel, live plants, an led light and you're good to go. Just do your research first but you can easily get in for under 100 dollars.
Loved this video -he was so open about the start up and the aquariums are so beautiful-I have always wanted a “smaller” one. Sponsor sounds interesting too! Really enjoyed!
That was sooo cool! What a very interesting and informative video. Loved how you tied his career passion to steps that anyone could take to discover their dream job.
I Hit 110k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started last month 2024. Financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject. thanks to Brooke Miller for helping me achieve this
She is my family's personal broker and also a personal broker in many families I'm United States, she's a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in United states
Our home came with a built-in 900gal tank. While we do have it fully serviced and cleaned weekly, we do the feedings ourselves. It takes a whole 5 min to feed them, it's so silly to pay someone else to do that several times a week (minus when we're away).
i think a lot of these rich people have several homes or go away on business a lot. such a shame that these amazing aquariums are not fully appreciated on a daily basis.
Awesome video. Nick, Joe and Infinity Aquariums are the best around. Truly incredible installs. Loved seeing a few of them in person last year. Great guys as well!
It blows my mind seeing the immensity of these tanks, the cost to install and maintain them, and all the behind the scenes filtration systems that look just like the equipment I saw while volunteering at the Aquarium of the Pacific! I just can't help thinking about what a difference this kind of money could make cleaning up trash in the ocean and preserving dying reefs for instance. Also, as another alternative to purchasing a personal tank at this pricetag, sponsoring a tank at an actual aquarium facility could definitely help promote good causes such as endangered species conservation. Just had to put in my two cents for Mother Earth. Thank you for sharing, Shelby!
It would be interesting to see what happens if they installed something and then for whatever reason the owner could not pay or did not maintain. It is obviously a serious commitment. My assumption would be that most of this is paid upfront?
interesting video! My college roommate gave me a betta fish for christmas one year. It was just in a normal sized fish bowl but it was so much work!! it lived for about 3 years. I had to go away for grad school across the world and left it to someone to take care of. Unfortunately that person became ill and wasn't able to care for it properly. I loved that dang fish! I'd bet it's really peaceful to watch them swimming around. I wonder how many of their rich clients sit around and really look at their fish, esp if someone else is handling the feeding and cleaning? I can't help but feel bad for the fish being in captivity their whole lives...
Some new business owners say buying an existing business is better instead of building one from scratch. Some reasons are they already have customers, real estate, and equipment. I started a pressure washing business from scratch. It takes time to get customers to quit your 9 to 5 job.
Do you have any idea what it costs to service all of this custom equipment? If you are dissatisfied with service, how many other suppliers can you find? It sounds like a monopoly. You have to be ultra wealthy and have immense patience to own one of these aquariums.
Normally a silent viewer but I actually loooved this!!! Great video, Shelby. It reminded me a lot of “Dirty Jobs” - that could be a fun series idea for you :) maybe getting to try your hand at jobs that are unheard of
I love how you picked great topics for your new video Shelby, love ya ❤️ The other new alternative way to become millionaire this season is when you're a swing state resident and registered voter then sign the America pac petition to win $1M rewards from Elon directly 😂
Totally unrelated but deals with Aquariums. I live in a large employe accommodation building and they don't allow them. Here's why about 20 years there was a party in one of the rooms that the guy had them. Some dumb ass put is finger into the piranha tank and got it torn apart.
In my personal opinion aquariums in LA and other parts of the country have a huge niche, it is just about creativity up to the top. Clients are everywhere with business running waiting for an innovative idea like this. ❤😊

When times are hard for the majority of people, like a recession, luxury companies do very well. Rich people still buy stuff because, well, the recession doesn't affect them. Also, new people become rich off the poor during recessions, so it becomes even more lucrative for those luxury businesses.

Thanks to Mrs. Elizabeth Regina Nelsen's time in my life, which had a profound impact on me.
Sounds familiar. I have heard her name on several occasions and read about her success stories in wall street journal!
Who's Elizabeth Regina Nelsen!?looking forward to this opportunity Can I also sign up from Ontario Canada?
She is really a good investment advisor. I was privilege to attend some of her seminars. That's how I started my own crypto investment.
Nick is fantastic! He did such a great job with my tank!
This video idea was definitely from u

he's really genuine.

I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Brooke Miller, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.
She is my family's personal broker and also a personal broker in many families I'm United States, she's a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in United states
The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $5500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
she's mostly on Snapchats, using the user name

I used to have a nice 90 gallon saltwater tank. It was really cool but it was a lot of work. I was so glad when I sold it though. Never again. lol
Really interesting video, Shelby! 🐠🐟
The costs and sizes of the tanks 🤯 blow my mind. I need a unique business skill to learn and execute.

Interesting video. I wouldn't have guessed he'd be earning so much. And Shelby, you looked stunning in this video.
Nick looks like he went to a lot of Diddy parties
great video thanks
It’s all about finding a niche, then hard work. But just picking something random or something a lot of others do, will not succeed.
Are you using a Gimbo for camera movement?
That aquarium is amazing!
I'd love to have one but cost and maintenance always scares me off.
🐟🐠

very cool!
"kinda random one" yeah sweetie, that's why we follow you, and the cyan eyes
ew what
Way more interesting than I expected. 20-25 hours per month to maintain. 😳
Nice video for business
Im floored of how much all this costs to build and maintain. Couldnt believe how much equipment that backroom had to keep it going. Sheesh.
Shelby, your $40 free AirBNB credit link has expired in the description below your RUclips video. Do you mind please updating it? Thanks in advance!
BTW, I loved your aquarium video! It reminded me of Graham Stephan and how he saved to buy his 1st aquarium for his house.

Great video, but few people who watch this video would have the technical expertise to launch any kind of business like this.

The equipment to support this aquarium is 4X bigger than the tank.
Ok but what about an aquarium for little people?
If you own your own business you get to work half days.... you just have to decide what 12 hours of the day you want to work...
Racquet Club Resort needs to pursue the untapped clientele who want to cool the pool water.
Video idea: you collabing with people who work at game design companies
Would you buy one Shelby ? Your youtube friend Stephan Graham have one from this company?
In my personal opinion aquariums in LA and other parts of the country have a huge niche, it is just about creativity up to the top. Clients are everywhere with business running waiting for an innovative idea like this. ❤😊
You should do this at Aqualand in Chicago! The aquascape headquarters! 14:23
Those fish better be happy being pampered like this 😊Didn't expect that much equipment 😳
I think they have better lives, cleaner water and food than like 99% of humans!
Shelby, I like to visit Long Beach Aquarium one day to enjoy.
❤ you Shelby, but this channel is so random

Shelby, Thank you for sharing such a beautiful business. I loved the idea of how everyone can put together a business.

This video deserves a thumbs up 👍 for the insight and the chosen perspective!
Make sure it doesn’t go underwater

not in this struggling economy on the East Coast, the stuggle is real.

My side hustle is print on demand. And taking aerial photographs for real estate.
Very cool! I remember watching LA Fish Guy on YT years ago. Great channel, if a bit oldschool.
Happy to see some of my JP video make it in the cut 👌
Luck. With a mentor. Need watch back. But. Business is hard graft and some good luck. Nice niche break through. I run a business. It’s 60 hours stress per week.
when i win the lottery, there will be signs...
Very cool, respect the business, the owner, and the passion, but this is obscene for people to be spending this kind of money on a fish tank.
I have a friend that has a large aquarium in her bedroom. At night it looks romantic.
Seems fishy :)
How incredibly random, next video will be- ‘how to start a 1 million dollar pimp business.’
