- How Much Does It Cost Apple To Create An iPhone?
Have I just made a cheesy RUclips video telling you that you can make your own iPhone device for cheaper? Well, no.
You see, knowing the cost of manufacturing iPhones will help you understand not just the current iPhone prices, but also other key decisions being made like their subscription plans and new Apple devices.
Let's find out how. Развлечения
I came here after seeing a video of a dude saying it cost just $10 to make the iPhone 14 😂😂
Same 😂😂😂
so did i
Same here 😂😂
Hand shake 😂😂😂
Same
Great..💫💫
Somewhere around 215,000,000 iphones are sold a year it’s fine they earned they’re money
Why is this video as well as the others so good and well made yet has only a few comments and views...?! I was shocked thinking it was a RUclips bug or something
Well, know this. You're awesome and you got a subscriber of me!
I agree
Ask iphone company
Fr, I think they're being shadowbanned by Apple
Good video keep up 💙
Amazing
so good
thanks for this vid we have info now..
Ya.
The pricing that you guys heard are retail pricing. Apple having the sheer volume is paying way lesser than what he described.
For example, you say the chip alone costs 120. True, this is the price for a single chip. But they buy them in huge quantities and don"t pay 120/ piece. The same goes for all pieces in the phone.
Good idea
That is why
Wow
5:14 “China is not the source of cheap labor anymore”
I wish you would have provided an example of cheaper places to manufacture cause I’m curious. I believe that there are skilled engineers in China but I’m sure Apple is finding a balance between cheap-ish labor and the skilled engineers they require.
Vietnam
This video suggests that the iPhone production doesn't make much profit. Many RUclips channels also calculate the costs for the parts and working time of an iPhone in dollars. But when calculating the whole production costs in Yuan we get a different picture about the real costs of an iPhone. The Chinese Yuan has had a currency peg since 1994. This approach keeps the value of the Yuan low compared to other countries. The effect on trade is that Chinese exports are cheaper and, therefore, more attractive compared to those of other nations. This explains why Apple managers are all billionaires. So there must be a huge profit margin.
The only real business that doesn’t operate on a 100% mark up is food everyone else buys something for 5$ and sells for 10$ and that keeps going until the end user gets its normally two to three times the build price
I like
so how much the appple net profit per 1 iphone ?. you dont say in this video.
On average 200$
Thats if you want prodoce one unit.. if you want producr 1 thousand will cost 10$ each one
Pretty fair profit margin per iPhone to be fair.
To be fair it’s quite fair
To be fair apple pretty much doubles the actual cost of these phones… so apple isn’t hurting….And these phones are all gonna be tracked right back to this genius in short time, let alone be rendered useless.
0:27 "xaomi" 💀
labour is cost less than 1.5 dollars in harsh climate. the marketing and business relation should not be the one raising the phone prices is their own decision how they use their own money and it's not your fault😅
Yes, making an iPhone is really pretty cheap. But they’ve got stockholders in the company. They want a profit. They’ve invested money and they want a good return. That’s for a lot of the cost goes the shareholders. They wanna make money and they do make a lot of money.
Tim Cooks salary alone is around $3 million.
i heard it cost 5 dollars to produce in mass production.
Its less than $12 to actually make the entire iphone 14 max
Wow, iPhone.
It does not cost that much they are using the same old models try putting a solar panel on the back of the iPhone maybe it could help the battery.
The cost of producing 1unit of iphone is not thesame with the cost of producing 1000units.
Iphone has already market itself so u dont need any much marketing
Most of the components are the same with a slide difference which will also have an effect on the cost.
Do much research on it and come back with a more elaborate cost. Pls dont forget to include the net profit per unit.
I Think the real production cost for one piece Iphone is about 35 - 50 dollars
Yeah
10$
@@sacmah6986 Yeah, I saw a video somewhere that said $10.
I think you are taking production about a single iPhone they are producing mass it would be lesser than what he said
This looks like sponsored by Apple 😂
🤣
😀
At the of the day, it's a bargain!
You have forgotten about main important component is iOS. Actually they are selling iOS, so hardware is free. Brilliancy of Apple phone is iOS not hardware alone
Listen.... It won't cost more than $20
$10 only said gita wiryawan
That was for assembly not parts
No... thats all.. he compared to the price
This phone is so Overpriced
This phone prices is unreasonable in this video cost less than that. You should do more investigation before publishing the video so that truth will be out there don't make assumption Ike most of the people I see decide of your own self if you can't do it.
This seems biased
Over hyped, over priced crAPPLE.
😐
@@shaunthomas3077 he ain't wrong though
