I don't know if Laura ever called Shambo a viper, Medusa, a snake, an evil demon or a bitch. I do wish Laura had been a bit more compassionate during Shambo's emotional moment at the beach. Laura is right though about Shambo being socially awkward, self paranoid but Sham is so deadset on her views you can never change it. She does come off pretty spiteful at times.

I’m so glad Shambo made it further than Laura. What I’m not happy with is Laura has come back, Shambo hasn’t and Laura came back and got 6th place. Shambo did reject a spot on the second chance ballot but I hope to see her on the next ballot

Shambo's nice, but Laura is so right when she talks about how she is completely unaware, oblivious, delusional, and incapable of social interaction. I deal with people like that on a daily basis, and it is absolutely terrible. There comes a point where everyone's patience runs out, and you want to be nice because the other person isn't a _horrible_ person, but you can't just keep it going. Shambo is a great character, but similarly to people like Philip, Shamar, and Brandon Hantz, these are people you don't want to interact with in real life.

Jack Scoville Trust me, there’s a difference between socially awkward and socially irritating and ignorant. Sometimes people just have a hard time interacting with others, but some people are complete idiots.
Idk there's a big difference between Shambo and those three examples the way I see it. For one, she is far more likable than any of them combined. But most importantly, there's a big difference between socially awkward and unaware, and just plain doesn't give a shit about understanding positive social activity at all and chooses not to adapt to it. While Shambo belongs in the former, Phillip, Shamar, and Brandon all fall into the latter category without a doubt.

Eh that's kind of unfair. Shambo had that perception of them being the "pretty popular girls" before even getting to know them. It seems like she got hurt by girls like that in the past and projected that onto the girls on her tribe just because they were pretty and young. Shambo only experienced not fitting in on the island because she isolated herself from them.

I've seen more times than not firsthand pretty girls or attractive men seemingly always get the attention and if you're on that opposite side, typically it plays out like this. Think about it, how many pretty girls or attractive men do you see get picked on? Probably never.
@@jamesritch5245 I mean yeah I believe pretty privilege exists, but also they aren’t in high school anymore. I haven’t seen it play out like that since I was in school. Shambo’s problem was she already set herself up to feel left out because she had a bad perception of the girls. It doesn’t help that a personality like Shambos don’t typically mesh well with others. I think it’s less about looks and more that they just found shambo annoying

You can see the negatives from both sides but at the end of the day they're like oil and water. Whether they want to admit it or not, they took one look at each other and probably instantly didn't like each other due to a mix of looks/vibe and their own projections.
I don’t think the clip is here, but when the Galu guys conspired to elect Shambo the new tribe leader (after Russel’s medivac), Laura was internally screaming.

Say what you want: it might be true. Shanda might be out there and unstable, but give it to Russell; he knows how to use her instability to his advantage, while the others poke fun and patronize her. Russell has no more respect for her but still uses her to his advantage. This should be a psychological case study
Shambo and Russell both didn't like doing yoga on Survivor. They actually did get along. Shambo knew the type of game Russell was playing but Shambo respected it.

Not personally a fan of Russel but agree we need big characters. They only cast friendly likeable people now that I'm not sure we will ever get a great villain again.
