A little advice, I get that you don't want to show too much about your personal projects, and this depends in what stage the project is, but don't be afraid to discuss your project (character, world etc...). People that come across your videos can start familiarize themselves with your ideas and what you plan on doing. It's good for marketing and starting to grow an audience that likes does characters and ideas. Again this depends on what you are planning to do and in what stage things are, but I wouldn't let the fear of ideas being stolen get in the way of people knowing your project. Very interesting video and I wish your channel keeps growing.
Most definitely! In future videos I'm hoping to show how I'm making my pitch bible and I'll introduce the characters and parts of the story once I start getting a better handle on them. Thank you for the advice and the kind words! 🤠
Im so mad that your channel is not even at 100 subs yet! Get it together youtube!!😡 please keep up the informative videos of animation type stuff! I wanna watch your shows and characters someday!
The older bibles being in black and white as opposed to color probably has something to do with being pre-digital, so printing in full color would've been a pain, not to mention expensive.
I saw the owl house pitch bible and found out many of its ideas did not connect into one experience. It has so much exposition dumps about what the chacters WERE instead of what dynamic they offer in each episode. Honestly a lot of informations did not answer any of the important questions i had while reading the document. A bad omen was that in the episode ideas the emperor's coven is never present as an antagonist force so why even put them in there? Seriously, just because the show got picked it doesnt mean the pitch bible can be used as a good example
Oh word, I gotta go check it out! And yea that's pretty fair, every greenlit pitch bible may not the best example, but they are still definitely a good place to start if your making one and it's always good to look at many to see what they have in common as well! 😃
Dude is straight up Marxian in the way he talks about his 'bubba barons brigade', I love it. That's the kind of obsessive fascination we need if we are ever going to deconstruct these oppressive exploitative systems silently infecting every facet of our existence, unironically creating a second 'do we have freewill' discussion but on a practical level, i.e. the illusion of choice observation. The conversations around and about the agricultural industry is a perfect example of what I refer to as 'The Great Unravling', in that the revelation of one unethical exploitative practices and strategies only leads to another and another and so on. Therefore, making it a logistical nightmare to implement any degree of change let alone improvement to any one system without disrupting another. Processed food that comes in a package with an ingredients list is far cheaper to produce and has more arms of revenue generation and automation potential than whole organic food that requires more human hands in order to get that food to market. Then there's the pharmaceutical industry that benefits from the diabetes you will inevitably contract as a direct result of the food you have access to. I have to make myself end it here, because I've already reached the point of that great unraveling I mentioned, and the video ended like 5 minutes ago. plus I need to pee...
@@pizzadogma Why is this here, this was a comment for a completely different video... and it's on that video's comment thread too. I did watch this video at some point but WTH? it got three likes too! What is going on?
I'll definitely keep that in mind for next time, I think I was just focusing more on the structure more so than the content, but I'll consider those other factors as well!
You keep ragging on how long they are, but honestly if half those pages are full art, you have to consider that an exec just flip through them, say "neat" and go to the next page with text in less than a minute.
clicked on this video under the presumption that it was an actual analysis. this did not need to be 48 minutes. most of the runtime is just structureless waffling and any actual analysis is limited entirely to generously skimming details and structure and gesturing at the included drawings and saying "yeah so um yeah guys this is pretty cool". please at least have a script next time and please double check the things you are saying so every sentence doesn't end with some variation of "-or at least i think so? idk you guys" because it makes you look lazy, frankly.
Fair Point although the video wasn't supposed to be super structured, it was literally me in real time studying these pitch bibles and looking at the composition. But I get what you mean, sorry it wasn't what you were looking for!

Epic video ! Thanks a loot! I really want to be a showrunner in the future so maybe we'll meet at some point ;)
Thank you so much! And that's awesome to hear : D Keep the dream alive yo! lets see what the future holds! 🤠
