I burst out laughing when Coach predicted the storm would pass them, then it cuts to pouring rain, pretty much sums Coach up.

The way Erinn says "Dragon Slayed " during her voting confessional is so iconic. I'm not a huge fan of her but she's definitely underrated and such a great player I would love to see again. ❤❤❤
Yeah she actually deserve to come back.. She is underrated and she is really great in puzzles , brain related challenges ....

Erinn is such an underrated character this season!! She was behind Tyson’s ouster and because of her Jalapao took control all the votes at the merge 🙃
Such an underrated rivalry. Erinn took so many jabs and digs at Coach, lmao it was so hilarious. And on top of it Erinn is such an underrated player, and never gets credit for it. She is the only person who can I ever recall who outlasted all the way to the end, despite being on the outs of her tribe within the first week and her ability to subtly orchestrate Tyson and Taj's blindsides was hella impressive. She needs to return asap!

I think that if Stephen had won immunity, she would have actually made it to F2 and I think that - depending on her FTC performance - she could have won.

Some rivalries wouldn’t want to be on the show together. RC refused to be on Second Chance because Abi was there

Coach being dragged over and over again is one of the things that makes Tocantins a top season.
Coach is the greatest character Survivor ever got ahold of. Such unintentional hilarity.
Unintentional and intentional. And you don't understand when he is trolling and when he is completely straightforward. Because the line between real Coach and coach playing the character is so blurred and almost invisible. Coach is fantastic
If I could only pick one person for a second chance it would be Erinn

Coach is such a joke...I doubt he has spent an hour on the mat training in any sort of martial arts. I have done martial arts for 25 plus years and can see that he is so full of shit when it comes to that.

Tocantins is a very underrated season!
I think it's a fairly rated season that introduced 2 winners and 4 returnees in general representing it in 4 other seasons. However, JT's fuck-ups upon returning make me question this whole season sometimes.

The podcast Survivor Historians covers all the classic seasons in great detail, and the episode where they discuss Coach’s monologue about Erinn’s ‘evil look’ and being ‘SO. TRUE’ makes me howl with laughter despite hearing it multiple times. It is SO absurd, it’s perfection.

I LOVE Erinn! Was never a big fan of Coach. And a redeeming factor to his overconfidence was that she saw his delusion and stood up to it
Erin and Taj were my favorites at the final 5, because they were the only ones who didn't buy Coach's bullcrap. I can't possibly see how JT and Stephen could be so gullible.
JT and Stephen weren't being gullible, they were playing along with his BS. I can always tell that Stephen is trying his best not to laugh
Tyson vs. Sierra is another classic rilvarly from this season
Unfortunately doubt she'll ever be back now. She's like the sarcastic old-school Ciera. I honestly believe if she got to the final she would win because she has one of the best underdog stories in the shows history in terms of being almost gone first and making it to the end.

She's so underrated, both as a reality tv personality AND as a player! She maneuvered through the game cleverly, and getting to the end the way she did after being on the outs so early? Impressive, honestly! Not to mention getting JT and Fishbach to turn on Taj? Damn!

I loved how both Tyson and Coach were so threatened by Erinn from day one, and she ended up being the one taking both of them out. Tyson could have had an alliance with her, she liked him, she was probably attracted to him -- he seemed like he was maybe attracted to her too but hated it.

I so miss when Survivor was all about strategy and when the tribes don't swap after 3-4 immunities and there isn't 5 idols + secret advantages... it's gotten way too complicated. Seasons 1-20 are perfect!

I think some Survivor contestants try to make everyone around them miserable and insane as a “strategy.” Coach exemplifies this kind of gameplay. He’s insufferable.
He doesnt try to do it, though. That’s what makes him so funny.

I really don’t know if players like Coach, Phillip, Abi Maria, Randy, Matt, and Debbie don’t realize how they’re perceived or if they are consciously cultivate an image of themselves as so kooky and unthreatening that they should be taken to the end.
Elijah Culper good point. I do think Coach consciously cultivates a certain image of himself, but I dont think he’s aware of just how much it annoys others. Part of what makes him so interesting. He’s both self-aware and deluded.
I loved Tocantins Coach. Very sad to see his edit as a joke in HvW

Her style is similar to Michele Fitzgerald's.
Erin and Sierra were disliked by their tribes. But LOVED (for the most part) by the viewers...especially they would tell off players like Coach. I mean Erin's classic, "who is this jackass?" That was the moment you knew Erin was going to a rival to Coach....and she ends making make jabs at him every chance she got...even Coach impression of her is she had an 'evil smile' like he painted himself as the 'hero' to her 'villian' with his delusions.
This reminds me how much I hated Coach and his sanctimonious bullshit.
