I have a cousin who did this to an ex of hers, the father of her kid, and because of that I cannot bring myself to speak or have a relationship with her because I am embarrassed by her actions, it is so wrong , us women want to be protected against this type of victimization but we cannot fathom that sometimes men also get victimized. Amber’s attorney said he’s trying not to waste the jury or courts time & yet all day he talks about JD drug use, etc.. He’s not on trial for drug use if I’m correct
They’re trying to establish that his drug use was the cause of his “monstrous” behavior, and also trying to prove him a liar. They’re definitely reaching because that’s all they have. The questions is, is the jury wise enough to see it? I don’t have a lot of hope for that, unfortunately.

Well the whole point was that everyone thought the roles were reversed. And the media as well as Hollywood pretty much assumed him guilty. That’s why he’s taking her to court. His whole reputation and career was damaged because of her allegation. I hope justice is served.

My brother was in a marriage to a narcissist for six years. She preyed upon his weaknesses and broke his beautiful spirit finally suing him for alimony in the end. I see the same shell shock behavior in Depp. Almost like a soldiers stare who has seen many battles. Heard does not seem effected by it all. It does take two but Depp appears to be much more transparent with his emotions whether they are good or bad.

And society, especially the kinds of society that these people inhabit, says "believe all women". It's easy for this kind of thinking/culture to be weaponized, and it often is.

Monster was synonymous for mind and body altering substances, per Johnny. Monster was synonymous for Johnny himself, by and when Ms. Heard perceived he was using substances. Monster in how Johnny and Amber used the word, refers to two different things!

I really think she on calming drugs, she always looks like she is trying to stay awake.
We never really know what goes on behind closed doors. My ex is outgoing & extremely funny & charming.
Within days of being married another side of him started to emerge. If I missed his phone call bc I was cooking his dinner he would walk in the door red faced & yelling "Why couldn't I answer the f'ing phone?" He would go weeks without speaking or acknowledging my presence. I can't count the # of times I would come home from work, the grocery store etc he would have moved all of his things out & be gone. I would never know what was going on. I was accused of cheating, lying. When I didn't do either.
It was a nightmare. I'd never met anyone like this. Come to find out he had convinced everyone in his family that I was this horrible person who treated him terrible. When in fact I treated him very well.
We split up 8 yrs ago, it still affects my ability to trust anyone enough to get into a serious relationship. After 3 or 4 dates I start backing away.
I was with my ex wife for 20 years and married for 14, we had our problems, we argued but I never put a finger on my wife but she did hit me plenty times. So it comes to personality of a person.
