What gps you use? And what are your trucks governed at? Do they come with a refrigerator and microwave? Whats your average weekly miles ? Do they do guaranteed pay or miles?
Platform science GPS, governed at 65mph cruise, comes with refrigerator, need to buy your own microwave, I posted a video on pay and they do have guaranteed pay on certain accounts but not for OTR (which is what I do)
Each person does something different, but I would probably order doordash and watch some TV or play the PS5. But my trainer used to go to the gym. There are times you can drop the trailer, and sometimes you can't.
@@bigsmoothtruckin just 2 questions lol 1. When you take your 30 minute, do you take only 30 minutes or are you able to take an hour if need be? 2. On your typical week, do you drive 11 everyday or do you do 10 hours some days and what not?
@thetruuotaku1290 As far as the 30 minute break, it all depends on when the load is due. I've taken 2 hours before on that break lol. And kinda the same with the 11hr. So really most only drive about 10 because you gotta start looking for a place to stop at, but if you have plenty of time, you can stop even earlier than that if you don't mind missing a little money lol.
@@bigsmoothtruckin got ya. Okay last 2 questions. My bad homie lol 1. Can you make a video on what you do in your 34 hour reset? Can’t remember if you made one of those. 2. Do you hav internet in your truck?
Haha, I definitely gotchu. The next video I make will be paystubs. I haven't made a video in a couple of weeks, all the videos that came out, I made in a week and a half and scheduled them apart to have a video come once a week even if I get busy. The next videos, you'll see my hair is still in braids, and I took those out almost 2 weeks ago. I've been busy responding to messages on RUclips, Instagram, and dealing with a few family stuff as well as trucking. Actually, when I go live Wednesday, you'll see my hair is out, but the video that drops on Friday, my hair is braided lol. In due time, the pay video will definitely drop.🙏🏽
@@XZbit2022 I just want to be sure it’s worth a big career Change. I do HVAC now and my weekly check after all deductions is about $750 per week…. It’s not bad. I’m just burnt out in it… when I Drive trucks before that was my average bring home pay for the first year…. Pay has gone up in trucking substantively since I was out there.. that’s why I’m pondering getting back into it… but it’s a big change. Good news is only need a 9 day refresher that’s free through kllm If I’m Not mistaken… I just dont want to get out there and feel any regret… it’s got to be enough of a pay increase to make feel no regrets from burning my 8 year HVAC career.
@@bigsmoothtruckin thanks Man. I really appreciate it. I’m very close to pulling the trigger on the 9 day refresher course. I’m in Heatin n cooling presently and it’s the busiest time of year… dying from sweating in the sun all day fixing broken down Air conditioners all day and can’t catch up… it’s sucks ass but I do make about 25 an hour and get to be home everyday…. Which is why it’s hard to make my mind up…lol Hoping you can talk me into makin the jump through your vids. Thanks again.
@steveedelen3251 I would mention home time, but you've trucked before, so you know you won't be home every day. But I can tell you one thing for sure, brother. I've never had a paycheck under $850 after taxes and all other deductions(on a work week). Once I catch up and am able to make more videos, I'll definitely show more pay stub videos but honestly man, the pay is still really good and if you stay out long like I do, your home time will be paid for (as a company driver) But as you already know, if you want to make the most money, you have to put in those miles. I'm estimating another 3k mile week this week because I run my clock all the way down. However, last week, I think I made 1,800 miles because I sat for a while. And that was still over $750 a week. I feel like you'd for sure get paid more here than there, but I understand that that's a big decision, and I want you to make that on your own. I'm happy to be able to help in that decision, but I don't want to make that decision for you. I hope future videos are useful to you brother, good luck🙏🏽
This what I need gotta learn this so I can plan how I drive

What do you do during the 34 hour break? Do you get to drop the trailer and drive for food or entertainment?

@@bigsmoothtruckin that’s a good idea, also. So you guys never get to go for food or entertainment if you’re in a nice city?
@Firefireburn it all depends. Most of the time, you probably have to take an Uber but there are times you can take your truck
Thank you bro
Any time bro🙏🏽
Woooo been waiting on this video from you my boy
Haha, that makes me happy!🙏🏽If there's any other videos you're waiting on, let me know, and I can start working on it, bro.
