-- In this title, the dark influence of the Heartless isn't breaking down the walls between worlds, so in this period before Gummi Ships, why are Donald and Goofy able to travel to the Mysterious Tower?
Nomura: You can think of it as being thanks to Yen Sid, and also because the Mysterious Tower is a loophole world in the first place, so it comes under slightly different rules than the ones that connect the other worlds. By the way, when Donald and Goofy visit the Mysterious Tower in "KHII", they say "Isn't this tower strange!" even though they know it from "KH BbS". This is because the floors are constructed differently to the previous time they visited, which is strange (laughs). Dang I wish I'd seen this before making the video but I just read this on from the BBS Ultimania. My theory just got another layer!
I’ve actually long held a related theory, one I’ve called the Island Drift Theory. The main idea is that a few Worlds with Clocktowers, ancient relics/legacies and Islands were all once part of Scala. Namely Destiny Islands, Radiant Garden, Twilight Town, Mysterious Tower, Land of Departure, and the Keyblade Graveyard(due to canon statements, rather than fitting the theory). Traverse Town and Big Ben(neverland) are on the “maybe” list
YES! I love it. I was thinking that since all the worlds used to be connected rhat its possible each KH original world was apart of Scala once. They all seem to have a similar architecture.
@@UnlikeMike0 like aside from the Fairy Tale Worlds crafted out of the stories in the BoP and the dreams of the dandelions… the other Worlds should all be fragments of Daybreak Town
When you showed the background of the mysterious tower it really does almost have a replica design with scala. I also think there’s a hidden backstory with Ira and twilight’s towns haunted mansion there’s so much of a unicorn 🦄 theme in the mansion there’s no way it’s just by chance!!
Yeah I seen that. Maybe all the fortellers took there own piece of land they rebuilt them. Ava/Ephimer - Radiant Garden Ira - Twilight Town Luxu - Mysterious Tower Master of Masters - The World That Never Was
i love this actually, and like, there's more evidence to connect it. Like, twilight town's a trainride away, and in the mysterious mansion we have some straight up unicornis symbols and stuff right there. I absolutely think it's all connected
This is a fantastic theory I think I remember looking at the background with my sister and wondering what the heck those could be. Never thought to connect the little stars and moon and stuff. Another thought since you mentioned Twilight Town connected to Yen Sid's tower. Made me think of Data. Data Twilight Town, Data Daybreak Town, Data???? That scala ruin stuff is crazy. Also maybe Yen Sid IS Odin and Odin DID know Luxu was Bragi and they had deals being made in the background. Interesting stuff, thanks for this video.
Honestly would not be surprised if the Tower was built around the black box to protect it until it was time for Luxu to find it again. And Yen Sid has been guarding this secret. To me, this explains why he knows so much about the events happening around the KH universe. He may even have his own copy of the book of prophecies, and he uses that knowledge to help guide events into place.
It also kinda makes sense at the end of KH3 where Yen Sid tells Mickey that he needs to visit Scala ad Caelum and it might be possible to check if the surrounding land already is Scala which is a very cool idea to tie them together.
Exactly what I'm thinking 🤯 The time frame is very short between Luxu not having the box to then having it. It happened sometime durning the battle before he acuires No Name again. Yen Sids appearence is the only thing that changes and everyone all over are busy and distracted so no one would notice Luxu making a move.
New thought, it’s possible the black box was indeed somehow hidden in the mysterious tower, maybe even Yen Sid knew about it. I have a sneaky suspicion he’s working for or either Luxu or even the master of masters!! Yen Sid as everyone knows nowadays is SUS AF lol
sound logic but i rather think that the box was not hidden at all. Luxu send the box to the exact timestemp thats after the kh3 final where we see him and the lost master. I think this could be beacuse Malificent (while searching for the box troughout the game) says to carlo that the box dosent exist (i think she acctualy says now but i am not 100% sure on this). She could have figured this out trough her time travle visit in daybreak town, in unien coross. And sorry for my bad englisch.
Your English was perfect. I 100% agree it is very possible the Box did not exist in current time because of what Maleficent said. However I'm basing this theory on the idea that it could be a mistranslation which happens all the time in Kingdom Hearts games. Or she could be just wrong/misinformed since that also happens a lot in KH games. Example of this would be in KH1 we're told Sora is the only Keyblade wielder, then they show us that Mickey has one too at the end. Another example is we're told Nobody's can't have hearts on KH2 which was wrong. And even in KH3 they make it seem like Dark Riku from the past is a Xehanort when it was actually revealed to be Replica Riku. Characters tend to be wrong a lot in this series.
This is honestly an interesting theory, regardless of whether you end up being right or not. I think the biggest argument for it is these weird looking hills around The Mysterious Tower that do look like they could be the islands from Scala Ad Caelum overgrown by nature. The only counter argument I can think of right now is that barely a century (maybe even only half a century) wouldn't be enough for nature to take back these amounts of human made infrastructure, even if made out of stone. Although technically there could be some ways to explain this away, like "something happened when Scala went down and this made the city overgrown" a la Sleeping Beauty. If nothing else there is definitely a visual parallel here, which is imo really cool in itself. But the fact that Luxu seems to just suddenly have the box after everything happening in the Keyblade Graveyard is really sus. Yen Sid wouldn't even have to know about the box. And it's true that if the box is hidden or buried somewhere, it would be hilariously ironic and so like Nomura to have this somewhere be the grounds of the Mysterious Tower. A place we've known for so long and to this day, together with its owner, is mostly an easteregg for Fantasia. It would be very neat if the tower had more lore relevance. And if I remember correctly, it's stated somewhere (I think it was Eraqus himself who said it in BBS) that Yen Sid studied together with Eraqus and Xehanort when they were young. I might have remembered this wrong, but if I didn't, then this would potentially draw a connection between Yen Sid and Scala Ad Caelum. TL;DR: I think you might be on to something.
Biggest issue with the theory is that Mysterious Tower is a Disney World, and the Disney Worlds do not have any extension or connection with the overall story and lore.
So as far as I know there is no indication it is the Tower from Fantasia. Fantasia only shows the inside of the tower and I believe even in the Lorcana TCG the place is referred to as "The Sorcerers Tower". Kingdom Hearts 2 is the first the outside of this tower was shown if it is the same tower. I could be wrong though. I'll get back to you on this later.
Constructing kingdoms, episode 19 Fabiola kingdom crystalis by the violet howler 13:38 seconds in, this person too, ties daybreak town to final fantasy by the same symbol in the towers.
Doesn't the mural in kh1 hide the final gummi you need? iirc the mural goes away after you collect it. And the moon in Roxas' door is for sleepytime vibes, to me. Also, maleficent says the box won't exist until the keyblade war is happening. So the box being hidden in the tower doesn't really fit either. I agree with pretty much everything else in this though
8:44 Well... before going to Hallow Bastion (2nd Visit) Cid sends you here to get the new Navigation gummi to be able to go back to Hallow Bastion (Radiant Garden). Before you collect it however, it is a sun (star) instead of a moon. Oh I guess you kinda mention it later with stars being symbolism of travel xD 10:16 Doesn't Luxu at this time have the ability to open dark corridors or am I misremembering? 13:11 Also the Mysterious Tower would be vulnerable as Yen Sid would've been at the Keyblade Graveyard, and who is one of the first of the boss rush battles shortly after Yen Sid shows up? Xigbar! The timing! 13:38 I want to say it's the lighting of the scene which appears to be sunset/rise (daybreak or twilight?) 14:03 Ahha! Well played!
Yes the timing is way too perfect. Also yes I do believe Luxu and all the foretellers can use some sort of Dark Corridor but I think maybe there is some sort of constrants to using them because if that was the case why not just save everyone with a Corridor. Could be all that there is in the universe is Day Break Town. Since we know when you visit these Disney worlds we're drawing them in from the future(I could be remebering this wrong). So basically Day Break could be all there is to the universe and when everything starts breaking down is basically the Big Bang. Idk just another idea.
UHMMMM INVI? HELLO? LIGHTING HAS NO SAY WHEN IRA IS RIGHT THERE????? HIS COAT IS NEARLY THE SAME AS INVI AND IT IS FINE BUT HERE INVI IS ALL PINK WHAAAT? I am losing my mind at this part
