Yen Sid Theory || Mysterious Tower = Day Break Town
@39:34 wouldn't the door lose power a soon as the red light appears so I don't think it would be possible for him to use the doors still
Maybe, but I think he could power it on his own since he's negative emotion
Ava's chess piece does not look turned around in the frame that shows Eraqus's hand. It's hard to tell because of the blurring effect, but what you think is the back of the head is actually the fox's forehead and its snout is pointing downwards a little. Now about pieces turning around, right after Eraqus puts down all of the pieces and the camera turns to Xehanort where he says "Seven black pieces. And?", if you look closely you can see that all of the black pieces have suddenly flipped around. I might have commented on one of your videos about it before, but I think it's a cool detail. I don't believe this was an animation mistake and actually has some meaning. That scene came out before Dark Road and before we knew about a possible 14th vessel. I think this was supposed to hint that Xehanort would continue to have a role in the future and be an opposing force to MoM. Whatever they end up doing with the 14th vessel, I think they'll be on Sora's side by the end.
I also always took the devil and angel wing piece to be Luxu and the center goat piece to be MoM. Especially since it's in the middle of the stain glass with all of the other Foreteller symbols. Never knew about that interview question and now I'm rethinking everything. Like maybe the piece I think is Luxu is still Luxu, and the goat is actually Xehanort? It definitely is the same goat that's on the No Name keyblade, so it really could be Xehanort or Luxu or MoM. If it's Xehanort and you go off of the detail that all the pieces turn around, that could mean that Xehanort works with the Foretellers to also oppose MoM, with the player sitting where Young Xehanort is representing MoM.
I'm really glad you brought up San Fransokyo Riku and I think you're onto something. One theory I saw a long time ago that I really liked is that SF Riku is not the same one as Riku Replica that we fight in the Keyblade Graveyard. SF Riku's personality is so different than the Organization Repliku's that it'd be surprising if they were the same. Also with how even Riku questions if who he's fighting is a time traveled version of when Ansem possessed, it feels like a hint that SF is a different Riku. Since Dark Road really emphasized that darkness can be born in people's hearts like with what happens to Baldr, I could see them making it where the 13 true Darknesses can manifest themselves in others. If this Riku is the Darkness that helps Maleficent, maybe they were the original Darkness that was inside Riku, not Ansem. Not sure how the time traveling would actually work, but if your theory is right, I don't think that SF Riku can be Repliku and has to be a time travelled version that contains the Darkness.
Just to chime in, the name Vanitas also refers to baroque paintings about the transience of life. Basically contemplating our deaths to value our lives, and the paintings always incorporate skulls, which is why I think Vanitas’ mask looks like a skull, and his “will” is unwavering; he’s a part of life you can’t coerce or negotiate with. Btw watched the whole video, excellent work. I love a deep dive into theories and the lore of this amazing series
I knew about the Vanitas paintings however I did not know the deep meaning, thank you for sharing! That's very interesting
Glad I let you cook. Easy follow!
Thank you!
Also on the topic of Vanitas and his identity. You're absolutely right that he's important but at the same time, it's not a mystery. Vanitas is one of the pure Darknesses that the Master of Masters wants to give form in order to destroy once and for all. Ventus became a vessel for the darkness when it possessed him to kill Strelitzia but it wasn't removed from him until Xehanort extracted all the darkness from Ven's heart, including the Pure Darkness hiding within which he then named Vanitas. He's just a Pure Darkness given a physical form that's not a vessel if that makes sense. For the whole Namine thing, her appearance is explained. She resembles Kairi, the only difference is their hair colour. She has Kairi's blue eyes, the white dress she wears underneath her main pink outfit and while her hair's obviously a different colour, she has Kairi's hairstyle. I'd assume the reason she has the platinum blonde hair instead of red is because of Ventus, the same way Roxas looks like him rather than Sora. She gets the blonde hair to establish more physical, untold storytelling to connect her and Roxas. Roxas ended up with Ven's face and blonde hair so Namine looks like Kairi but with a hint of Ven through the hair colour.
Regarding your theory on the True Dandelion, it's definitely interesting but the game already all but explicitly told us who it is and it's definitely not Sora. Ven's whole arc in the Union Cross time period revolves entirely around the fact that he's the traitor. He's a false Dandelion not originally intended for the group who only ended up amongst them because the Darkness entity who would eventually become Vanitas forced him to murder. Whose murder allowed Ven to gain a place amongst the ranks of the Dandelions? Strelitzia. If the whole point is that Ven is a false Dandelion, it only makes sense that Strelitzia, the member he replaced, be the true Dandelion. She dies, isn't seen again or even referenced outside of a scene or two of Lauriam going "Have you seen my sister?" and then suddenly at the very climax of the story an unknown body named as a Dandelion is brought up out of nowhere and transported out of Daybreak Town to safety but we're not allowed to see who it is. It's Strelitzia. My theory would be that the scene of Luxu talking to Darkness and placing Strelitzia in the transport pod is the explanation as to how she ends up in Unreality. She's clearly not dead because she's alive in KH4 so something happened off screen to keep her alive or resurrect her. Perhaps her seemingly dead or comatose state during the scene where Luxu sends her away confuses reality, instead sending her to Unreality. Either way, it's all but explicitly stated by her name that Strelitzia is the true Dandelion.
The only theorist that FEEDS HOT PLATES
@@malikhallsmith 😂😂😂
35:21 This whole door theory segment hearts my soul because how dumb it is. Why do so many fans think the doors went to every other world? They're just locations you can find on Earth. Matte rof fact most worlds are just copies of Earth. My brain and soul get ignited with rage when I see this theory so often. (Not you personally. You have a good attitude about it)
I think it's cause the Monsters Inc movie it seems like Monstopalis is a different world than earth right? The doors work like worm holes slipping into another dimension. I think Neil Degrasse Tyson described the doors similar to that too.
@@UnlikeMike0You're not necessarily wrong. To me you seem to be using the information slightly differently or a little confused. I'll briefly go over this topic by introducing other worlds. So notice a common plot in a fair amount of Disney movies is "The Other World" so for instance Wonderland and Neverland. They exist in parallel to other worlds but are completely separate. Monsters Inc uses that concept yet again. This happens quite a few times and in Toy Story they really emphasize this concept by literally splitting the world. Two halves that were once whole or separate entities capable of blending. (Little tipsy so I'm trying my best) So while yes the Worlds the show through the door is in fact another it's not necessarily "These specific worlds". The basis of a good theory that the author intended is if there's a message or meaning to the theory. Like for example despite me not agreeing with the theory "Riku is Gay" it shows a deeper theme and message which is why it's so popular. If you don't receive a theme or message then it's not a legitimate theory or at the very least an important theory. I hope that makes sense.
What even constitutes as 'Earth' in the Kingdom Hearts series?
in regards to the hundred acre woods in kh3 perhaps sora’s connection with pooh is weaker bc sora is getting older
😢
There's much more evidence to suggest Sora's Dad knows more about Keyblades and Keyholes than his Mom. All because of Rikus mentioning about Sora's Dad in Birth by Sleep. "My friends dad rows us out to the island" which has many implications. Which also means when Aqua and Terra came to visit Riku and Sora that his Dad was close by. That has so much more theory potential but unfortunately the fanbase legitimately forgot about Sora's Dad.
I have to put that in my watch again list, I don't remember a meantion of a dad at all 😆 mind blown
17:44 You seemed to not understand your own implications with this "Not Sora's Mom" theory. Luxu explicitly states how he has to take other people's bodies to make the journey. The Heart in Sora is essentially stealing a little boys body. If what you're saying did happen then that means Sora stole a kids body. But because of the KH1 Sora scene with him sacrificing himself and coming back to a human we know for a fact he doesn't "need" a body. So idk how you even got to this idea honestly.
I think you may be confused or perhaps I did not explain well. Luxu is not time traveling, he's stealing peoples body. I'm saying if Sora is the True Dandelion then he specifically time traveled. Sora wouldn't need to steal a body to reform. The rules of time travel is you just need someone with memories of you (which I suggest Luxu, Ven or Darkness as my main suspects of having the memory). The second thing you need is a medium which I am suggesting is the white cloak. Hope that clarifies!
My personal theory is that this isn't the same "Winnie the Pooh" my evidence? The drastic artstyle change and the new character Lumpy being there. Lumpy is a very important character to the fans of Winnie the Pooh but only because he's in the movie canon/show canon. Not the actual Book Canon. Lumpy never existed in any of the original Winnie the Pooh books. So having Lumpy be on the book has way more to offer for theory support. Even though it's a "Book" all stories in KH are based on the Movies of Winnie the Pooh. Not the original book text.
Oh dope I never knew they were following the movie plots. I like this theory!
Alantica in KH2 also has no Heartless. But as to why? It's much more unclear.
Mmm good call out
@@tylercafe1260 i always thought it was bc king triton seemed to have some sort of knowledge of other worlds. i think in kh1 the main reason atlantica was plagued by heartless was bc the trident was stolen. when he gets it back he’s able to protect his world from the darkness with it
@@JayseyRae Mmm makes sense
15:38 the power of waking? Birth by sleep. Kingdom hearts? Where all hearts are born, even sora’s? Meteor showers? The kh1 intro? And lastly the false station of awakening? Young Xehanort said that the power of waking was for “traversing hearts to reach worlds“ Ansem the wise told aqua about how so many people were waiting for their “birth by sleep” Ergo… suppose brand new Sora’s heart was using the power of waking to be born by sleep, , When he saw Ven’s heart’s light slipping away? And do you suppose that in the kh1 intro, seeing the meteor shower triggered dormant memories of Sora’s unconscious traversing of realms? Maybe… the worlds that were falling .. clued Mickey in on their plea for help? Hence him being the voice Sora was hearing in the tutorial, abd his request to Donald and Hoify to track him down? 🤔 Ah nvm… I lost my point, sorry.
@@DemiTrusdale3 Oh shit good point I didn't consider using the Power of Waking would be a way for a heart to connect without a body. Good point! I like it!
I think it is 'Case of [Insert apprentice here]" because they are Mysteries of Heart and until the end Union Cross, you don't know what they are actually here for.... (to contain the Ancient Darkness). Also, I think the Master of Masters actually has case files on the Foretellers.
Names do have power! i mean the X in the orgs names have that sigil so like if you have their name you have power over them, so when they become somebodies again they lose the X and all(side personal theory Wreck it Ralph and Tron's world are connected)
now you got me yapping lol but also i do love the theory on the box being a suitcase, my thoughts on it are its Data Daybreak town after all we still have a few lifeboats left there (unless Missing Link)
@@TheNinjaofShadows 😆 damn Wreck it Ralph connected with Tron makes so much sense! Almost makes me wonder if we will see a character like Player go between both worlds to make a return. I think we have exactly 1 lifeboat left in Data Day Break Town and honestly that's the mystery I'm most excited to see solved. Ooooo wait I just thought of this right now. Maybe Player will use it to go from Data Daybreak to Tron or Wreck It Ralph...
@@UnlikeMike0 also funny enough about names if you take daybreak town and mix it around you get "A dark boy went" i bit reading too much into it but i mean Vanitas....
I believe the Symbol of the Seventh Piece is the Mark of the Writer of the Book, Occult Metaphorically. It is a Perfect Balance of the Demon Wing and the Angel Wing. However, there is a conversation as the beginning of Back Cover where the Master of masters says this. 'Come on! You six plus me is seven! Wait, don't tell me I don't count!' And Something similar happens in Re mind when Sora and Chirithy count how many people they Saved and forgot Riku. Riku wields the Soul Eater and Way to Dawn, which is The Bat Wing/ Demon Wing until he becomes Immune to Darkness. And Riku implied to a God of the Sun/Light incarnate as a Human like the Master might be. Also, The Page right after the Lost Page the Master gives Guia has the Kingdom Key on it. The Key in Riku's light that goes in Sora. Two become One. the Child of Destiny. In other Words, Riku became immune to Darkness and is the Example the Master will use to make the Apprentices immune, too. I think the Master is a Mirror of Riku. His Ancestor, perhaps. So, Riku is the Piece, but The Master is the Player and therefore, doesn't count.
@@Fragmentsinfractals488 Damn thats so freakin good! I have to rewatch that Remind scene you mentioned, I don't remember the conversation. Also LOVE the Riku/MoM comparison.
@@UnlikeMike0 You may also want to consider Joshua. He's ... kind of omniscient. Like the Master. And makes Portals from Dreams. Kind of like Riku does with Nameless Star's heart. And Joshua directly states Riku is 'like him' in that respect. A Dream Walker. An interesting Quote by Joshua. "The world is as many things as people need it to be. The concept that we all live in the same world- that's just in our Heads. Surely you knew?" If every person is a World, well.... would this World not be made of Imagination, Memory? Also, the Concept that by Looking (Seeing with your EYES) you can make existence exist, and reassemble people. (Ahem the Master is Watching Ahem) Riku is a Dream Eater. He eats Dreams and makes them Whole. And finally, a big one. Joshua says the reason he knew Sora and Riku's Names before being told is because he "dreamed them up". He used his Dream Pieces to manifest Traverse Town, and then used his kind of omniscience to dream Real People into Roles. Sounds familiar..... Yozora Astral "Non-Existence to Existence." And really, what the Master of Masters seems to do. It also is literally, 'I imagined you here, so you are", which Sora unconsciously does to Riku. Riku senses "things that happen to Sora' like a reflex. Sora and Riku have Two Separate Infinite Worlds, but they also have the Same Infinite World.
What do you think about the MoM beeing ansam the wise .. i think there are so many clues that would make it possible oh and also master odin
@@antoniagabriel2293 wait, wut? That's so intresting I've never heard that before! How so? Now that I'm thinking about it, MoMs speech to Young Xehanort might fit into that line of thinking. Maybe I'm an artist; Demyx. Or a brilliant scholar; Odin or Ansem the Wise. Also both Ansem and Mom are scientist and writers. I guess the if I think about it too his Alias would be fitting too with MoM's goal too. DiZ; Darkness in Zero. Honestly I love this. I often say Odin is probably the wackest character and Ansem the Wise has sort of been a disappointing character this whole time so this would give each of those characters much needed elevation. I wanted so much more from Ansem the Wise.
if you put the KH videos into a decent video editing software like kdenlive or maybe something you pay for, you could use the arrow keys to move one frame at a time instead of trying to pause at just the right moment
This is making me think I need to redo my 100 Acre Wood episode of my fan edit. I need to binge your videos and rethink everything lmao
10:30 I randomly thought about this and had to come back to this video. In that one secret movie with the Wayfinder trio in their armor, Terra picks up the Kingdom Key, Aqua picks up the Kingdom Key D, and Ventus picks up The Road to Dawn. This used to always feel strange to me because it felt like those choices were random, but hear me out. Those three wielders have all fought versions of the Wayfinders, but also they were the keys to Terra and Aqua returning (Sora inheriting Terra’s blessing etc etc, Mickey knowing where Aqua was)… except for Ventus. Now this could just be a coincidence but what if it’s not for Ventus? What if it’s trying to tell us that Riku inherited Vanitas’s darkness? (And I just thought of this now) What if that’s why Replica Riku was so much more emotional and desperate? Sure it could just be darkness but what if it was a secret glimpse into Vanitas’s true feelings? After all what are “negative” emotions really? Sadness? Fear? I guess only time will tell.
@@kingleonidas2182 I think I understand what you're saying and I like it. Especially love connecting Vanitas to the Way to Dawn thats actually making the gears in my head spin on something... Only questions I have is what do you mean Sora had Terra's blessing? Also are you saying that the connections could be Ven has Way to Dawn, Riku fought Roxas. Terra has Kingdom Key, Sora fought both Terranorts Heartless and Nobody. Aqua has Kingdom Key D, she is connected to Mickey and she was trapped in the Realm of Darkness where Kingdom Key D is from.
@ Oh I mean that the Kingdom Key was intended for Riku in KH1. That’s why it matched his color scheme like how all the Wayfinders main/upgraded keyblades match theirs. And yeah kinda, but instead of Roxas I was thinking more about how Riku had to fight Ventus’s armor when it tried to protect Sora in the end of Dream Drop Distance. Also Aqua helped Mickey find the Kingdom Key D in the first place, and she even wields the upgraded version in 3.
i like the idea of sora being a foster kid. we can nix the idea of his mom having any relevance to the plot here if she's a foster mother. it's not uncommon for foster kids to just up and run away. or alternatively, we'd need to understand more about the isles of destiny to really come to any conclusions. who's to say that it's not just a common occurrence that people will appear or disappear from the destiny islands when the location is titled "destiny"? i suppose we'll maybe learn more about how the location works in the future. i sure hope so at least
What if Destiny Island is similar to neverland? It's a land for the lost souls of the youth with a singular individual that's slightly older than the rest. All the characters there are very young, sora's "mom" is the equivalent of Peter Pan and is everyones "mom", and there is an "adult" type of antagonist that what's to destroy the island. It's a reach but it's also kingdom hearts 😂
I like where you're going with the 100 Acre theory. I'm working on my own theory that may help your case with it. Would love to chat with you about it sometime. If you like it enough, I think you'd be the perfect person to deliver it.

23:40 I'm sorry but Sora being the true Dandelion makes absolutely no sense, it's impossible for Sora to be a grown teenager in the past AND for anyone to know him from that time period. 1. Sora was born as a baby on Destiny Islands in the present, how would he be from the past? Even if it's a Sora that goes back in time, it would make no sense for Ventus not to realize who he is, now that he has his memories back (since you mentioned he and the others may know him). 2. Xehanort doesn't know who Sora is, and call him "nothing special". He has the memories of the player character. If the story of Union Cross happened with Sora somewhere in the background, and he has a connection with people we know from that time period, then Xehanort would know who he is. Same with Luxu. 3. Narratively, just wouldn't make sense to make Sora the true Dandelion.
@@sonic4life damn sorry I should have clearified that better. So my thought proccess was, the true Dandelion was a newborn baby or toddler age. Then when he appears at Destany Island he would still be the same age as when he time traveled. No one would recognize older Sora because he was a baby in that time. Also no one really has to have a deep meaning memory of him either. They would just need to recognize the white cloak to associate they remember a child wrapped in a white cloak. Similar to Maleficents return. Thats why I think Darkness specifically was or will be the one with memories too bring back the Dandelion. Idk if this clarification helps.
You forgot the Master of Masters and his Eye. The Master has seen Sora directly. From the distant past. And if he wrote about him in the Book of Prophecies, a Data copy of him can be created. At any age. Also, it is implied the Book is passed down through the Ages. There is no issue.
@@UnlikeMike0 okay, I get your train of thought now. The only problem is that we see new born Sora heal Ventus's heart in the games. The true dandelion had to at least be the age of young Sora, so it still doesn't make much sense to me.
@@Fragmentsinfractals488 I didn't forget that, I don't think it matters much. Why would he bring a data Sora to the past and send it to the future? Or are you saying that current Sora is data? Someone being a "true" anything tells me that they're a bonafide human being, not data, maybe I'm missing something from your analysis?
@@sonic4life Remember all the Worlds in Data the Dandelions go through in Union Cross get placed in the Dandelions Hearts and become the Real Versions the Master saw in the Future. They are projections of the Future that then become them in the Future. In other Words, The Master uses Data Worlds to make the Worlds that exist as "Real Light Worlds" in the Future using the Book. It would be a Retrocausal Time Loop. The Master causes the things he saw in the Future, including Sora and Riku. Effect becomes Cause becomes Effect. A Singularity.
What a great day. Love your theories, thanks for keeping the KH theory community alive!
@@dylony6396 No thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
The Master of Masters gives the Foretellers the Name of the Seven Sins to narratively line them up to be taken by The Ancient Darkness with the same Names. It is the concept that Names have Power, and though Hyper sigil Power and playing the Role the Name belongs to, you fall into The Master's Destiny.
Isn't there only six Foretellers, though? I mean technically because there are only SIX teams in Union Cross and Luxu was NOT named a Foreteller. Plus his name means Light, not one of the Sins. Good theory, but the facts do not line up as well as the idea seems when matched with the lore.
@@nickynegron3515 Luxu''s name is the Latin Word for L*st. The Sin. Specifically, a shortening of Luxuria.
@@nickynegron3515 Also, The Master directly says he wants to put the Seven Strongest Darkness in the Seven.
@@Fragmentsinfractals488 and it's also a form of Lux, which is interchangeable for Light. Another example would be Lumos from Harry Potter, another form to say Light. At this rate we'll be lucky to see everything come together before Nomura retires in five to ten years anyway lol
@@Fragmentsinfractals488 probably a bit of Union Cross I never got to play through unless it was part of back cover which I have only watched once anyway and that was when the 1+2 collection had just released.
@Fragmentsinfractals488 But among these great Masters of Ancient Egypt there once dwelt one of whom Masters hailed as "The Master of Masters." This man, if "man" indeed he was, dwelt in Egypt in the earliest days. He was known as Hermes Trismegistus. He was the father of the Occult Wisdom; the founder of Astrology; the discoverer of Alchemy. how interesting. Sound familiar? And these. The Seven Hermetic Principles, upon which the entire Hermetic Philosophy is based, are as follows: 1. The Principle of Mentalism. 2. The Principle of Correspondence. 3. The Principle of Vibration. 4. The Principle of Polarity. 5. The Principle of Rhythm. 6. The Principle of Cause and Effect. 7. The Principle of Gender. Try applying this to Sora and Riku. Light Darkness. Love. Riku the Transmitter, Sora the Receiver
The Hundred Arc Wood is made to Parallel Kairi narratively. A World of Eternal Childhood. Kairi is a Pure light, so Darkness doesn't grow in there. Physical doesn't come out of there Kairi is afraid of change (Stuck in the past in Sora's Mind) and loses her Memory of Sora in KH2/368/2, like Pooh. And in Three, Pooh's connection to Sora is fraying, like Kairi is separating farther from Sora and Riku. Kh3 Pooh is Kairi's fear that Sora keeps forgetting her and their connection is slipping away. Re Mind is basically creating a new path to get to Kairi
@@Fragmentsinfractals488 Damn that's so freakin cool!
Hey when it comes to Sora being a new born heart that helped Ven, the world's all have their own timelines and flows of time, so it's possible that during that scene Sora is either just born or not born yet, and he grows up by the time the rest of the game happens.
But if yeetus vanitus got thrown into quadratum, how would he manage to get back so easily in time for the keyblade war in KH3?
@@Saliha189I'm not too sure thats a good question. The way I thought about it was the first door he went threw was Arendale. So he physically is in Arendale technically and not Quadratum. The first door was thrown threw the 2nd which I think might be Tangled. Then Tangled door is tossed into the final door. So you could say to get back he could have tried this; While in Arendale go through the door you just got tossed in. That would place you in Tangled because that specific door isnt in Monsters Inc anymore, it was tosses into Tangled. Then while in Tangled there would be the 2nd door that was tossed into Quadratum. Take the 2nd door from Tangled into Quadratum. Then Quadratum 'would' have a door that lead to Monsters Inc except that door was destroyed. So the 2nd door would still exist where ever the 3rd place was, so he could have always just went back to the 2nd and 1st doors. The link or pathway between Monsters Inc and those 3 doors are gone but they are still connected to each other. We could question how would he have passed each door if you need a power source to use them but since Vanitas is a battery of negative emotions i'd say he wouldn't have any trouble with this. Also I have a longer videos in Vanitas but I breifly toy with the idea that Vanitas has remnants of himself everywhere. So if 1 Vanitas was gone, he has more of him to spare.
Comparing Nomura and G.R.R.M got you a sub lol. Two of my hyper focused fandoms that I know more about than real life😂
@@brittanyofhouseblackwood same 😆 thank you❤️
You might be on to something.
This is honestly an interesting theory, regardless of whether you end up being right or not. I think the biggest argument for it is these weird looking hills around The Mysterious Tower that do look like they could be the islands from Scala Ad Caelum overgrown by nature. The only counter argument I can think of right now is that barely a century (maybe even only half a century) wouldn't be enough for nature to take back these amounts of human made infrastructure, even if made out of stone. Although technically there could be some ways to explain this away, like "something happened when Scala went down and this made the city overgrown" a la Sleeping Beauty. If nothing else there is definitely a visual parallel here, which is imo really cool in itself. But the fact that Luxu seems to just suddenly have the box after everything happening in the Keyblade Graveyard is really sus. Yen Sid wouldn't even have to know about the box. And it's true that if the box is hidden or buried somewhere, it would be hilariously ironic and so like Nomura to have this somewhere be the grounds of the Mysterious Tower. A place we've known for so long and to this day, together with its owner, is mostly an easteregg for Fantasia. It would be very neat if the tower had more lore relevance. And if I remember correctly, it's stated somewhere (I think it was Eraqus himself who said it in BBS) that Yen Sid studied together with Eraqus and Xehanort when they were young. I might have remembered this wrong, but if I didn't, then this would potentially draw a connection between Yen Sid and Scala Ad Caelum. TL;DR: I think you might be on to something.
24:52 couldn't that be San Fransokyo?
I remember hearing that Vanitas' theme was also played during a concert alongside all the other "hero" characters' themes. I can't remember what or where I heard that from, so take it with a pinch of salt, but it could suggest Vanitas is going to somehow be redeemed later on, because why else would they put Vanitas' theme with Sora's, Riku's etc unless they wanted to link and hint to him becoming a hero of some sort, too?
POOH BEAR
you trying to connect riku to vanitas is a smart direction as roxas, xion, and namine are more related to sora and kairi in some way
I enjoyed seeing him interact with Mike, Sully, Boo, Woody, and Buzz. Very awesome freindship
Good video dude
Well, these were definitely theories.
Hi Mike just found your videos keep up great content . 😊
1:00 I noticed this too about Vanitas' quote - literally a few hours before finding this video! I remember watching this scene years ago, but I had overlooked it as Vanitas being philosophical/metaphorical in explaining his choices. Only after I recently re-watched it did it hit me that it might actually be a gigantic hint that Vanitas' story isn't over - that he has a high chance of reappearing in a future game. That maybe he was literally telling Sora and Ventus to their faces that his future-self(the Vanitas of their time) was still around, most likely lingering within either one of them. Otherwise, you'd think that he would be upset that he had lost - that he was going to be sent back to the past where he was most likely destroyed in Ventus' act of sacrifice to destroy them both in their clash - that all of his efforts & suffering would have been for nothing. But instead he seemed fine with their conclusion as he finally disappeared - and the most likely reason for that is because he knows he'll be okay, either from simply seeing or sensing his future self - or perhaps even having a conversation with him.
When it comes to riku and his darkness. Something, interesting I've picked up on is often times riku can't see the good side of his own darkness. See, riku views it as something evil he must keep in check. However, the darkness time and time again has told riku he needs to accept it. Because accepting it will make him whole. Darkness is natural just as light is and by rejecting it. He is rejecting himself.
I don’t see the connection, you are kind of all over the place. However, the theory on the box sounded really good, and almost made sense. Maybe explore that theory.
Shoot tbh I had no idea how to approach and setup the video lol. 1 I'm bad at explaining things in general and 2 the theory has a bunch of moving parts.
I like your idea about the Re:Mind cutscenes. The one where Sora gets crystallised could lead to the scene with Strelitzia we saw in the trailer. The other could be later down the line after some big twist.
you will never understand how much my jaw dropped when i got that this was a video about repliku
I was not on board with your KH2 secret ending until you mentioned the capes. I've never noticed that the capes were added in the remind scene and I'm very convinced now.
Really cool breakdown of Vanitas! I'm only at the part where you mention Sora could be the true dandelion, and that's a really interesting idea that I've never considered. I think Strelitzia so far seems like more likely to be it, but it being Sora would be a really cool twist! Since the KHUX ending introduced hearts melting into another during death, that could be an explanation for Sora's "new-born heart". One route they could go is making Sora be the Player from KHUX and Missing Link in his past lives. It would give the title of "Birth by Sleep" another meaning. But if Sora is Player, it probably means that he's not the true dandelion because Player shows up in early Scala.
