As an Ethiopian Orthodox Christian, I am so happy to stumble in to this video. I will share this with everyone I know especially the younger generation. God bless you and protect you my sister🙏🏼
She spoke about all other Orthodox Churches in Europe. Egypt and the middle east but she seems not aware of the existence of Ethiopian orthodox church which is one of the oldest and the real orthodox with long tradition. .
WOW. As an Eritrean/Ethiopian Orthodox christian , I can say I am highly impressed with this video! May God continue to use you to spread the truth of Orthodoxy.
@@Romeo089 oh I was not talking about the two churches that are not in communion with eachother, I was mentioning about The Eritrean and Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church being the same with different nationalities.
1.6 Billion vs 200 Shrinking Millions! There you have your answer. Peter (Pope) is always singled out by Jesus Christ himself. You agree that the Pope is the first among equals. Right?
I’m black and was born to protestantism. Didn’t take my faith seriously until my mom converted to Islam when I was young and my step father tried to convert me (not forcefully). At some point I got into history and bumped into orthodoxy. Studied it for about a year, found a church and learned from them for another year until I decided to become a catechumen a couple months ago. Orthodoxy helped me fully understand God and his love for us and that motivated me to better my life and continue to learn more.

@@FatherSonSpirit1 I know that in some countries of Africa there are very lively parishes. Last September I met the bishop of Kongo and he was a delight! Perhaps there is an Orthodox Church near you? Anyway, our Lord is Merciful and if you ask Him He will send you an answer.
@@FatherSonSpirit1 Very sorry for the late reply, I know it's long overdue. Well that depends on your starting point and your background. Coming from a Baptist background myself, I was fascinated by the history but struggled with certain things like Venerating Mary and Icons. Read The Orthodox Church by Timothy (Kallistos) Ware. It's explains a lot of the history and details how certain practices formed in the early church. From there I would just make sure to constantly attend liturgy and speak as much with church elders as possible. God Bless you brother 🙏.
I've been Orthodox for nearly 5 years. I am also Black. The person who helped me get plugged in to Orthodoxy was another Black woman. It has blessed me in so many ways.
Not trying to be mean, but If you are saying that you are a member of the "Oriental Orthodox" Ethiopian Church, then you're not really an Orthodox Christian. The so-called "Oriental Orthodox" are a collection of Churches that rejected the Holy Ecumenical Council of Chalcedon (AD 451) and severed themselves from the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, aka the Orthodox Catholic Church, otherwise known colloquially as the eastern Orthodox Church. Come to Christ's one Church and receive the fullness of the faith. If, on the other hand, you are a member of the eastern Orthodox Church, then disregard my comment.
Yes. Based on the thumbnail of her other video,i felt like she's Orthodox,(Ethiopian Orthodox Christian to be specific).Today i saw her explaining the faith and,ohw my heart literally melted😚

My wife and I are in our 50’s and spent our entire lives as evangelical Christians (Baptist and Church of Christ). This past Pascha we were both baptized into the Orthodox Church. It was the culmination of a multi-year journey and exploration. Simply put, we found the true church and we are finally HOME!! Thank you so much for this video. I’m sharing it with everyone I know.
I am a Greek orthodox Christian and it's very difficult to translate and explain all this in English thank you so much for this video I will share & post everywhere God bless ❤✝️☦️
I was raised baptist/nondenominational and I just recently started going to an orthodox church. I only found out about the orthodox church a few weeks ago and its truely a shame that more Americans don't know about her. I had been feeling like I was missing something for a long time and the only way I can describe the feeling is like finally getting drink of water after wondering in the desert for days. I'm so grateful the Lord has lead me to the church He built❤
Wow, I feel like I can really relate to that. When I first rededicated my life to Jesus as an adult after having been raised as a non-denominational Christian, I actually tried to combine Christianity with paganism and eventually realized that that does not work. At the same time, I have never really been able to shake the feeling that there is more to practicing true, personal, Biblical spirituality than just reading the Bible, praying and singing worship songs. I am beginning to wonder if this is it.
@@annaspeaksout2964 I'm in the same boat, in a way. I left the Protestant church 5 years ago for many, many reasons one of them being that it felt spiritually dead to me. There were always a lot of emotions, but no true mysticism. I've dabbled in "spiritual" practices since, I guess some you could consider some pagan. I'm still interested in learning more about the beliefs of our ancestors before conversion. However, I continue feeling drawn to Orthodoxy despite not considering myself a Christian any longer. It feels truer than any understanding of Christianity I have known, and feels like it answers a lot of the missing pieces I felt within Protestantism.
I am from Ethiopia where there are millions of people following the Orthodox Christianity religion. There are many churches and ancient monasteries in Ethiopia. Being Orthodox is being blessed because the Orthodox religion is a religion founded by the blood of Jesus Christ. I'd like this girl preaching about Orthodox in her video. What I would like to recommend is every Orthodox Christian should watch this girl's speech all over the world.
I was baptized and christmated into the Orthodox Church in 2011.☦️ I’ve been a believer my whole life, as I grew up in the Seventh Day Adventist church - the church of my parents. I met my husband in 2006, and he was already a convert to Orthodoxy. I spent many years learning and studying the history of the true church of Christ until I became a Catechumen and eventually baptized as an Orthodox Christian. For anyone seeking, may the Holy Spirt guide you and help your heart accept the true teachings of Jesus Christ. It’s a journey of the soul and each of us finds the our to God in His holy and perfect time. The fullness of the Orthodox practice is an experience that cannot be described by words alone. This video is beautifully and eloquently presented, very well explained for newcomers or searchers. Thank you sister in Christ for sharing your faith with the world, God bless you!! 💜💜💜

@@wanitalll The very word denomination, that is, division, means that something, which was one, unique, whole, was divided. Divisions were not made by God but by people with the help of fallen angels. This struggle of truth and lies, good and evil has been going on since time immemorial. I am convinced that everything is true, and that all God's laws, despite all the distractions, have seen the light of day. But also, many falsehoods, untruths and lies are embedded in many scriptures and holy books. Second, I believe that most of us are born with an innate ability to distinguish God's laws from those that do not come from God. But the fallen angel and his demons are highly intelligent and skilled manipulators and masters of deception. All misunderstandings, all divisions, bigotry, hatred and conflicts originate from there. With God's permission, of course, because it is not possible otherwise. God knows why, and we can only guess. But what is certain, we all know, even subconsciously, what is good, just, and what is evil. It is up to each of us which way to go.
I was brought up in the protestant church but I am becoming much more aware of the beauty, truthfulness and faithfulness of the Orthodox Church. God bless you sister
She doesn’t know what she’s talking about. She hasn’t read the source material which is obvious and regurgitating talking points she’s heard without actually knowing the issues. Like using MT 18:18 which is a proof text for the papacy not Orthodoxy. She’s pretty bad
My brother/sister, I know the condition of the Protestant churches in the west may be bad. But we shouldn't see people to follow Christ. We should put our eyes only on Christ whom holds the only truth. Of course orthodox churches are gorgeous and beautiful. But beauty won't get you to heaven. Only the full work of Christ will, which the orthodox church failed to teach. There are a lot of activities in the orthodox "church" which are against the gosple that Paul and the apostles preached. These activities are cursed and are activities which the devil loves. So don't be deceived by beauty, even satan himself can be beautiful than the orthodox church. Don't drift away from the word of God which is the Truth.
@@JasmyneTheodoraDear sister, that is a very good explanation, but the first time Orthodoxy and Catholicism were divided was in 451 AD, not 1054 AD, and it is called the Council of Chalcedon. They were separated into Roman Catholicism and Oriental Orthodoxy. In 1054 AD, Catholicism was divided into Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy.

I’m a cradle Orthodox and I didn’t even know some of this. I have much respect for converts like you, who are Orthodox on purpose. Thank you, much appreciation for your video. God bless you.
Anna, Isn't this one of our problems - that converts are so much more knowledgeable about our Faith than the cradle ones. My wife, after a couple of miracles since her conversion, has by the Grace of God, been an Orthodox teacher for some 40 years and a producer of countless books of Orthodox services in transliterated Greek and the English translation. Jasmyne, Theodora, your rendition on the Church here is an amazing spiritual blockbuster. God's blessings over the Lenten Fast.
I’m a Christian and I go to a non-denominational church. But I’ve been wanting to go deeper and have a more intimate/rich relationship with God. It all feels very surface level sometimes, and I know that following God isn’t surface level AT ALL. Thank you for the information. I really enjoyed this, and I hope you make more!
I felt the exact same way! I just recently started going to an orthodox church in search of something more. Please try it, I'm so happy I decided to branch out because now I know this is where I'm meant to be
We can't call ourselves Christians if we are not in the Orthodox Church. Its just a fact I had to get over in my journey of learning the history of Christianity and the Church and Schism and post Schism churches most of us were raised in. Once you and I are in the church then we can call ourselves Christians. Until then we are aware of the Holy Spirit and Christ, but not yet in the fold. My mother did not like hearing that at all, and I don't expect you to either. I broke it down to her in car terms. Henry Ford created the the first car the Model T(in this case its the Orthodox Church), Chevy DID NOT(Chevy being Catholicism and all other denominations after the Schism), you would not take that Ford emblem and stick it on a Chevy and call it a Ford. Get it? But that is the truth and what all my research over the last two years has got me to except. When I have the means of travel again I will start to look for a Orthodox Church in my State and hopefully get to start attending. Go check out Orthodox Ethos and Living Orthodox YT Channels they are fully legit and do respond to your comments most of the time.

I kind of wonder if things like the suppression of Christianity in the Soviet Union, along with the cold war and all the ideological/political conflicts between the Soviet Union and the West are what stifled the spread of the Orthodox Church for so long (at least in North America), given that the Orthodox Church primarily existed in locations under Soviet rule. If so, that's really quite sad, but it's really interesting to see more and more people gaining interest in the Orthodox Church now, including myself. I think a major reason why it's happening now is because too many churches in the West have become so lukewarm or even heretical in adopting left wing extremism, that they barely have anything substantial left to offer.
@JadestonePony the church thrives under persecution. It's about quality, not quantity. Although, I'd love to see a massive conversion to the Orthodox Church. I'm a convert, maybe it's happening now.

Hi! I so love that you commented about this. There is a young lady about your age in our Orthodox parish who veils and she is one of the only ladies and definitely the only young lady who does it. I admire her conviction and her bravery!
hello, good question i think veiling in orthodoxy has to do with the Apostle Paul teaching in corinthians 1 chapter 11, that its dishonorable for a woman to pray with her head uncovered or for a man to pray with a covered head..in orthodoxy we keep these old Christian traditions, that most other Christian deminations forgot..
Ive decided to convert out of Protestantism into Orthodoxy, i grew up as a Protestant and going to their churches i started to leave Christianity as a whole because it felt so forced, i could never follow along with the songs or the pastor because it didnt feel real, but i looked up other branches and i rlly felt like God was leading me to Orthodoxy, i truly believe that this is the path im called to take

St Ireneaus (Disciple of John the apostle) in his book Against Heresies (Book III, Chapter 3) stated: …by indicating that tradition derived from the apostles, of the very great, the very ancient, and universally known Church founded and organized at Rome by the two most glorious apostles, Peter and Paul; as also [by pointing out] the faith preached to men, which comes down to our time by means of the successions of the bishops. For it is a matter of necessity that every Church should agree with this Church, on account of its preeminent authority…
You shouldn’t leave the Catholic faith but read the church fathers and history of Christianity in the first and second century. Also, Jesus said: Matthew 16:18 And I tell you, you are Peter (rock) and on this rock(Peter) I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it
Amen! and you see now the disunity amongst Orthodox where the Russians and Ukrainians, both predominantly Orthodox, are killing each other over politics. That is far from unity and impartiality. Hi, girl. Greetings from Bulgaria, an Orthodox country. We believe Orthodoxy is the purest form of Christianity. I am glad that you have found your way to God and Christ through the Orthodox Church
Ancient Christianity is much more vast than people give credit for. It really is such a shame, that I allowed myself as a child and teenager to forget it all, but I embraced Orthodoxy for myself and you are partly the reason for it. I truly hope to see more videos about orthodoxy and Christianity in general in the future as I don’t feel like we will ever have enough content especially from the orthodox perspective. Really really excited to watch more.
Genuine curious question: Do orthodox believe genuine hearted believers who have not yet (or maybe ever) found their way to an Orthodox Church will be saved based on their genuine confession of Jesus and *true fruit* of works to show for their faith? Also: when you say saved, do you mean condemned to hell versus not condemned? Or do you mean what Protestants would call “sanctified”?
@@carlykamps411 To your first question, I will quote "We know where the Holy Spirit is. We cannot say where He is not." To your second, my best understanding so far is that Salvation in Orthodoxy is much more akin to the Protestant concept of sanctification, yes. There is a great book that talks about the difference in how the same terms are used between Orthodox, Protestant, and Roman Catholic: Know the Faith by Father Michael Shanbour if you want to know more. Orthodoxy and Heterodoxy by Father Andrew Stephen Damanik is another good one.

Please look at the Catholic Church which I’ve found to be the true church of Christ. Orthodox hopefully will come back into full communion with Rome. But the truth is Christ instituted the Catholic Church with Peter as the first pope. You should look more into this, read the ecumenical councils. Michael loftons channel reason and theology also points out the many errors and misunderstandings she holds. He is a former Orthodox.

I am very blessed that my dad found the Greek Orthodox Church about 10 years ago, although I did not join the church with him at the time. I'm sure through many years of his prayers, I'm finding myself growing closer to Orthodoxy over the years. I have been a protestant Christian my whole life, and have recently been feeling this very deep and intense calling from the Holy Spirit to pursue Holiness in everyday life. My desire to honor God is greater than my desire to simply live under Grace. During the year we also fast every Wednesday and Friday (no meat those days and for those who can no dairy, eggs, etc.) Sorry there is a lot more to your question and not easy to answer here. I do not wear a head covering in church although a lot of the older women do. This can be observed more in Russia, Serbia, Romania.@@mamak4969
Your observation that many Protestants emphasize being saved from the penalty of sin while Orthodoxy emphasizes being saved from sin itself is spot on. I’m not Orthodox yet but was initially drawn to it for this very reason.
@@countryboyredYou remind me of the notion that the Law could not save us, it could only judge us. So the Word became flesh to offer us salvation as our bride/groom when he married the church.

What are ethiopian orthodox services like? Ik they have rich traditions, just wondering how they practice exactly since their churches, iconography, etc is beautiful.
This is the best explanation I've ever seen. Hours of conversations are good, but condensing everything into 20 minutes is great. This is what we need to talk to people in their language and try to convey to them. More videos about simple and important things of faith in a reasonable time for working people.
Wow Jasmyne, you blew me away with how much you know that I had to show my wife (she is Greek as well). Well done and such great informative about Orthodoxi!!!!! GOD bless you always sister!!!!
My husband is black (born & raised in America, his parents from Nigeria), he had converted to Orthodoxy before we even met. I’m Greek, which means I was born & raised in a very Orthodox environment and from a quite religious background with many teachers, theologians and priests in the family. Nevertheless, every day I’m being inspired by my husband’s faith & I know it was a blessing for us to meet and become one. Most Holy Theotokos, Save us! ☦️🙏

Amen sister ❤🙏 It is the one true apostolic Christian faith. I am Serbian and belong to the Serbian Orthodox Christian church. ☦️ My mom is Catholic (and dad is Orthodox) and being raised in both, I can honestly say that the Orthodox teachings speak more to my heart. I was baptized Orthodox, and baptized my children Orthodox and married an Orthodox man.
Loved your journey to Orthodoxy. I am a cradle Orthodox. My late Husband Louis became Luke after reading Fr Seraphim Rose and Bishop Kallistos Ware on his several books on the Orthodox Church. Both were Converts. My late husband came from a Lutheran background but embraced Orthodoxy. Memory Eternal ☦️ to all of them.

Hi Jasmine! I am in the process of becoming a catechumen in the Greek Orthodox Church because of your educational videos. I was going to enter the Roman Catholic Church but it didn't seem right. Your videos showed me why. Thank you so much for bringing me closer to Christ and His Church.
Food for thought, Olivia, bearing in mind I'm Catholic but with sympathies for Traditionalist Catholicism and Orthodoxy (both Eastern & Oriental), the Greek Orthodox Church and Russian Orthodox Church have broke communion with one another. Why? Well... Apparently the Patriarch of the Greek Orthodox Church (possibly under the influence of the CIA to wage war against Russia and its Christians) has declared himself de facto "Pope" so-to-speak of ALL Orthodox ethnic Churches across Earth including of the Russians (Orthodox). Furthermore, apparently the Greek Orthodox Patriarch is claiming the right to seize all Russian Orthodox Church properties across planet Earth. This is what I heard from a Russian Orthodox Priest on RUclips saying and explaining as parts of the reasons the Greeks and Russians have broke communion with one another. I suspect--can't know for certain--that the CIA and Globalist like J_wish George Soros are calling shots or influencers within the Catholic Church. I'm not a fan of Pope Francis. But then there are a number of Bishops and Cardinals in the Catholic Church like him.
I have a serious question: Don't you find issue with the Russian and Ukrainians being at war with each other, when both countries are predominantly Orthodox Christians? That shows disunity to me and no one should be killing their own brothers and sisters in Christ, especially over worldly political reasons.
Wow. Thank you, SOOOOOO much, the more I hear about Orthodoxy, the more I am confused why there are any other churches. It just hits ALL the nails I need, and way more depth. Protestant is like a tiny pond vs the whole ocean. Thank you for posting!

The best video I've seen. Thank you thank you. I'm non-denominational but late last year it occurred to me that there must be one way. I was discouraged by the tons of denominations out there, and it's interesting that none of the videos I watched spoke about Orthodoxy in such detail. I'm extremely grateful, you gave the facts and the contrasts so eloquently & simply. Thank you for your obedience!
Thank you. Born and raised Orthodox. Went to Hellenic College and studied Pre-Theology. Your video is great. I have never heard this so simple, so clear, so understandable, and so succinct.
I am eastern European (Moldova, raised orthodox) where the society nowadays is getting further from church and God in general, where they speak only bad things about orthodoxs and make fun of them (even though they also were raised as, but they don't believe in God in general). It was very hard for me to find God in this environment, where at school if you said you pray, you would be considered a weirdo. I wanted to start reading the Bible, just to be informed, because many people talk bad about It, without even reading a verse even. But half a year ago I started asking myself more and more about God and I rembember one day before sleep asking myself: "Does God really exist? What if not?!" and the same night He appeared in my dream. That is not a coincidence for sure.
Hi, I'm a catholic and like it that way for now, but I'm genuinly wondering about what cult is the best between catholic and orthodox to rightfully praise God. Could you explain what made you choose orthodoxy?
I am a Greek orthodox Christian and it is truly our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth working miracles and showing people as yourself the true way. Thank you for your insights and knowledge may our Lord Jesus Christ guide you and protect you now and forever Amen🙏☦️

Just a warning, while bishop Mari is a great teacher, he belonged to a church that is considered heretical, the Assyrian church of the east for promoting Nestorianism. Mar Mari himself was also excommunicated by that church, and started his own church and appointed himself bishop.

@@sakispdsw He believes that Jesus is human and divine. 100% of both. That is why he is the perfect lamb. the only one qualified to pay for our sins with his blood. because he is both man and yet he is God. He over came the temptations of sin (the flesh) because only God could do that (his divinity). So he is both because no human in history, before or after Him could ever pay for our sins. Done. " And [mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed God has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds. O Mary, be devoutly obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow with those who bow [in prayer]."(Quran 3:42-43 )
" [And mention] when the angels said, “O Mary, indeed God gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to God ].
He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous. She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is God ; He creates what He wills.
When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is. He will teach him the Scripture and wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel, And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of God.(Quran 03:45-49)
"And [beware the Day] when God will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides God ?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen. I told them only what You commanded me to: “Worship God, my Lord and your Lord.” I was a witness over them during my time among them. Ever since You took my soul, You alone have been the watcher over them: You are witness to all things."(Quran 5:116-117)

If you don't mind me asking, how did you come to find out about this?
God bless
@@annaspeaksout2964 I'm in the same boat, in a way. I left the Protestant church 5 years ago for many, many reasons one of them being that it felt spiritually dead to me. There were always a lot of emotions, but no true mysticism. I've dabbled in "spiritual" practices since, I guess some you could consider some pagan. I'm still interested in learning more about the beliefs of our ancestors before conversion. However, I continue feeling drawn to Orthodoxy despite not considering myself a Christian any longer. It feels truer than any understanding of Christianity I have known, and feels like it answers a lot of the missing pieces I felt within Protestantism.

this was 30 minutes of propaganda not facts...
@@wakeup2realityostriches Isn't it a fact that she is talking about her personal experience and her knowledge. She presented it on her channel, as part of the presentation of her personal life and her experiences and knowledge. Where did you get the idea that she is not telling the facts? Why do you think it was propaganda? If we are talking about religion, about personal relationship with God. At this moment, she found herself in the Orthodox faith, and this is about her explaining how and why. Everyone has their own path that leads to or away from God. You choose your own path, regardless of who you meet along the way.

God bless you 😃
She doesn’t know what she’s talking about.
God said in Quran about Jesus (peace be upon him ):
" And [mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed God has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds. O Mary, be devoutly obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow with those who bow [in prayer]."(Quran 3:42-43 )

It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself.

It blows my mind that the Oldest branch of Christianity (its foundation, if you will) is not more widely known in the West. As a Russian Orthodox who immigrated to Canada, I'm beyond excited to see North Americans joining Orthodox church!☦️
God bless you Jasmyne! You're doing an amazing work ❤
I kind of wonder if things like the suppression of Christianity in the Soviet Union, along with the cold war and all the ideological/political conflicts between the Soviet Union and the West are what stifled the spread of the Orthodox Church for so long (at least in North America), given that the Orthodox Church primarily existed in locations under Soviet rule.
I'm a convert, maybe it's happening now.

hello, good question i think veiling in orthodoxy has to do with the Apostle Paul teaching in corinthians 1 chapter 11, that its dishonorable for a woman to pray with her head uncovered or for a man to pray with a covered head..in orthodoxy we keep these old Christian traditions, that most other Christian deminations forgot..

Also, Jesus said: Matthew 16:18
And I tell you, you are Peter (rock) and on this rock(Peter) I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it

Ancient Christianity is much more vast than people give credit for. The Catholic Church is just as ancient. This lady speaks so many mistruths about God’s true church and has not read the ecumenical councils.
Genuine curious question:
Do orthodox believe genuine hearted believers who have not yet (or maybe ever) found their way to an Orthodox Church will be saved based on their genuine confession of Jesus and *true fruit* of works to show for their faith?
Also: when you say saved, do you mean condemned to hell versus not condemned? Or do you mean what Protestants would call “sanctified”?
@@carlykamps411 To your first question, I will quote "We know where the Holy Spirit is. We cannot say where He is not."
To your second, my best understanding so far is that Salvation in Orthodoxy is much more akin to the Protestant concept of sanctification, yes.

I am leaving protestantism behind and converting to Orthodox Christianity.

ethiopian orthodox is completely different from other Orthodox churches.
What are ethiopian orthodox services like? Ik they have rich traditions, just wondering how they practice exactly since their churches, iconography, etc is beautiful.
This is one of the best introductory videos for people interested in living Orthodox I have ever come across
This is the best explanation I've ever seen. Hours of conversations are good, but condensing everything into 20 minutes is great. This is what we need to talk to people in their language and try to convey to them. More videos about simple and important things of faith in a reasonable time for working people.
I respectfully appreciate that! Thank you.

I am really happy for you being chosen by Jesus Christ of Nazareth to spread the words of our Lord to the world. 'Many are called, but few are chosen.' Sending love from Ethiopia, one of the ancient and few Orthodox countries in the world.

I’ve commented on this video so many times 😂 Jazmyne thank you so much for this. You first introduced me to the Orthodox Church with this video. I first attended one in December 2023. Now I’m going to be chrismated and received into the church in a couple weeks. This has been a wild ride. I’m learning so much and experiencing God for the first time. I’m being humbled and broken …. And then healed. God bless you ❤

Hi Jasmine! I am in the process of becoming a catechumen in the Greek Orthodox Church because of your educational videos. I was going to enter the Roman Catholic Church but it didn't seem right. Your videos showed me why. Thank you so much for bringing me closer to Christ and His Church.
Wow, that’s amazing to hear. Thank you so much for sharing that with me. 💛💛
You really need to research and READ the 7 councils. There are some theological errors here. Keep searching.

Fellow Orthodox Christian here. I've learned something new! Thank you, great video.
Same in Russia. If you want to lose your friends tell them that you belive in God and explore Bible((

I follow Bishop Mari and seeing this video feels like a confirmation on looking into transitioning into this type of church. I grew up in an Evangelical Church but There was always something missing.Thank you for this in depth video. I'm so blessed to have found you.
Just a warning, while bishop Mari is a great teacher, he belonged to a church that is considered heretical, the Assyrian church of the east for promoting Nestorianism. Mar Mari himself was also excommunicated by that church, and started his own church and appointed himself bishop.
@@sakispdsw i appreciate your warning, but i haven't seen any of those allegations to be true. so until i find them i'm going to continue to search and explore. thank you.
@@AbigailOrtiz-ml3ib Allegations? Those things are facts. The church he was in before is the Assyrian church of the east and he was excommunicated. He then founded his own church in Australia. This is all facts, they are even in wikipedia ffs
Done.
Bishop Mari Mari believes in the true nature of Christ. SO Inconclusion I stand by my brother in Christ, because at the end of the day I wasnt in Assyria, I dont know what happened there. People are kicked out of church all the time, and that does not reflect on their character or their beliefs.
