Question/advice: How can we find a balance between being gentle, caring and forgiving while not letting people take us for granted?
What works for me is to set boundaries (I’m Flamish so sorry for my spelling) if someone keeps hurting you it is okay to take a stem back from that person while still forgiving and loving that person
You state your standard/boundaries to them in a soft, gentle manner. Then observe their actions over times.. If they repeat the same mistakes 4-5 times, you can choose either to leave them as they are (because they are not capable of change) or distance yourself from them (so you can find your inner peace). You cannot control people actions, but you can control your reactions. Hope this helps :)
I agree on that, I want to do that. But the people I'm trying to distance myself from are my parents. It's difficult, I live in another city but they visit more often lately. I can't change them but I don't know how to love them either. Big sighh :) @@naysmne

We need to also emphasize one thing: manage your expectations because falling off that high horse hurts badly! You can be a woman who follows all those principles, is proud of herself and then she waits for the "crops she sow" - the reciprocation of her husband. She had a vision in mind of him adoring her the way she wants to be adored, and then ... It turns out his idea of adoration her is very different than what she expected! She wanted to be showered with compliments, get gifts or be invited to a restaurant more often, but her husband is the type to show adoration by always being home on time, fixing things around the house, respecting her wishes, stopping with a vice/addiction or doing something after her first call and not saying "I'll do it later" and never doing it. This is a very tough pill to swallow because you actually got what you wanted, but not in the form you wanted and berating your husband for not meeting your expectations would most definitely crush his heart as he was probably working hard to show his appreciation of you on his own way. So ladies - careful with what you wish for!

You are absolutely right, our expectations sometimes puts us in crazy situations, yes you might love the the guy and do all these things but his way of showing love to you might be different than what you expected

An alternative is to express your desire with "I want", "Id love" phrases. Also expressing gratitude openly when he does things will encourage him to do it more often.

This came at the right time. I've been wanting to become more feminine and close to an ideal woman, for myself of course and my boyfriend too, because he deserves to have the best version of myself. I have been making the mistake of not being feminine in the relationship and not growing.

I was certain my boyfriend would propose. We were doing beautifully and then I got impatient and pushy. Argumentative. He's very sensitive and he couldn't take my outbursts. He left! I learnt my lesson. I disrespected him, unintentionally. Hopefully, God willing we reconcile.
@@danilaroche1156 If he is the one, he'll understand that you were not yourself at that time, he'll see the good in you. Show him you have accountability for your actions and that you are willing to be by his side, and he'll certainly come back. If he does not, then God has better things for you I'm sure. Lessons are learned, don't beat yourself up for things, just make sure to always ensure growth in your life.

A breakup is when you can focus on yourself only, maybe now you have time to grow yourself before God gives you a man again, a better version of a man in a way you can't even imagine..
You being argumentative, maybe that is more deep-rooted, what if this is some sort of trigger ?? Like a trauma gotten from childhood that is too subtle and subconscious to be seen so God pulls a trigger so it can rise to the surface, God's plan should be trusted :))
Secrets of fascinating womanhood is the GOAT of all time. I remember crying through it, I saw clearly how and where I was hurting my man and what made him close off emotionally. We blossomed again when I knew better and did better. This was beautiful ❤

This entire page is addressed towards women/wives that want to improve themselves in their femininity to become more confident, feel more attractive and attract other people in a positive feminine way.
@@sleekgeekm846It's all about what WE want these days, do we ever stop and think about what our partner wants from us? Think about what your partner wants, and then if they are the right one, they'll make sure to give you everything you want. If they do not reciprocate, move on, simple as. What's so bad about giving 100% on a relationship? If anything, it makes you a good person.
The book is about the ideal woman from a man’s POV. I have a lot of other videos that don’t revolve around what men are attracted to :-)
@@cherryhazard8002I think that like with everything, the devil is in the details. I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with giving 100% in relationships, but I think it’s pretty nonsensical to say give your all, but also be so detached that you’re willing to pull out at the first sign of not getting your needs met and that moving on is “simple”. And also if you have multiple relationships it’s considered a red flag and that you don’t know how to commit or be patient. It’s deeply contradictory.
I think it’s a difficult circle to square when you tell women that we have to walk this emotional tightrope all by ourselves, do all this inner work and cultivation and be these stellar, understanding, empathetic people-but a man who doesn’t seem to be encouraged to do any of this work or have any other requirement than being born with the right parts-that’s the person that’s supposed to call all the shots and be the source of our earthly fulfillment.
Gotta admit, it kind of rubs any woman that does any work on themselves the wrong way.
My husband says all I need to do to make him happy is to be happy lol

This is so informative, came in at the right time as a newlywed and didn't have an example because I come from a single mother. I'm learning and praying to be a Proverbs 31:30 woman.

Could you make a video about fantasizing about boys who give you the slightest bit of attention and how to break away from that. Just decentering men in general and no not in a feminist way but rather just being freed from the idolatry of men and their validation
Look up how to heal insecure attachment imo
Focus on growing in Christ. Get fit. Absorb the word. Stay in fellowship with genuine believers. Little by little you won't be obsessed with boys/men.
Used to be in these shoes, or perhaps still improving. I figured the reason was because I was so focused on meeting the one, so anyone that shows up I imagine they're the one and almost start fantasizing about them. But recently I've had a family meeting with God😅 and told Him I'll stop looking. Definitely sure he'll send the right one when the time comes.

Hi Jasmyne, I'm really thankful for your videos. I've always been surrounded by mostly men (I only have brothers and I work in male dominated field right now) and I feel as though I've always subconsciously hid my femininity. Videos like yours have helped me so much become confortable being a feminine women. I really can't wait to have a house on the countryside and to spend everyday of my life caring for my husband and children 🩷

Re: childlike anger, I think it’s dependent on the woman’s unique feminine essence. Personally I am prone to drama and play so naturally demonstrate instances of childlike anger, which is a way for me to poke fun at my emotions that don’t warrant serious consideration! My husband has a playful spirit as well so he finds joy in it, too.

I just finished reading it a few days ago, I have the PDF version and I literally have no one to discuss it with otherwise everyone at home will think I'm being brainwashed. I'm not sure anymore if these are the (generally speaking) traits that every man or most men want. I am mostly this way, i like to be natural, im naturally rather gentle, sensitive, feminine yet strong but in a feminine way, i like to be playfully unserious... I used to be like this and thought that it would attract me a suitable partner. These days i kind of feel like giving up lol. I have been bullied throughout my childhood, mostly by other girls but also by boys. And that made me very inexpressive in a way and even more introverted than i was before. But back to my point, sometimes when i act like this, such as the spontaneous and "childlike" sense of humor etc i get stared at, lol, and also i sometimes get told things like "you are my age but you act like you're not" (which...if you know what that means, it has negative connotations), sometimes i get ignored, called dumb, insulted. This is mostly in companion of my college friends, but also young people nowdays in general. People ignore and ghost me all the time. They think that these qualities of mine means that i'm dumb or something, when it has nothing to do with that and i think i'm rather wise.
I think kind men and Godly men do recognize amd want first of all, kind and gracious women, but men who are "in the world" do not, at least consciously, value the essence of femininity anymore (or at least, this kind of charming, disarming side of it). Basically, think of feminism but the opposite side of that coin.
Since your content is mostly geared towards women, can you consider making a video on how can we find and attract Godly men?

The books has made it's way on to my To-read list, Thanks. "You are gods and all of you are children of the Most High" psalm 82: 6-7. I also used to frown upon the term "goddess" but then found out in the word that God does call us "gods" so i adjusted, so long it's from the understanding that we are made in the image of God and are His children.

What if you messed up? Yesterday, I accidentally yelled at my bf and said a curse word, which is completely out of my normal character. It isn't an excuse, but I'm dealing with a health issue and having pain from it. I apologized and he forgave me, but I feel so awful. Can I still be feminine?
Being feminine doesn't mean never making mistakes. Take that opportunity to be vulnerable, share the issue that stressed you to that point, and sincerely apologize to your loved ones and God. Learn and move forward.

Men will forgive greatly with a woman's apology. (few women apologize in a man's perspective, they tend to deflect)( I'm sorry you feel this way, I'm sorry I made you angry, those aren't apologies) So cudos to you. We men fail often and spectacularly, so we understand this.
Public disrespect is poisonous to men. (to everybody i know) Calling him out or cussing him out in public traps him in a fight or flight. He needs to do both at the same time. Push back at you and soothe you. It's impossible. ( I know Margaret Atwood says " men's greatest fear is women disrespecting them and women greatest fear is men killing them)
With all that said, my wife doesn't get to cuss. If there's a situation where cussing is required, I'm standing in front of her doing her cussing for her.

Hi Jasmyne, I love your content but I do have one question. Why does your channel focus so much on what men desire/want out of a Godly woman. As if our only purpose is to be desirable for men? I wonder why your content isn’t more pointed towards Godly femininity/behavior for women in general. We should want to be who God has created us to be for God and ourselves in the first place right? It seems as though your content is mainly pointed towards what men want as the main motivator for Godly femininity. Why is that? Or am I wrong? I hope this doesn’t come off as rude, I’m genuinely wondering.
Read your Bible most of Gods instruction for women is how she is in marriage to a man: that’s why her channel is the way it is cause that’s the lens in which the Bible positions Gods commands to women.
I have quite a few videos that don’t revolve around what men are attracted to! I also take video requests from my audience and many of them have to do with what men are attracted to, though.

@@bigk0101 I “read my Bible” thank you very much. Also, Gods commandments for how women should behave is not ONLY directed to how a woman should behave in marriage. There are plenty of scriptures that speak about how God desires for women to behave, married or not. Maybe you should read your Bible. So this is a weak argument for why most content caters to what men like. However, Jasmyne’s answer makes sense, this is mostly what her audience requests.
@@bigk0101 Uh, wrong. Christ says that we are to love one another, and the husband/wife verses are an example of that. To read hierarchy into this is the read something in that is not there. Remember, there is no command for the wife to obey. Her submission is a way of supporting the husband as is "headship" as in service is a way for him to serve/love her.
Hmm, I’ve been really enjoying your videos but I couldn’t get through her book. Maybe it was just the writing style, and I mean no disrespect to the author, but I felt like she portrayed the “ideal woman” as some giggly mindless child. Like, cutely stomping my foot when I’m upset? No. I feel like the way you explain things is much more balanced. A book I’ve also been enjoying is The Queens Code by Allison Armstrong.
Ok, so as I watch this you seem to actually be pointing out the things that didn’t sit right with me. So again, I appreciate your balanced take on this. Like when she talked about the feminine laugh…when something is really funny or brings me a lot of joy I do tend to laugh loudly and a lot. I really disliked the idea that I would have to suppress that about myself.
I agree. I read the book a while ago and thought it was garbage and yes, it does infantilize women. It's also based on Mormon teachings, which discredited it to me. I threw the book away; I didn't even donate it because I didn't want anyone else finding it.

I assume you’re talking about “ass” as in “smart ass”? Which refers to a donkey… I’m not sure I’d categorize that under “profane” but that’s why I was transparent about the use of the word in the video.

Looks bad on camera and I don’t like to standout like that. Although im rethinking my approach.
Those verses in First Corinthians are for the church in Ephesus at that point in time since "loose" women went about with their hair uncovered. Also, the "badge of authority" that Paul talks about is their own authority as Christians. So, Paul is saying for all Christians to behave as decent people in their culture so as to not discredit Christ.
