It is a sad state a church is in when it is OK with singing pagan music. Especially when just a few lyrical changes, it could have been a powerful witnessing tool.
I live in Arkansas now same state as Amy is from I’m from Colorado went to flat irons church in Lafayette they’re so cool and well known I found them here not even searching for them. Crazy how awesome Colorados church is that I found it without even looking up the church name just looking for evanescence church songs... truly awesome god is real
If I did this at flat irons as a cover I wonder if they would have let me scream the male screaming parts and go back to cleans. I’d hope that wouldn’t be offensive.

Jerry Jose exactly right. They clearly spend a lot of money on Lights and Smoke Machines and the like. Why don't they spend money on worthwhile things? At my church we have Christmas program with real live Donkeys and Camels. Well, we did until last year, the donkey escaped and we couldn't find another one in time so we borrowed Mr. Patterson's goat and make a donkey papier mache head to put over the goat's head so it looked like a Donkey for Mary to ride. This is how God is glorified, not through hippie songs with Flashing Lights!!

@@jerryKJose I'm in a band and can play and sing this but totally agree i go to Church to listen to the word of God. This needs to be separate.
