Hi, really enjoying your reviews. I particularly like the fact that you are not just looking at big brands, the Orka and Cleveland stuff was great. Do you have access to the whole Pxg range? It would be interesting to see a comparison between the 0811xf driver and the new 2021 0211 driver. They are both a similar price but I'm not sure of the difference. All the best.

Hi Stephen, thanks! I’m afraid we don’t have access to the whole range but hope to get trying that later this year

I had the proto driver. The low spin version. It isn’t bad. I found that it wasn’t super hot off the face. As someone swinging in the 114-116 range I was only carrying it 270. But it was very forgiving and reminded me a lot of a ping.
The proto 3 wood was good. It was my 250 carry club. And it launched high and spun low. Especially off the tee it launched really high.
The hybrid was my favorite of the bunch. It had a nice look. And it was very consistent for me, im left handed and I built it not to go right which most hybrids are meant to have a draw bias, as a draw player I struggled with hybrids for a long time and have since moved to a “driving iron”

The 3wood is currently on sale for £170, would you recommend it to a higher handicapper?

We found it to be as easy to hit as anything else we tested 😀 certainly worth a go!
