I still think Note 10 plus and s21 ultra are the best designed phones Samsung ever made.
The S21 Ultra is still one of my favorite phones. The S22 Ultra I kinda hated, but the S23 Ultra which I’ve had for a few days is pretty awesome. That said, if 1200 dollars seems like a lot to pay for a phone, you can’t go wrong with the still excellent S21 Ultra. I would happily use that phone today.

@@treborwillys9770 I can't say using the S23 Ultra is significantly different than using the S21 Ultra yet. I haven't had it long enough but it's been great so far.

camera the s23 is a big big winner, the details are insane but still... 1200 phone against a 2 years old model that is better than any other phone in the market
The S23 Ultra is a beast of a phone and if my S21 Ultra gets run over by a bus tomorrow I would definitely upgrade to the S23 Ultra. That said I plan to stick with my S21 Ultra at least until next year as strategically I think the S24 Ultra will be a bigger jump for Samsung.
I was so ready to grab the s23u yesterday but after plenty of thinking and reviews its jus not a big enough jump for me to make already having the s21plus..Yea longer battery and a spen...I think the wait for the s24 ultra is the best way to go..Even offered 800 for my s21 plus

@@cali8221 I just did it, the app is offering -200 and giving 600 for the 21U, total of 504 for the s23U, not a bad deal.
My S21U lost its water seal, I abused it. I was offered a free upgrade to the S23U, After research and realizing I would be hit with a downgraded display design,Front camera and Less system Ram. S21U max is 16gb, S23U max is 12gb. I am just replacing my S21 Ultra with another S21 Ultra, Really just seems like the best option.
@@Oblivionsurveyor I still love my S21 Ultra but would take a S23 Ultra over it, far better battery life, better processor, better speakers, rear camera upgrades and I actually used the S pen on my note 8 so I would use the S pen on the S23 Ultra. I'm keeping close watch on the S24 as that will probably be my next phone unless I switch to iPhone.
I upgraded to the S23 Ultra from the S21 Ultra...Almost Everything is an upgrade either small or big. Below is my opinion.
Small - screen, speed, smoothness, picture quality, speaker.
Big - battery life, heat, video quality, slow mo quality.
Your videos are a major help to me. You helped me choose the LG G8 a couple of years ago and you're helping me decide on a newer Samsung.

@kodyrandom def not as good, processor isn't as good, camera isn't as good. It's overall not as good. It's ram management isn't as good either. I can say this because I paid off my s21 ultra and now have the s23 ultra. So I still have both lol luckily the s21 ultra does still have a good camera close enough.

Both great phones! I had the S21 Ultra for 19 months. Just upgraded to the S23 Ultra 3 days ago. The 21 was top heavy and just heavy in general. The 23 is about the same weight but more balanced. The 23 looks and feels more premium to me than the 21.

I have the s23 ultra and I feel that the s21 Ultra was much better in everything there is a game named Marvel future fight that in the s23 Ultra it kind of lags and in the s21 Ultra I never had that problem and the screen of the s21 Ultrai noticed that is much better than the s23 ultra that looks like washed the x21 ultra crispier

I've got the S21 Ultra and, even though I have the Exynos version, I see no reason to upgrade. It will get two more years of systemupdates, so I'll be looking to replace it after that time. I would love to see a Galaxy S Plus with the Ultra camera module, I don't need the s- pen and I don't like the boxy Note look of the two recent Ultras.

Only reason to upgrade is the great battery life of the S23 Ultra. I had the Exynos S21 Ultra and now I have the S23 Ultra. Big difference in battery life glad I upgraded.
@jaydawg3031 that's good to read! Enjoy! I usually don't upgrade to the latest- and- greatest because I don't have around €950,- to spare. I usually wait for the newest flagship to come out and buy last year's at a discount/ refurbished. I have my S21 Ultra on battery protection mode and make it through the day, so I'll probably buy the S24 Ultra when the S25U comes out. Saves me money and makes the upgrade feel like an actual upgrade to me.

S21 ultra is better looking, it's has been my daily driver for 2 years, now I have switched to S23 ultra. I can tell that S23 ultra is faster and smoother, camera also better especially in mixed lighting and low light, low light video has improved . Battery life way better. So overall it's nice upgrade if you are after faster, smoother experience with better battery life and camera.
Wow, the pic of the elephant is surprisingly dark in the S23U shot. S21U exposed it way way better
Yeah, s21u processing is insanely powerful to this day. I was shocked how inferior s22u's main cam was compared to s21u. They did fix it after 6 months, but even then it didn't outperform s21u
Honestly, the s20 through to the s23 series are so closely comparable. If youre on a budget, you can buy the s21 and have a very very close experience to the s23

I got the s22 ultra last year and had the exact same problem when I compared it to my s21 ultra, it was brighter but it definitely wasn't as colourful.. the speakers were worse aswell so I just sent it back.

Personally I have an S20 ultra and an S21 ultra. I don't really see the point of changing unless I have a very good opportunity (which happens to me often). The S23 doesn't interest me too much, especially since I'm not a fan of the S pen and since the S21 ultra supports the S pen... The price of the S23 ultra is exorbitant. Maybe I'll take it in 2 years and again.

I know on my S22 Ultra at FHD+ and 60hz the LG V60 still gives me additional 2-3 Hours screen on time, both phones at 80% brightness too

i'll be honest, I like the look of the 23 Ultra, it looks more high end, ultimately that really doesn't matter so much since the phone would be kept in a case at all times, the big thing thats enticing me is now that the phones are out Verizon has upped the antae and for existing customers is offering a $1,000 trade-in credit if I trade in the 21 Ultra, which would make the phone only cost like 10-11 bucks a month for 3 years for the 512GB or 5-6 bucks if I stay with a capacity of 256GB and thats just so cheap it's peaked my interest, part of me wants to wait another year as the S21 Ultra is still a perfectly good phone, the idea of the new battery (not one with almost 2 years of degradation) and more efficient CPU meaning longer battery life even if the 21 had a new battery has me wondering if it's worth just pulling the trigger. Gonna watch some videos on S-Pen uses, having it included and integrated may sway if any of the uses can be useful to me.

The contradt and clarity are pretty noticeable in person with images to me on the s23 ultra over the s21 ultra. Its so so crispy now.

No S Pen on board and Samsung updates wrecking performance made me sell the S21 Ultra I had. Some things I did prefer on it were the 16gb of ram, the rounded corners, and camera bump was more sturdy.
I use a stylus pen. Works pretty well.

Compare the phones in 12 months when the S23 is optimized in software and better firmware updates. The S23 has only just come out and not even optimized. Its like the latest graphics cards, never optimized at released

I really loved my 21 ultra...but i was getting a bit bored with it...but man this s23 ultra is really really an upgrade on every level..what u don't hear these videos talk about is the extra settings and features on the s23 ultra..for example if u turn ur s23 ultra all the way up,,there's a feature that u can make it louder..the same with brightness..thats just two to ..there's a few more
What they do need is to go back to flat screen instead of the curved screen. I miss when it was flat and the curved was only on the Edge line
I had S21Ultra Exynos now S23U Snapdragon. Way way better performance, stays cooler, way longer battery usage etc etc. I prefer the design of the S23U aswell over the S21U (not saying S21U is ugly)
I personally love the s23 ultras design the boxy shape and camera set up is gold for me
Hey I just got the s21ultra (450, renewed cond. "Good") and I'm trying to buy a case and the case I'm sort of settling on is one that comes with the S Pen but before I hit buy I read the comments and reviews and people are saying that there's some kind of difference with the pen
I still have the Spigen case with pen. The pen worked fine. If you were local, I'd sell it cheap

Resolution is different because the screen is not the same, you will see no differences

Two very different phones with different operating systems and ecosystems. It should come down to which operating system you prefer. Maybe spend time playing with each at Best Buy if you're unsure.

I've the S21 Ultra (exynos) and the S22+ (snapdragon) irony is the former has better battery life than the latter. This makes me love my S21 Ultra more than the newer S22+

Bruh, mobile games aren't sh*t. If you want to know which has better gaming performance you have to use console emulators like dolphin, aethersx2, citra or skyline. And trust me the S23 ultra is a massive improvement over all series before it. The performance is epic where the S21 & S22 lagged on the more graphic intensive games. That's how you measure performance.

I got an s21 edge+ Ultra the day it released. Ended up getting an s23 Ultra when it dropped and ended up taking it back and rebooting my s21. Absolutely a better phone!
The S21 Ultra looks almost exactly like my S9+, which I will soon be trading in when my S23 Ultra arrives. If my decision turns out to be a terrible one, I am considering the S21 Ultra as a back up or a Note 9.

I laugh at everyone saying the s21 ultra is better when i have both right now and its def not better. Consurmers are funny they just ahve to say things to feel better about not getting the newest thing. Also vuys thw s23 ultra is a good bit brighter so the camera blows ot out a bit the saturation on the s23 is actually better also. Colors pop that much more. You have to use both phones daily and you will realize its a much bigger difference rhen expected with the no hiccups or glitches or any lagging everything stays open when it should all of these things add up. I've yet to have a hiccup with my s23 ultra the s21 ultra honest users will tell you it isn't perfect.

In fact, the S21 ultra has 12GB of REAL physical RAM vs S23 ultra which uses a swap file to virtualize ram (8GB physical + 4-8GB swap file) more ram which is slower!!! BOOO FOR S23 ULTRA!!!
