@hellsfavoritesaltyberserke4724 It doesn't suck, what are you basing your opinion on? I've seen the switch from TouchWiz to One UI and all One UI versions since 1.0 . The current OS is the smoothest, most consistent ever.
I have an S23U (Temp) and I usually use my S21U. Even with older hardware One UI 6.0 is smooth & it doesn't lag or stutter.
Your either just unlucky or your talking out of your ass, respectfully.

The note 20 ultra and s21 ultra has been around $370-$420 for over a year. It's pretty weird that there is no price drop at all for 18 months
In my country some people have a form of fascination with the Note 20 Ultra so the price does not drop. A while ago I sold one for almost $500 even though it had been used for a while. And what's more, it was one that used the Exynos chip and therefore had a crappy battery. But it must be believed that this smartphone has a fascination for some. A smartphone salesman told me that people liked it because it was the last Note, which is ridiculous from my point of view since I consider the S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra and s24 Ultra to be Notes
The s21 ultra and note 2oultra are the last of their kind before the merge, so yes, it holds that value.

Good review. But for me I'm sticking with my s21 ultra the 24 ultra doesn't bring enough change for me to consider it a worthy upgrade. I do like the update cycle increase for the software but that's it. If I had this or note 20 ultra I'd not upgrade.
How’s the battery hours
@RAJPUROHIT-nq4pj with my s21 ultra depending on usage I can get up to 7 or 8 hrs and change. But it's all in usage because the battery is great.
The S21 Ultra was so far the best phone I ever had.
Recently, the display had a hardware malfunction and I am thinking about using my warranty money to get the s24 ultra.
Part of me is also considering to just get a new S21 Ultra and save money.
I never had any issues with that phone before and I've been using it for almost 4 years now
The s21 ultra has the best Zoom, even better than s23 ultra, i dont know why samsung has been downgrading their Zoom quality every year. However, when i compared the s23 ultra to the s24 ultra, the 10× on s24 ultra is better. The s24 ultra is the 2ⁿᵈ best in zoom but the s21 ultra is still the zoom king
yeah, but the zoom brings bad quality, no detail. Even on a tripod with remote it still is not good for me.
@markmcandrews1703 Like I said, even 3 years later, s21 ultra has the best zoom on a smartphone. Even with the 50MP parascope lens, the s21 ultra has better zoom at 30× and 100×, they should've used the 200MP crop to give you detailed 3× zoom and the 3× zoom should've been replaced with 5× while the 10× parascope zoom should've stayed and still be 50MP that us what I'd call an upgrade, 50MP 5× is okay move not an upgrade, I say 200MP is large enough to give decent 3× and 4× Zoom

Matthew's Tech the ONLY channel on You Tube telling the truth about these phones. Every other channel will always just try to sell the new model. They give ya a bunch of new numbers but don't show in real World use a comparison. This channel shows the real life comparison and as yall can see there's very little difference to justify "upgrading" all the time.
The only issue in s21u is the battery life and overheating issue. They fixed is it in s24u. In my opinion that is the major upgrade from s21u to s24u. Camera hardware and software for me they are still minor changes, just improving image quality yearly in every model. But the design and built quality still a preference to the user. I still love the design of s21u due to its curve edges rather than the boxy feels of s24u. They both have vibrant screen panel and bezeless design!❤ nice comparision👍
Personally I used the S8 +, the S9 +, the S10 +, the S 20 ultra, the S 21 Ultra, the S22 Ultra, the S23 Ultra as well as the Note 8, the Note 9, the Note 10 +, the Note 20 Ultra. I think the best of these smartphones is the S23 Ultra. I'm currently using it and I don't want to change it at the moment. Regarding the S21 Ultra, I liked it but I find that it is no match for the S23 Ultra. And for the moment the S24 Ultra doesn't speak to me especially since many Artificial Intelligence features will be available in a few months. However, if someone is comfortable with the S21 ultra they don't have to change. I wasn't satisfied, that's why I changed smartphones so often even though I used the Note 9 until I had a green screen and the Smartphone no longer worked (Several people had this problem with some Samsung smartphones)! So I will never pay for a Note 9 again. I was offered one not so long ago but I refused.

I wanted a smartphone with a good battery, an excellent camera, excellent performance, etc. The S23 Ultra perfectly meets my expectations, which is why I don't want to change. I forgot to even say that I used a Z fold 4 for a while, an S21+ and an S20 fe (but the last two were stolen). Yes, sometimes people stole my smartphones and so it was an opportunity for me to test other smartphones. But as the S24 Ultra doesn't speak to me I'm going to try to see this year's Folds in the hope of finding what I'm looking for.
You're right about that battery s21 ultra chews through some battery, and I don't think I have it on quad HD display either

i have the QUALCOMM s21 ultra and it's still great. It doesn't get past warm. The S24 Ultra is better but as a third iteration since S21U is not worth the upgrade yet. Thanks for the upload.

Thanks so much for this! 1 week in, and I see a major difference in running cooler / not overheating. The camera is underwhelming compared to my S21U. The circle-to-search looks like it will be valuable. I got the deal through my carrier for $5/mo with trade (3 years), so I'm happy with it. At higher cost it would have been disappointing. The biggest thing I can't understand is the fascination they have with the square corners. Much less comfortable than the S21U, even with a case.
I totally agree with you(and I am a Samsung Knight). There just isn't enough here to warrant an upgrade (holding on to my S23 ultra).
Lol😂 if u ever switch from s23 ultra to S24ultra, then u have lots of money to play with. The s24ultra is just an update, not an upgrade! Even the s22 ultra is better now compared to when it was launched!
Honestly cant go wrong with the s21 ultra.. till this day it holds up well!! Honestly, my favorite looking design out of all of them, wish they kept the same or similar design in the other ones. I know eventually would have to upgrade but for now im still happy with my s21 ultra, & the technology is still pretty much the same. Not missing out on much!

My S21 Ultra just got the new update with some AI features and circle to search. It's a solid device. Everything is holding great, I'll wait for the s25 ultra to (maybe) upgrade, otherwise I'm just replacing the battery
Next should be s22 ultra which started the s pen combination
The only reason I upgraded is because Verizon was running a $1000 off deal if you trade in an old phone in any condition. I had a S10+ with a broken screen and that's what I traded in. I'm keeping my S21 Ultra and using it when I fly my drones. The S24 is pretty sick though.

A little correction regarding the S Pen, there are differences, for example on the S21 Ultra you can't use the S Pen as a remote shutter.

As a note, you can screen capture on Samsung with the sidebar tools and then Google search the screen shot. This is similar to the circle feature you showed earlier.

Now, I think that if you have an S22 or an S23, it is not worth the change because all the artificial intelligence features will reach these devices. I don't know if that will be the case in the S21! but where I saw a lot of difference is in the quality of the photos and videos between the s21 and s24! There is a big improvement on the s24 in that regard! I imagine there will also be a significant improvement in overheating and battery life.

Thanks for the vid. Have had my S21 Ultra for 3 years, and besides the battery not lasting as long as it used to, it's still in perfect shape. Been itching to upgrade, but I'll probably hold off. If I did, I'd probably go for the S24+ just because I like the curved corners.

Battery life on s21u might be not as good as the s24u , but still good enough. I have the s21u configured to save battery life with some tricks I found online and I limit the charging to 85% and it still holds for a while day with a lot of use

Had S21U for 2.5 years and dropped in beach accidents and it just stopped working bought a iPhone 12 to use. But now need to get the either S24 plus or S23u. Loved te size of S21U. So not sure which one to get now. How does 24U fit in jeans? I mean with a case I may just have to buy a S24 plus. Great video

The day before yesterday I bought a used S23 Ultra with 512 GB of space. And I can say that its edges sting my palm. And somehow I miss the S21 Ultra.

I'm looking at both phones and actually paid more for the 21 than the 24 Ultra because of the VZW promo (I bought the earlier phone with cash because it was an emergency). I've done the smart switch, but haven't activated the 24U yet: I think I like the old phone BETTER 😐Definitely like the curved edges better. But I was sold on the anti-glare screen and that really is nice. I'm torn: send the new one back? (The new one runs cooler, has the 512G storage). I'm at an impasse rn. But overall ITA: it's *comparable* and really, it shouldn't be comparable for the 3 year older model.
(Is it any wonder VZW was throwing in tablets and watches "free" with the $1000 off retail deal? It's NOT worth the upgrade, really.)
well im jumping from 21u to 24u. 3 years with s21u since i know my self,every 2y im getting new phone... S24u should bring some fun,since that my S21u was exinos. Always loved my s21u,it works great,but after few big crashes on the floor,some noice apeared when im shaking my fone. Well great phone owerall,but im jumping to new. Hope it can handle 2 years:)
I have S21 Ultra, and I can say S24 Ultra has a much better battery(comparing when S21U was just bought), and 10x zoom is also better, its much lighter in any conditions and has more details. Also in night S24U takes photos much faster and in night mode it takes 1 second instead of 3-5 on S21U.
I just recently upgraded from the 21 ultra to the 24 ultra and as much as I love my 21 ultra I def love the 24 ultra better 😊

I have the exynos (yuck, I know) version of the S21 U and it is still fast, but is lagging with Good Lock and when I multi-task.
It is also sadly falling apart and the battery life is dismal, it was never good on this version but almost three years have also taken a toll on it, so I will be upgrading this year to the S24 U, I wanted to wait for the S25, but oh well

Thanks for the review. I m proud owner of s21 ultra... Unfortunately recently it started to drop signals and I need to change. My delima is that if I look for any recent non-ultra phone, I feel like I already own a better one and it feels like a downgrade... great video man. thanks for this. despite the 128gb vs 256gb in the storage, i see nearly no reason to spend 1000 dollars extra on a phone now. s21 ultra is a legendary phone and itll continue to last, it looks like. unless you care a lot about software updates

S21 front camera shots destroys S24... Selfie and close up shots and smooth video recording goes to S24 but seriously all I do with my phone is to take regular photos (not cringy loser selfies) and upload to insta. Phone = Camera. I'm definitely keeping my S21

Having used the both models, there is almost no difference, but really none.
The only difference is that the Snapdragon model is slightly better in night video.
