I have a Note 10 Plus as a backup phone and an S23 Ultra as my main phone. It's crazy how well it holds up in today's world. It's unfortunate that it won't get any new android versions, as it's more than capable.
it can run more than 5yrs from now for sure as long as you replace the battery with new one.

Solid content - it took me 2 weeks watching your videos back and forth to see if I wanted to upgrade from my S10+. Found a great deal on a S21 Ultra double check how much space I use... roughly around 90GB... so I really wasn't using the sd card. Bought the stylus and an additional spigen case. I would have gotten the S21+ had it not been for the lousy efficiency of the snapdragon 888 (vs the Sd 865, and even the 845), the missing magnetic strip transmitter, and missing Sd card slot. That display, and cameras make up for it somewhat.
@@MarcABrown-tt1fp I still think the S10+ is the best phone that I have had for all around... I really wanted the dual sim for travel. On my all-time list it just edged out the S7 that I had forever haha. I still am digging the S21 ultra - unfortunately was not able to get the 21+ at the time. I will say while traveling I rarely get 5G... so the S10+ I could have still used it for longer.

It's worth mentioning that vibration is extremely poor on S23 Ultra. I "upgraded" from Note10+ and just can't believe how soft it is. Set on max on S23 U, it's weaker then 1/5 on Note10+. As it was problem on last years S22U, I guess it's Samsungs way to say "hey, buy our smart watch, you'll miss no notifications with it"

I've always used Note phones since I switched from IPhones. Still on Note 10 plus. Was tempted to upgrade when my trade-in made the 23 Ultra $200. I just didn't want to trade because of SD card. I rather keep it and use it for media. I still use photo shop. My Note 3 doubles as a media player and remote with the IR sensor. Other Notes are security cameras and smart sensors. My headphone jack Notes for music.
The whole no SD card blows. I like being able to not rely on downloading & data connection for media consumption. I have hundreds of movies & 100,000 songs for when I DJ.
I absolute agree we are the same i have NOTE 10+ because of STORAGE of media movies and music and (portable hardrive and portable tablet with pen) because of 1tb micro sd and 256gb internal.... With partner of my Mini iphone 13 for small phone ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

@@kostaskintzios1198 yew awful cam design, but it still takes great photos, and I still get a SD card slot, a little longer and wider lol, not short and stubby like the s23 Ultra, when I bought mine I got earphones, and a charger in box, top that lol. Plus I get the pride of always having the last Note ever. Note 10+ was going to be the one I bought but the Note 20 Ultra was on sale at the time.

@@kostaskintzios1198 well I don't think even from the 10+ is a worthy upgrade just yet. If I had a 10 plus I'd feel comfortable waiting another year or so. With my Note 20 Ultra I'm comfortable waiting another 2 years or so.
It would be interesting to do a CPU load test, particularly on the S21, S22 AND S23 ultra versions to see how they handle CPU throttling and heat with their latest software updates.
Many ppl doing reviews of these phones don't talk really about how heavily the S22 and 21 Ultra dramatically throttle (and which the S23 Ultra barely does), which is something very important if you do serious multitasking on the phone or are a hardcore gamer
Note 10+ is probably my all time favorite, replaced it twice. It's up there with the Note 4 from back in the day lol. So far loving the 23 Ultra also, top 3 already.
Note 10+ was my favorite Android phone, used it longer than any Android phone I have owned. I get rid of my Samsung phones when they are close to running out of support. Just sold my S20 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra and kept my S21 Ultra since it has years of updates left. I am a Monday to Friday iPhone user for work then Android for play. I have 2-3 phones in rotation at all times. Sold my Pixel recently too, I am more of a Samsung fan than Google.
Still rocking the glow and use it a good 8 hours at work in you tube with about 32% on battery when I get home .Great comparison vid

dont know why people complain about boxy design that edges poked their palms. its not like its a knife that poked their hands. its not even that big deal it doesnt inflict pain so why?. boxy design looks way better looks more premium. we are in era almost all phones are 2 handed device so its only natural to use it with 2 hands so when they use 2 hands how is it still poking their hands? doesnt make sense
Hey Matthew I have a note 10 plus the 1x camera is constantly blurry any fix a tried everything but the problem still comes back after a hour or so

My favorite samsung ever made was thw s6edge+. It was perfect! Display lookes better then any new display on the market right now even when watching videos. Idk why or how but this new brightness thing is killing the image imo. But i did get an s23 ultra and its very nice!

I must say the s20 ultra looks the cheapest and has the ugliest design and especially the ugliest back on pretty much any smartphone that ever existed.
Either ways I don't know why the s20 ultra and even the s21 ultra looks cheaper than even the note 10+ I don't know the narrow aspect ratio makes the device look cheaper and more like a remote and especially the s20 ultra felt like a 21:9 because of the drastic curve with the already very narrow aspect ratio giving us less screen, while the s22 ultra and s23 ultra is smaller by 0.1" but in real life it feels like your getting more screen on the s22 ultra and s23 ultra other than the less curve the 2-3㎜ wider aspect ratio just makes it look so much more screen while length wise unless u don't stack them side by side the s20 ultra doesn't feels taller.

I absolutely adore the S21 Ultra. I've been using mine for a year now, and I have no intention of upgrading. But hey, take my opinion with a grain of salt because I'm the kind of person who keeps using a phone until it starts slowing down or is on the verge of dying.

S21 Ultra phantom navy 512 gigs, s22 and s23 ultras both are 1 Terabyte.
The S21 Ultra by far is the phone with the best speakers. S23 Ultra is definetely better than the 22 but not the same as the 21.

Unless you're a " power" user the note 10 plus is still a beast !!! Its essentially the blueprint of their most successful phone design. I will probably use it this one last year and see what they have to offer by 2024. Beerus still the O.G.!!!

I really wish they can put 6000mAh battery as we have been seeing 5000mAh for 4 years now and yes the newer chip makes a significant difference in battery but to be the battery king and below the iPhone another than even more optimization having a 6000mAh will make samsing the battery king and considering 5000mAh has been the standard for years and even cheap budget phones have 5000mAh they need to push it with the 6000mAh. The s23 should be around 4700-5000mAh s23+ should be around 5200-5400mAh and the ultra should be around 6000-6400mAh, the s23/s23+ should have super fast charging 2.0 at 45w and the s23 ultra should've been super fasting charging 3.0 at 65w amd the s23 ultra should gotten 50MP selfie camera instead of a downgrade and I don't know what happened to removing the chin.
The phones will be nearly a centimeter thick and these are flagship phones, not mid-range phones, their design has to look good
@@venator7889 they can just increase the aspect ratio from 19.3:9 to 18.5:9-19:9 and make the phone 0.1mm thicker which would flush in the cameras and would make the use of spen easier. To be honest with u I'd rather have a slightly bulker phone than have a smaller battery. Speaking spen this phone is thick enough to fit s21 ultra sized spen so they should give us the s21 ultra sized spen which is more comfortable to use while this spen kinda feels like a toothpicks.
We need Samsung to work on the quick settings panel more refined, we want a more realistic looking app icon not cartoonishly, more robust animations and smoother experience with more optimized apps. And maybe one day Samsung would eventually work better on their galaxy store and build more optimized and robust apps in it and maybe fully have an ecosystem not a google/Samsung one. That’s my point of view.
The s21 Ultra and the s20 ultra, falls a bit back as those 2 models did NOT have the S-pen.
The note 10 +, Note 20 Ultra, s22 Ultra and s23 Ultra are all crazy good phones.
But the s21 Ultra and the s20 ultra, isn't same with missing the S-pen.
s20 ultra and s21 ultra was Samsung's test devices ( to quit note and just do Ultra ).
I just went from my note 10+ to a S21 ultra... Got it for $350...I was going to jump on the s23 ultra but being so close to the s24 coming out.. I'll wait... I'm sure when the s24 comes out ill get way more back from Samsung in trade in value for my S21 ultra than I paid for it.

For be there has to be something MAJOR for me to come off my S21u. I just like the design form better (the rounded edges, the glass curve, the camera bump is the best Samsung design to date) and the performance difference from Note 20U on up is just not noticeable in day to day use. I'm still happy with the pictures I took with my HTC One and Galaxy S10.

i believed note10plus would still run 6more years granted you would change the battery now and reformat it every 2 years to clear temp file and trash files that cleaning app werent able to remove

The s10 and note 10 series will get another year of security patch and the s20 and note 20 series are going to get 2 years of security patch not 3 because the s21 series will he unsupported in 2 years and take over the security patch stage by late next year which is just under 2 more os updates.

Coming from a Note 10+ user, probably not. Battery life is not that great and overall performance wise it is not the best option right now, as Matthews said, probably the best old flagship to buy would be the s21 ultra

Wrong! The s22 ultra is better than the s21 easily, the s23 is a minor improvement over the s22 though

S22 ultras speakers are trash, there are some shots where the s22 is better and some where the s21 was better so not a consistent upgrade in the camera department, also has hdr video brightness issues the same as the s23 ultra does but s21 doesn't have that problem. I've literally had all 3 so know exactly what im talking about. I'm guessing you own an s22 ultra and can't afford the upgrade hence why you're trying to make yourself feel better by telling yourself it's a "minor upgrade" when it really isn't lol

@@mac8669I have an S22 Ultra and I have to say that S23 Ultra would NOT be just a minor upgrade. It would be a MAJOR one. Even if their design is almost the same, the internal part is WAY much better in an S23 Ultra. If you don't understand why, check out the differences between the battery life and the image/video processing on the Exynos 2200 and on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. I mean, I love my S22 Ultra with all of its weaker points as well, but I know that S23 Ultra is simply on another level. That's the ULTIMATE, it is literally a flawless model, a pure piece of perfection.
The only thing that keeps me from upgrading is the price. The S23 Ultra 12/256 costs DOUBLE (~699k HUF) as much as the S22 Ultra 12/256 (359k HUF). This pricing difference is simply INSANE and IMHO no smartphone should EVER cost over 500k HUF unless it has a MINIMUM (!!!) of 1 terabyte internal storage and at least 12 gigs of RAM. 699k for only 256 GB internal storage without SD card slot just makes no sense at all.
