Serving instead of always trying to sell is one of the best things you can do as an entrepreneur. I have heard this same message on a podcast for women entrepreneurs a few days ago and from my mentor at the local SBA!! Three different professional and successful sources with the same message. I feel like I’ve been let in on a huge secret. Thank you for all you do, Julie

Sounds like God is trying to tell you something if you heard it so many times in such a short amount of time. What knowledge to you hold, people would love to learn. Start by telling that.

I truly believe in what you are saying. In a super competitive, sometimes greedy world, being a humble down to earth entrepreneur is like a breath of fresh air to viewers. We are constantly bombarded with marketing motivated by the bottom line rather than being relatable or making connections with people. The US needs more of this right now instead of what is happening in the media. Thank you for sharing this. I have learned so much through live videos and how to grow a business without just focusing on the sale or the bottom line. It’s about people, not money.

I love how much logic and compassion you have expressed in your suggestions. There is truly amazing inspiration and motivation I received from your advice. I'm not personally a wreath person but may have just become a super fan. Thankyou and thumbs up.

I really appreciate your philosophy of building each other up, and you are right...there truly is enough business to go around. So why not share with each other, learn from each other, and work together! Blessings on you! Thanks again. Debbie

Had to pause the video for my fist comment because I loved what you were saying so much. Now I have to comment again because your ending message spoke serious volumes to the crafting industry and humanity as a whole. All I can say is YES & Amen! Magnificant lesson!

I started listening to this and when you got to the part of your husband loving the Steelers, oh did I shout with excitement!!! I am an obsessed Steeler's fan, born and raised there. Ok, enough of that, I understand where you're coming from with this video and want to say a big thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to freely give great advice.

I am trying to start up a store for artwork made by people with disabilities. Is there a place I can get more instruction in getting things started?

I could not agree with you more.
I was a travel agent for over a decade and over half of my clients were repeats or referrals. Once you have someone, you don't have to work as hard.
And treat everyone the same no matter if they purchased a $10 bow or $200 wreath. You never know who that $10 person knows.
One of my best customers were 2 sisters out of Florida who took a couple of cheap cruises a couple of times a year. They never spent much because they were successful medical transcriptionists. So who did they know? Doctors and nurses. They passed out my cards and told everyone about their vacation and how I took care of them. My biggest booking was a 350 person group cruise. One of the nurses was in charge of her hs reunion and decided to go a cruise. All because I was nice to someone who didn't spend much money.
And I loved teaching about travel to new agents. I never saw them as a competitor. There is no way I could book every cruise. Likewise I can't make every wreath out there.
And thank you. I have a notebook and I'm taking notes for when I'm ready to start.
