I've got a degree in information systems from a prestigious school, and had an IT job right after graduating. Most of my classmates were impressed and thought highly of me; however, I soon felt unimportant and stagnant in my personal growth. I felt that I was a dime a dozen in making a difference in the organization.
Eight months later, I quit the company and started my own businesss. I like to say that facing your fears will yield you freedom. I'm still going through the struggle of building multiple businesses, but it's worth it. Manifest your own destiny and build your own dream, not someone else's.

Now that I think about it more and more.... starting a business with your girl really does strengthen your relationship. Its just hard to find a person that is willing to take risks and not that safe life. Everything around you is encouraging you to live safe and if you take that route you'll probably end up regretting it later on.

About a year ago I came across this video and I was immediately won over by this guy, I remember being fixed on the screen agreeing with Everything he was saying. In the following weeks I would occasionally watch a new video that Pat would post and eventually subscribed because the value on this channel is immeasurable. Last December I decided that I was going to go to the very beginning and watch every single one of his videos and I'm finally back here. I can safely say that my whole demeanour has changed both through the impact these videos have made on me as well as the books I'm reading and the discipline I'm carving in all areas of my life. I am genuinely excited about what I'm going to learn from the rest of his videos. Pat I can't thank you enough for the impact you've had on my life these last few months and I hope to gain more from you as time goes by. Maybe we'll cross paths someday.

Just like Tai Lopez, people like Patrick know how to use social media to sell the idea of success and happiness, which is good since probably that is one of his strengths - motivational speaking. Being an entrepreneur is really challenging, but Patrick proves that with whatever set of skills you have you can be successful if used correctly toward your goals.

Very good idea. Introducing kids to careers and work instead of friends, love and school is actually a good way to go nowadays. School teaches you to just, like Patrick says "Follow what everyone else is doing, take orders (homework, tests and assignements) and be compared to everyone else in this room who are completely different people... I began working in the first years of high school and I can tell any student that work is NOT taking orders and doing it exactly, instead it's the new ideas that foster a good business.

Am 18 years old and just started college, but his videos really make you change your ideas about life. I honestly never thought college was the ultimate goal in life. I always wanted (like how he said) be happy. We all look for happiness in our life we all want the best we can get. For me that has always been the key to success you have to do what you love if you do that you will be successful in anything you chose to do. It dosen't matter if its just selling something on the street or starting a "whatever" company. Happiness is what we do, if your happy doing that go for it there is only on life so be happy doing the things that you love to do.

To anyone who had a recruiter send them this video:
    - Did they expect you to watch it within a short timeframe, to prove your ability to prioritize?
    - Did they imply they had a job opening, then slowly reveal that this was more about "learning to build wealth"?
    - Did they tell you not to listen to your friends and family, and not to trust your internet research?
    - Is their name Maylon?
If you answered yes to any of the above, you're probably being "recruited" into a multi-level marketing scheme.
(No offense to the maker of this video or those watching it; to be honest, I haven't watched it myself. But I had a "recruiter" string me along for a bit, and this is the only place I know where I can reach out to others he's trying to manipulate.)

This is wonderful content. The part about having an impact on our kids really got me. I retired at 25 became a millionaire at 28 then became depressed. I called my mentor and the last two words he told me were, "give back." Then he slammed the phone on me. I devoted my life to giving back and now teach other entrepreneurs and help them achieve their goals. Life felt kind of meaningless after getting a little bit of success so young in life. It's important to pull people up to the top with you that want it. When we die all of our graves are still the same size. Let's help people while we are here.

You made me realized that we are "people" becoming a pack of sheep that follow each others without questioning the purpose or the goal of life ! I look at the majority of retired people and i wonder is this is the life i want to have at this age?
Very Sad that fear is injected to us by the society!

I once read that everything changed during the Industrial Revolution. Prior to that, husbands and wives and whole families worked together, generation after generation, since the beginning of time. Makes a lot of sense.

Ah I remember seeing this video... light bulb moment was when you asked as a company for me to give you 30 years of my time.
I’ve sold myself short to gain experience, and often business owners exploit that often the carrot dangles and the promises don’t materialise. That’s why I took a pay it in the first place and an informed decision was made.
I am tired of being exploited and is one of the main reasons I leave the business.
To now get your over experienced and don’t have the right qualifications.
The goal posts continue to keep being moved.
Even had an interviewer say to me, how is it an employable person is not able to get employment, which then made him paranoid.
The thing is, I started to realise my worth and that of time which is of course is priceless.

I fxxking love you Patrick, you're so wise, and a great host, i love to see your shows. You have people on your show than no other person can get too, how do you do it...??
Is it a level of respect for your professionalism, or do it have too do with that you have lawyers, and all is in place, so they fell secured..??
