@@trumancarter1299 I tried yesterday dlx and plus, and I just couldn't decide which one to take. Plus for me has a better sound and dlx is a bit softer and easier to play. Difference is 400 euros and I am playing like, once in a couple of mounths so I decided to go with a Plus. I am sooo excited about getting it and I must say that I like how the guy in this video plays a lot, so i played a lot yesterday, so I hope 214 ce plus will keep me motivated. 🖐
You'll love it..I own an old USA 314 model that's the absolute best but the 214 plus holds it's own very well and most definitely has the Taylor sound..worth every penny..mine came pretty perfect out of the box but I like my action a little lower and it was a breeze of an adjustment..very easy to play
@@trumancarter1299 I agree with you there, it's not like I play a Strat, but similar 😅 I cannot remember when i was so excited last time about the guitar...
Yo tengo una y no hay quien me diga que el sonido es extraordinario y mas en vivo conectada. I have one and no one can tell me that the sound is extraordinary and even more so live conected.
Hey Nick, thoughtful overview and terrific playing with the 214ce Plus. Was your fingerpicking interlude yours, or a published song? Would love to track down the music. Cheers.
Fair point, lol...but having played for about 25 years, this is about the floor for truly high quality acoustic in the Taylor lineup, which is gold standard in my book. I honestly wouldn't buy anything else. There are "good guitars" you can get for 700-800, but they really don't compare.
I just ordered one 😍
You won't regret it I promise

great presentation
The picking starting at 5:08 is beautiful !
This demo is the best recorded I've heard, great micing technique.

At the end, I guess you played Drop D tuning DADGBE
What song are you playing at 3:50?
It’s a variation on one of my songs:

$1300 isn’t an entry level guitar lol
It is for Taylor
Acoustics are freaking expensive bro. $1300 gets you a lot

It's HARD to be Taylors for sound & playability!
