I really hope they are not limited in the future. It's just makes sense for somesome stepping up from a beginner guitar to have a grand concert option.
Thanks to your review I just bought a Taylor 322ce 12 fret. I'm in the UK so I can't buy from you but I love your channel. I have been a Martin and Furch player for years but these Taylors are stellar. Thanks guys
Interesting that Taylor would reserve the 222ce for Koa. Wonder what they could they do to offer a mahogany configuration? 122 and 124? Perhaps they feel they have that covered off with AD22 albeit with all solid wood?
Loved my 214ce as well , and still love my old Bigbaby, I have an 814ce , but completely different critters , that Koa is sweet..........and my grand concert is a 652ce, so nice
Somebody could help me in this? - Which one is more bassy, 112ce or 212.ce? I know that laminated backs sort of neutralize tone, still though, some sources show 212 as being more bassy and 112 more midrange(y).
Both were great sounding. I’d probably choose the 212 over the compressiveness of the koa. But it’s a really beautiful guitar, and that compression would likely be easy to live with. Perfect presentation and analysis. What would I like to see in a 200 level? Maybe a GP in a burst would be interesting.
Nice voicing. I like the voice of the 212ce and the looks of the 222ce. I'm not giving up my unsigned Chris McKee signature 914ce model. Still REALLY like Cooper's green Alamo ball cap. Thanks, Chris and Cooper
I bought a 222ce and didn't realize it had smaller nut width and it didn't bother me at all. Now that I'm aware of it does feel a little tighter. But I still love this guitar.
Did you watch the video at all? They say that these guitars are Grand Concert versions of the two grand auditorium models that have been around for 5 years. Those are the ones you’re talking about.
I have a Taylor 224ce K DLX I’ve had like 2 months and I love it.
I like when Cooper plays- he has Skills
What is even happening after 11:58 once the pick drops.... Those are some serious guitar-playing skills!

Hey Chris when are we going to see you play again 1:52

There was a 555 12 string jumbo a long time ago! 😊
I was thinking I imagined that but I’m glad someone else confirmed it 👍🏻
Cooper why aren’t you put their touring . You are so versatile 😅 14:34

what song did he demo on the the 212? I want to learn it!

the description of the one I bought says it's full hoa top back and sides. Not Layered. Did they recently update it??
Important to note, the 212ce is now walnut back and sides, and the 212ce plus is rosewood

Wow, Cooper is fantastic. Cooper, what is your main guitar?
He got 214ce base. Same with i got. 😉👍
Koa, Sorry for the misspelling

Canadian viewers may call the 222 the Deux Deux Deux, which has a bit of a seedy background to it. Just ask Chris Berman.
Hello good video ! but what is the weight of this guitars ? 212ce et 222ce i like lightweight guitar !
Why? Why 1 11/16" nut width? I would love to buy a Mexican made Taylor but they need to change to 1 3/4" please.
Yeah...I think I concur
I bought a 222ce and didn't realize it had smaller nut width and it didn't bother me at all. Now that I'm aware of it does feel a little tighter. But I still love this guitar.
I need the narrow neck/nut width so I can only buy the Mexican versions (I've had several)
Will those tops open up later and sound better ???
I've had a 224-k-dlx for 6 years and it definitely opens up with time. Keeps getting better!
222 sounds more better to me😎
Taylor beelzebub special. It's hot.
Order that 666, just in time for all hollows eve. I just wont play it in church. 😮😮😮
$2,000 for a 200 series guitar shows just how out of control guitar pricing has become since Covid.
i had a hard time dropping 1500 back 5 yrs ago for layered sides
Limited Edition? These guitars been about over 5years at the time of this post.
