Witnessing someone for the first time feel Led Zeppelin in their soul is the best! It's a wonderful feeling isn't it? Welcome to the club and enjoy the ride✌❤
We had to wait, and wait for the next Zeppelin album. This lucky bum can binge listen to all their music. There's so much more to Zeppelin than "Whole Lotta Love". Hands down, the Rock band with the greatest amount of Power in their music. Hasn't been copied or equaled in all the years since. Their music is as fresh and enjoyable to new listeners as it was in the 60's and 70's.
It was my first ever album I bought! Cranked my windows open on a first Spring day,in my first apartment, and let this blow at top volume! I’m 74 yrs. And still love it❤️
I'm a black man and let me tell you, when this song came out, I WAS ROCKY IT - LOUD. The best rock group song EVER. Play this song around a girl and she knows, what's on your mind. The best part on hearing this song again, was checking you out hearing it for the first time and you loving it.
@TomCommoner in the 70's segregation was big but bands like Led Zeppelin's music transcended all of that, it united people all over the world regardless what was happening at the time everyone agreed it was about the music...
"what's race....got to do with anything?' For one, you might look into how ZEPPELIN and soooo many others took songs originally done by Black artists and built upon them, sometimes word-for-word, note-for-note, and reaped tons of rewards and acclamation for material that wasn't wholly original to them from the start. THEY dug into the race thing. For two, I don't think @laduoinvestments3749 may have been pointing anything out other than ZEPPELIN appealed to audiences outside of the basically white mainstream who made up most of their audience.@TomCommoner
@@tonyakeldsen1782 youve never heard the original. And if thats your take can i come steal all your money coz i will use it with far more style than you. Theft is theft. They got sued. They had to pay. Theyve done it to others. Theyre leeches.
This young brother's eyes have been opened! Welcome to my teen years. Zeppelin was the soundtrack of my youth. Even 50+ years later, their stuff still stands up REALLY well.
I am 57 and I love watching this young mans reaction. This is my childhood, my teens, 20s and all beyond. I will never get tired of them. Awesome. I think I loved watching his reaction more than listening the LZ. This was great!
71 here, and I agree on watching the young man get initiated. When he grabbed his face in disbelief I about split my face grinning. This poor fella was😮😳 baptized in the blood of the TRUE pure rock gods. Praying he goes home and tosses his rap records, oops, CDs out for Good
Led Zeppelin is one of the most revolutionary bands in the world ! In all of time! Seriously. You’re right, they were, are and will always be special. ❤
Welcome to the huge Led Zeppelin fan club. Your reactions are exactly what we felt when we first heard this music way back when. This is why we still love it all these years later
Agree whole heaftedly with you. It takes raw and rare talent to write so many songs to life a life times. Love them. They didn't believe in copying any other artists at all.
Wouldn't it be great to hear it for the first time again? In a way, it is kind of hearing it for the first time again, every time you hear it. It is that good.
The reason you have never had a reaction like this to anything you listened to before is because Led Zeppelin was a supergroup. There was no one like them. The 4 musicians were so talented that when their drummer died, they disbanded - they couldn't bring in another person. Robert Plant's vocals were bluesy perfection and Jimmy Page was both inventive and heavy in his guitar playing. John Bonham was known as one of the best drummers in the world for his heavy, aggressive beats. And John Paul Jones played a melodic bass plus keyboards. Their music is timeless and transcendent - it feels the same today as it did in the 70's when it came out and it has this otherworldly tinge to it.
The best. Robert Plant still has it. I makw a point to see him whenever he tours. I'm a fool for the new stuff, the solo years and of course, Zeppelin. I think I've heard every song I've wanted to live except Tall, Cool One. I can die a happy lady if I ever hear him do it live for me 😂
Percussionist (as well!) Finally got to see them in St. Louis, had to sit with my boyfriend's drunk sister throwing up all night in the bathroom. Such a waste! I still hate to think about it. Threw a wake for Bonham when he passed, so harsh!
I agree, you lived that era. I'm 60 and grew up listening to them, Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Doors, Hendricks, Joplin, Stones. Etc. Real music with instruments. You were lucky to be able to seen them all. I got to see Zeppelin and Sabbath. Sad now no Rock n Roll. Just dancing.
The seventies produced the best music. These people were real. No editing, no voice modulation just pure talent. Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles and more. I went to a lot of those concerts, it was a real as it seems now. I can still remember the first time I heard surround sound from the four enormous speakers everyone had, spinning LPs in those days, that was a ritual in itself. It was mind blowing.
Jethro Tull, King Crimson... so many. It wasn't just a list of incredible bands, but the whole time and culture it created. Every time you stepped out of your house, it lifted and energized you.
I agree, thank you for being open minded! They're still playing zeppelin's music on the airwaves today, I think they always will, they are timeless. Listen to their whole album "presence" every song is great! It's one of my favorites! Other bands I could suggest are Rush, Edgar Winter (frankenstein), Jeff Beck, there are so many. Have a great day!
It's fun to see this guy discover the raw power and rock perfection that was Led Zeppelin in its prime. No one can sing like Robert Plant. No one can play the drums like John Bonham could. I think our young friend had his mind blown! Some songs never grow old.
@@MoRiley9 Except for maybe Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Eddie Van Halen, Steve Howe, Brian May, Stevie Ray Vaughan, David Gilmour and Frank Zappa. But who's counting.
As much as I like LZ, I will disagree with the singing bit, Rob Halford, David Byrne, Bruce Dickenson, Pat Benatar,,, ALL great voices with great range...
It is so funny (and enjoyable) to this old dinosaur, watching the kids discover the ancient masters of rock that we were groovin to when we were kids... and even got to see perform live... Still delivering the thunder after all these years. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Robert Plant (the vocalist you heard) is still around, still doing amazing things...
Imagine our joy when we find an old fuddy duddy and blow his mind with something fresh and equally good. Pretending music died is the saddest and most pathetic form of generational arrogance.
Every time younger kids say “these boomers” in a disrespectful way, just think of this, we were fed this incredible music since our early teens. Very very blessed.
"Sensation in my Soul". No truer words were ever spoken by someone listening to 'The Mighty, Mighty LED ZEPPELIN'. So happy for you, young man. They are my favorite band of all time. ❤
“I’m not gonna lie…this is like the best band I ever heard!” I commend you GoldenChildRy for opening your ears and mind to Led Zeppelin. There’s hope for younger generations! Loved your reaction! ❤
I was a teenager in the 70s---------during COVID, my daughter decided to listen to the 100 greatest albums of all time. When she was done, she said she was so jealous cause I got to be a teenager during the greatest decade of music---and she's right, between the rock, the R&B, the country rock, disco, punk and beginning of rap, etc....---the singer/songwriters....yeah.....and they were still playing a lot of the 1960s music---great decade to be a teenager.
Was there for the whole ride, starting in 1964 at age 6 watching The Beatles on Ed Sullivan, Even at six years of age, I knew this was something special.
I love watching people who are very different from myself physically (me being an OWL) learning about and appreciating the excellent music of our generation. Even people from other countries....music truly is universal. It affects us all in some kind of way.
I saw them in 1972 in Rochester, NY and my ticket was $3.50. No opening act, just pure Zepp for 2 1/2 hours. They played Black Dog and Stairway to Heaven before they were even recorded.
as a 70 year old, decades long fan of Led Zeppelin, I congratulate you on discovering this awesome band. As a suggestion, there are many other songs that they've done which would blow your socks off. To mention just a couple: Stairway to Heaven, Immigrant Song, Good Times/Bad Times, Dazed and Confused. Loved your reaction. New sub.
@@lisaevan4236I know my kids know all there songs and I saw them at age 4 when my parents couldn’t get a babysitter for what ended up being their last tour together . I can remember it like yesterday.
Young man thank you for listening to the music I grew up with and also appreciating the sheer brilliance of Led Zep......never to be repeated again, what a time it was.
It's also fantastic seeing that I am not alone in blasting their music in my house in my late 60's. I never hear other houses on the block rocking out. My husband said he can hear our speakers from the driveway with the windows and doors closed. I love it. Think about the banging concerts when we cross over. No parking to contend with and the concerts will be free!!!! Holy crap the Stones tickets were going for about 300.00 each. We can't afford that. I hope they film the concert and show it on TV. I have seen the Stones a few times back in the day.
Thank you! You had this 65yr lady smiling ear to ear at your mindblowing discovery. Stairway to Heaven is still one of their biggest hits if you want to listen to another one.
@karendimaggio7512 - I know exactly what you mean. I'll be 60 in January, and I was laughing and singing along. He kept stopping the video at all the wrong places. Lol. My ex is such a big fan that they're all he ever listened to. So when our son was born he would sleep right through the music.

This is the coolest thing about the internet and music...people from around the world and different generations, appreciating each others music. Rock on!
I just want to tell you about the lyrics “back door man” he’s not talking about the backside, Robert plant wrote other lyrics that go “ I open my front door, I hear my back door slam” meaning there’s another man in the house and when her main man comes home the other man runs out the back door, so he saying he wants to be the back door man because the girl he’s singing about has a man already

With you. I am 71. Let’s bring our young brother in music which I say with respect and appreciation our music. Lynyrd Skynyrd guys were my friends growing up in west side Jacksonville. Freebird not solo but Allen Collins, Gary Rossington, Steve Gaines each playing their own way.

Saw them at Madison Square Garden I think around 76. They opened with Kashmir.
Ditto! Live they were astounding. ..and REAL.
I dug a lot of weeds to see Led Zeppelin ! Amphitheater in George, Washington. 1994 ?
Welcome to Led Zeppelin
Witnessing someone for the first time feel Led Zeppelin in their soul is the best! It's a wonderful feeling isn't it? Welcome to the club and enjoy the ride✌❤
We had to wait, and wait for the next Zeppelin album. This lucky bum can binge listen to all their music. There's so much more to Zeppelin than "Whole Lotta Love".
Hands down, the Rock band with the greatest amount of Power in their music. Hasn't been copied or equaled in all the years since. Their music is as fresh and enjoyable to new listeners as it was in the 60's and 70's.
💙💙💙
@@williambenson6318 Why would you call him a "bum ?" What am I missing here ?
I agree with that 💯

You don’t just listen to this music , you feel it . 50 years on and my hairs still rise 🏴
So TRUE!!!!!
Led Zeppelin is one of the BEST bands in the world along with the BEATLES!! ✌️
Me too!
Yes you do, this music.......was a life style.......
I know. I immediately cranked the volume and happily anticipated the screaming parts.
50 years on and I still play this song quite regularly. There was no-one like Led Zep.
61 yo !! Still jam to all the Great Rock n Rollers !! The best timeless music !!
59 years old, and me too
I was always jealous of people I knew that were going to Zeppelin concert back in the days!
It was my first ever album I bought! Cranked my windows open on a first Spring day,in my first apartment, and let this blow at top volume! I’m 74 yrs. And still love it❤️
Im 55. Its nice to see the younger generation getting into zeppelin..every race.color ,,age its for everybody
I'm a black man and let me tell you, when this song came out, I WAS ROCKY IT - LOUD. The best rock group song EVER. Play this song around a girl and she knows, what's on your mind. The best part on hearing this song again, was checking you out hearing it for the first time and you loving it.
She always knows that's on your mind ;)
@TomCommoner in the 70's segregation was big but bands like Led Zeppelin's music transcended all of that, it united people all over the world regardless what was happening at the time everyone agreed it was about the music...
"what's race....got to do with anything?'
For one, you might look into how ZEPPELIN and soooo many others took songs originally done by Black artists and built upon them, sometimes word-for-word, note-for-note, and reaped tons of rewards and acclamation for material that wasn't wholly original to them from the start. THEY dug into the race thing.
For two, I don't think @laduoinvestments3749 may have been pointing anything out other than ZEPPELIN appealed to audiences outside of the basically white mainstream who made up most of their audience.@TomCommoner
I really like this kid, but I can't fricken come to my senses that he Never heard of The Mighty Zep?!

I love reaction videos to “our” geezer rock! These kids have heard ao much auto tuned crap, that their minds are blown when they hear great tunes. 🎉
This young brother's eyes have been opened! Welcome to my teen years. Zeppelin was the soundtrack of my youth. Even 50+ years later, their stuff still stands up REALLY well.

Led Zeppelin is one of the most revolutionary bands in the world ! In all of time! Seriously. You’re right, they were, are and will always be special. ❤

My very favorite band since the late 1960s
This kis is mesmerized, love his reaction! Honey, keep listening, you will love it all❤❤
Welcome to the huge Led Zeppelin fan club. Your reactions are exactly what we felt when we first heard this music way back when. This is why we still love it all these years later
Yes we do!!!
Agree whole heaftedly with you. It takes raw and rare talent to write so many songs to life a life times. Love them. They didn't believe in copying any other artists at all.
AMEN!!
Wouldn't it be great to hear it for the first time again? In a way, it is kind of hearing it for the first time again, every time you hear it. It is that good.
THE BEST ROCK BAND EVER
Bluest perfection, transcendental snd timeless, facts ❤this music
The best of a era of greatness
Always tickles this Boomer to see great music like this get 'discovered '. We may be Boomers but we had GREAT music!!
Music of my teens. Feels timeless. Robert Plant is still performing in his 70's. Props to you for being open minded.
I'm 76 years old and if this song was released today, it would still be a smash hit.
Or at least SHOULD be a smash hit. I'm afraid that the current... 'sound' has destroyed today's youth's taste.
You’ve sadly overestimated this generation, my good man…
I agree, you lived that era.
Try Magic carpet ride !

I'm 64 and love seeing the young generation discovering the music we've loved our whole lives. Thank you Led Zeppelin and thank you young people.
First heard them at 13. Rocked my world! They still do! Timeless!
It is wonderful to see a younger generation appreciating this music. Thank you and pass it on. The Mighty Led must live forever. 😊
I often wish i was 10 to 15 years older 😅
@@disaster4you2 no, don't! Enjoy our music without the arthritis and alzheimers! Lol
You could at least spell their name right, Mongo.
This is declared the best band ever you’ve got good taste. So cool to see the younger generation enjoying it.
It blows my mind a generation has never heard zeppelin but it makes me happy that they get to discover it for the first time like we all did. :)
After 50 years it still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up with pure musical pleasure!❤️

I love these reaction videos. Sometimes they even help me listen to a song in a different light.
Same for me. Got chills down my spine when listening to the song.
Bonham taking the lead instrument in the 2nd part of this song is low key but in your face brilliance
Definitely....goosebumps even though I have heard it thousands of times. LZ were the supreme blues rock combo.

Gen X wasn’t around in 1969, when this song came out.
This is not a Gen X era song - but okay. 🤣
They were and still are the shit when it comes to classic rock!
It's fun to see this guy discover the raw power and rock perfection that was Led Zeppelin in its prime. No one can sing like Robert Plant. No one can play the drums like John Bonham could. I think our young friend had his mind blown! Some songs never grow old.
And no one can play the guitar like Jimmy Page.

Still delivering the thunder after all these years. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Robert Plant (the vocalist you heard) is still around, still doing amazing things...

Taken too soon and a great drummer, got to say his lad is certainly following in his footsteps.
John Bonham was one off IMO. No one, not even his son, could recreate the feel of him. Truly unique.
Bonzo was a beast but his son, Jason, is mediocre at best. Page & Plant's drummer, Michael Lee (RIP), is far superior to Bonham's son.
