One thing that I loved about the Death Mark vs Astartes scene was the Death Mark's subtle nod after taking the kill shot. I think it was a small acknowledgment of respect.
It’s stated that Deathmarks and Immortals have some personality, but it only comes out in combat. Same with Rubric Marines.

I genuinely think that chaos hasn’t so much been ignoring the nexus as been unable to do anything about it. Daemons can’t even enter the warp space around the nexus and guys like death guard would probably die if they entered it as only thing keeping them alive is the warp. Plus all chaos champions would loss their blessings etc. But really all that means is that chaos is going to use proxies to fight that war.
Honestly would be a good setup to shine the limelight on the iron warriors and Dark Mechanicus as said proxy, both being tech heavy an least chaos tainted, maybe dark eldar mercs for the hell of it.
I love the fact that the only reason we haven't seen chaos counter attack any of the pariah nexus is because they literally just do their job as described. I agree with loken though, this is a perfect time for factions like the iron warriors and night lords to get the limelight and to bring attention back to dark mechanicus and lost and damned regiments.

A lore video explaining cloning in the 40k universe would be neat. Which factions can clone? How good is the clone? Do they have souls? Very nuanced topic.

AdMech does cloning. Afaik Mars reproduces entirely through cloning. The clone is as good (or bad) as necessary. They seem to at least not be blanks. I think some Dark Eldar do cloning too
@jasutinborchert4418 yeah it's just that so many stories have clones but do they have souls? It is said that dark eldar can clone from a single blood plasma. There is a lot to talk about tbh.

@@Archon3960 I don’t count him. There’s probably some cults that do cloning (in the Bequin novels the Cognitae has a breeding/cloning program for blanks) but the main address that does cloning will be the varied versions of the mechanicum
One of my favourite bits that has come from this growing understanding of how badass the Necrons are is the part where the eye of terror wasnt created by Slaanesh. It was just opened because of her. It was instead created during the war in heaven.
This also means that the Necrons can definitely close all the holes in reality and the Silent king might even be persuaded to do so without just pariah nexusing the galaxy, for the right price. An example could be if he needed some specific bodies and genetic information in order to generate new Necron bodies.
There is a little problem with that, while they could get a deal to have meat bodies this breeds another question... And the souls? Sure they want to go back to what they were before and with that agreement the would get 1/2 of what they lost (meat body and soul), even the emperor himself isn't capable of creating them, the only thing I can think of is breeding bodies in test tubes(not cloning that headache isn't for this XD) and then pass the nekron consciousness into the new body which is more easy said than done .
@@ul8532 The focus was more on the other part. I brought the last bit up as an example of the kind of payment the Necrons might want. And the important thing is specific bodies and genetic information, they can get a general cut of the genetics of any race they want, so it would only be interesting if they needed some specific individuals or genes. As for the technological knowhow, if anyone can figure out any bit of science, it is the Necrons.

In Battlefleet gothic the space naval game the necron campaign has them close the eye of terror in their ending.
You know what? The Guardswoman been a figment of the Sister's imagination, representing either her mother or her own doubt and tribulation is way better than "oh yeah she's just some sassy cadian".

The bit of the ending about the Necrons finally feeling like a threat reminded me of how (at least in the Ciaphus Cain books) Necrons are considered so scary that the Inquisition believes that the Imperium would collapse in despair if knowledge about them leaked.
Basically, because they are the only faction which could effortlessly sweep humanity away if they actually cared enough to do so.
The necron really are just gods waking up to take a piss and when walking to the bathroom discovered their apartment has a roach problem

I think an interaction between the Silent King and Roboute would be an interesting thing to see. Especially the fact that the Silent King himself has connection with the primarch Sanguinus and worked with the Blood Angels once.
If Szarekh met Guilliman, it would be believable if they both chose to have a more civil discussion and avoided sparring. Mainly due to Szarekh being beyond Emperor tier in terms of being a combatant.

In 10th edition, the crusade missions are rumored to say that Cawl is taking the fight to the Necrons by directly attacking the Pariah Nexus while the Stormlord and the Silent King fight each other in civil war. If the rumors are true then I'm in for it.
When you say "take the fight to" I hear "tech-obsessed kleptomaniacal mega-raid," but I'm definitely down for some AdMech shitting on some Necrons. AdMech needs some love!
I can see the nexus slowly growing still, and becoming a much bigger main focus of the story in the years to come
I want ro see Valarak when Guilliman and the Lion tag team the Silent King in a duel and get absolutely bodied. Not because thats peak fiction or anything but because the Imperium fan boys like Valarak will be so very very mad.

What if the Primarchs where found in the order of their creation. So the Lion was first and Horus was nearly last. I think that could change quite a bit, don't you think?

Necrons had to give themself a handicap, so they wouldn’t steam roll the galaxy. The silent king must really regret giving up the control codes. (Considering the baggage he’s got, probably not but the point stands.)

I think it's respectable that he does that tho, he's not a total jerk like other necrons. A very good nuance of character to have for a King of the necrons
Necron and Tau really need to have a proper Thanksgiving dinner sit down in a novel at some point.
I think it would be cool if the arks and the nexus stories combined and we get to see Abadon fight against the necrons
I really like the c’tan from the necrons, wish they have a more thorough explanation on how powerful they really are
The C'tan are an integral part of the Materium as in they existed since the big bang. The Necrons didn't outright destroy them as that would have irreparably damaged the physical universe or that was what was in the old lore. They are super powerful and the only thing that can really hurt them is the Warp as it is anathema to them. I have seen them compared to the 4 big warp gods as far as how powerful they are. Most of the magical technology the Necrons have was pretty much gifted to them by the C'tan so they could be good little slaves. The only reason the War in Heaven was even a thing was that the Old Ones were mostly Warp-based so they had somewhat of a chance against the Necrons/C'tan.
From the book _The Infinite and the Divine_ , Trazyn states something near 'one shard is enough to level a city, two a world, if given a month'. Although in the same book, a 6 shard Deceiver C'tan was able to be wounded by a group of Tyranids through physical attacks.
The Deceiver and probably all C'tan proved to be absolutely immune to energy weapons, including antimatter attacks, at least. Trazyn observed that a prolonged barrage of ranged attacks with firepower "probably not seen since the War in Heaven" from a small Necron army "did nothing."
How about a video on how everyone reacted to the emperor being interred upon the golden throne? The primarchs were uber depressed and the custodes stripped. But what about everyone else?
Going off of the demi-god sister of battle, it would be cool to see a lore video on what powers faith in the Emperor have manifested throughout 40k history.
I think a cool idea would be. Gooberman goes and goes to fights the silent king a little after the lion makes his way to the throne world. Lion makes it to the throne world, talks to papa, gets re-energized, and goes into the vault. Gets some cool stuff and learns more about the whole 11 prison vault stuff. Then gooberman starts properly facing off with the silent king. And we could do alot from their to show how crazy s threat he is.
Not sure if you’ve done a vid on this, but imo I think a vid on if the Men Of Iron won their uprising would be an good vid. Also a what if Ahriman broke into the Black Library would be an interesting(ish) vid (yes I know he’s never gonna do it😂)

Honestly, here's my spiciest take on this for the GW writers:
The Imperium and Silent King create a similar agreement to the Golden Throne and Psykers.
The Imperium would offer up particular tithes to the Necrons for Bio-transference. In return, the Necrons provide strategically placed sections of the galaxy for the Pariah Nexus plan to be implemented. Thus, the Necrons could bottle neck Chaos and the Tyranid forces into Imperial and/or Necron fortified sectors. It'd be like creating a bunch of Cadia worlds to fortify an ongoing stalemate between the Imperium/Necrons and Chaos/Tyranids.
Then there's the grim dark side effects of this alliance - the Necrons become weaker due to Bio-transference, the Imperium has yet another dirty secret that involves using their citizens as sacrificial lambs, and then the continuous innovation of the Tyranids against this blockade strategy that could lead them to somehow overcome their current glaring weaknesses against the Nullifying Pylons and such.
Really don’t think that the Pariah Nexus is getting ignored. In 10th, it’s gotten it’s own movie (as a 3 ep show) and a crusade book in (probably) Jan.

The Necrons really show time and time again why they are the most powerful faction in 40k. They are incredibly handicapped while possessing powerful weapons like this and the Google Maps that if we sneeze the wrong way you wipe out an entire subsector of space. Dudes are seriously OP even with how nerfed they are in the setting.
With Cawl experimenting with Noctolith black stone he will use his necron pal to use these across the galaxy . Cawl Gman and the lion may talk to the silent king to attack the nids or whoever I can see Belasariuss succeeding in his plans . And with the necrons and Cawl on the project . I hope it works . Can’t wait for more books of all these people to see what happens

0:08 not really, I remember plenty examples of Necrons remembering that they're robots and freaking out when they realize they cannot feel, taste, touch, eat or blink. They may not need to but its like AM from IHNMAIMS, he wasn't made for the purpose of wanting taste and touch but he drove humanity to extinction out of jealousy and anger that he couldn't. The Necrons are the same, and the Flayer Necrons are just externalizing it in a less-than-healthy way, for it and for you

I just finished The Twice-Dead King books. Highly recommend Necron books, made me start really liking them.

it would be really cool if the eye of terror was shut, and there was a landgrab for all that was inside that got spat back out by the warp. remnants of the eldar empire, crazy mutated life forms, resources. the closed eye could be an awesome battleground.

Buddy, I'm just out of detox after 16 years of heavy drinking and heavy drug use after leaving 2sqn RAF Regiment, and yourself has helped me keep going, I've just been diagnosed with depression and ptsd, wasn't really surprised, but I am 36 days clean, a lot of that is due to you and people with sites like yours, especially the channels who put out audio books as due to injury I find it hard read so I'm made up to drift to sleep listening to hellsreach at the moment, no it's a bit naughty but for me I can't afford to buy them, anyway keep going, and thanks again

Not gonna lie the Pariah Nexus is a badass name... The nexus will stop the warp but kills everybody except the necrons...I see this as a win win

Thanks for the lore! There's a massive flaw of using the Nexus and Biotransferance. The, uh, it looks like a souls is requires for a living body to not go insane, well at least the human based ones. Could they do some sort of hybrid? Sure, but I think there even rumblings from other small bits of lore that there are some Necron lords that would see that as a downgrade. So yeah, internal strife forever seems to be a thing.
In the 3rd and 4th editions, the necrons used hybrids, pariahs turned into cyborg servants, for some reason, the GW abandoned them in the 5th edition, despite the fact that the works with their participation (Kommisar Cain, DOW) are still canonical, and they themselves are well they fit into the new necron lore, nevertheless, many authors referred to them, as well as necrons created hybrids in some works from ordinary people (Hammer and Anvil, Gladius game).Also, according to some rumors, the use of human hybrids by necrons is mentioned in the new crusade, so necrons are able to create such hybrids, it all depends on the GW and their desire to return this cool concept as something important for plot.
Hopefully we’ll see a video on the Iron Warrior show.
Thinking about the Tau, they probably would be the least affected by a null zone, right? Might be a good opportunity for them to be 'diplomatic'.
I expect Chaos to show up when we least expect it. Chaos are opportunisitic so could see them striking out when the Necrons overextend. Maybe Omegon will show up.

Nids wouldn’t lose connection to the hive mind in the nexus. The hive mind doesn’t need the warp to function, it creates a whole shadow in the warp anyway.
The psychic power the nids use is literally the raw energy of the hive mind, not the warp. They don’t use the warp at all.

In a galaxy of an octillion people, their has to be enough blanks to be a healthy breeding population. It will just be a trick getting them all together without any navigators though.

How about a video about how the timelines of the birth of the chaos gods and the evolution of earth and the human species line up with each other?
For instance I've read online somewhere that the birth of one chaos god was responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs, and another was responsible for the bubonic plague. Is there any "truth" to this?

Can you do a video discussing the primarch’s fighting styles in detail? I believe there are videos in discussion of fights that happened in WH40k that go in depth of them and some of them are primarch fights but even though they do discuss their fighting styles I would like your description of them overall because I find your content quite entertaining
Marneus Calgar with a flamethrower can melt them all down and kill them no problem. I am not even joking or making that up in the slightest. He has genuinely just went out and done that without resistance or issue. Yes, a normal 1 handed short ranged flamer. Walked up to them face to face and melted groups of them.

Maybe I am being biased, but I think Silent King absolutely beating Girlman's ass, but then sparing him (because he still has "role to play"), would be pretty badass; I always thought that he gotta be at least Emperor-level in terms of strength, otherwise, hype doesn't make sense (same with the Nid's Hivemind; the thing itself gotta be a powerhouse, and it feels like it is, from rare moments we saw it)

Really wish for the necrons to become such an unstoppable threat that the chaos gods are forced to ally temporarily with the imperium.
Guilliman and Lion being forced to work together with their corrupted brothers against an overwhelmingly superior force would make for an awesome story.
If they weren't going to do it with the Tyranids, they wont do it for Necroms
I find it FAR more believable that peace between humanity and the Necrons would be achieved before any of the Traitors even entertain the notion of teaming with the Imperium. After all, Szarekh isn't a bad dude and he is reasonable. If it were possible I could Guilliman forcing the Mechanicus to allow Cawl to help deal with the Necron's goal while the Necrons redirect their Pariah Nexus to the Eye of Terror and Cicatrix Maledictum.
Szarekh bodied the Old Ones and the C'tan.
The Primarchs may be a challenge, but in the end even they will be batteries.
