Jonathan woodwards TT memories take my mind straight back to when i was a kid! Growing up in Scarborough there was a few families without a car and they used sidecars for family travels. There was a bloke who lived on Falsgrave and he was a chimney sweep and had a yellow 3 wheeler with a chimney brush across the things roof rack. Magic. Thing was yellow and black. Great stuff😊😊

Last year, a truck hauling a trailer cut me off i went off into the woods, I hit a rock wall head first at over 100mph, fortunately i was wearing a helmet, unfortunately i was wearing a cheap icon airflite helmet. I survived cause of god, i had 4 serious skull fractures, a bad brain bleed on mu frontal lobe, Shattered orbital bone, hematoma of my eye, jaw was split im half, broke 7 ribs in 12 spots, Shattered collarbone, broken shoulder, broken elbow, broken c4/neck, and some bruises. Drs tol my wife I had a 5% chance of living and if i did live I had 75% chance of having no memory again and would be im a vegitive state, 1.5 days later i woke from my coma full memory of everything and beside the broken bones i was functional. I left the hospital afyer 7 days and was back to work 9 days after my accident on very light duty while i healed up. Dr said count your blessings cause that was a miracle. He had never seen a frontal lobe brain bleed heal like mine did. I thank god everyday and I did buy a new s1000rr now i wear a tech air 10 air bag, and a much better helmet! Be safe never know when your going to wreck

I worked for Phoenix Distribution for 12 years selling Arai, best job ever, wish I was still involved. However it was an absolute privilege to work several times at the TT, preparing and doing visor changes. In 2000 I was in Joey’s crew in his last race on the island, which he won. Doesn’t get better than that.

This was a very well done video. I’ve been riding for 25 years. When I started riding I researched to find out what is the best and safest helmet. That’s when all roads led to Arai. The first time I laid eyes on an Arai, I immediately saw the difference between the Arai and the other helmets that were its contemporaries. Over the years I’ve been fortunate to purchase and use 7 different Arai helmets, with a new Corsair X acquired a few months ago. Few things in the world can be relied upon to provide consistent high levels of performance - Arai is one brand that does. ❤️ 🏍️

Brought a TT2014 helmet and needed chin vent and side pod replacing. Contacted Arai Europe and they advised me to contact the Visorshop NI. Within days the problems had been solved at no cost to me. Great service for an ordinary guy who doesn't race. Just wished AlpineStar leathers offered the same service !

But potentially could have saved his life as Arai are considered the safest helmet at the TT and most races across the World, which is why some of the Worlds elite riders use Arai. If I could afford one I’d have an Arai helmet every time.

Wasn't the visor that cost him the race it was the lemon that was supposed to be competent enough to fit it he f£_ked off back across the barrier while they were still fitting the rear wheel so he'd adequate time to flip the visor and check the pods

Top Tip to professional users who need to do pit stops: do like Deano and swap the whole helmet. Deano knows. I expect MD to start swapping helmets too from now on.

If theres a release button for the side clips that are right next to the tear off “handles”, a rider could potentially bump it with their glove while trying to remove the tear off☹️. Hope anyone “important “ reads this. Probably not
