Wasn't his windage, it's his elevation. And it's simply set back to the same battle zero

I mean even if it was the windage it's simply set back.. You either just remember/log your mechanical field zero and go from there, just as long as the windage and elevation is sighted in on the rifle (ie initial zero, which actually can be trued through the front sight for windage at first, then calibrated to the rear sight by loosening the rear sights elevation and windage detents) then it's fine, it's meant to be able to adjust for elevation on the fly and put back to their set battle zero though.

The one I was issued was a tack driver too. I am by no means a great long distance shooter but it was stupid simple with that rifle
A friend of mine used an M39 (like an MK 14) when he was in Afghanistan, said it was very accurate
The M39 is more leaned towards accuracy, as it only fires on semi-auto and has some upgrades. The Mk14 fires both in semi and full-auto.
the mk14 is a battle rifle while the m39 is a dmr

Do you own any firearms that cost less than $1500?? Your collection is insane dude!! I would absolutely love to have one like this some day! Last I checked that M14 EBR was going for about 3500-6000$ USD depending on what features you add/upgrade. Yours looked decked out too! Beautiful!
He's Canadian so his SVT40 is probably sub $500
Yeah the blackfeather gets no love and I think it is a more practical chassis upgrade.
The m1A alone for 1600 for me whole build was about 5000 lol
You can get a m1a for 1800, then the sage ebr chassis for 900, so that route is cheaper than buying a M14 ebr out of the box
Note that the receiver is stamped Norinco not Springfield, so he saved a bunch of money on that. Also because it's Canada all you can do with these is show them off on RUclips
Probably one of the sexiest looking rifles ever, but god are they heavy.

@@lordXguru sorta ...sorta not. This will be an extract replica. I spent sometime trying to find the exact front and rear sights(the rear sight i purchased is no longer carried it seems). Right now I’m trying to take the front base sight off of the without damaging the gun so I can install a bcm 7” handgaurd and install the correct front sight. Then after that spray paint the lower receiver taping up all the small parts to keep them black. Not too hard honestly but takes time.
The hard part in my opinion is done...finding the correct parts to clone it

I have one of the very very few Sage stocks in Canada for my SKS. It’s actually an incredible rifle now! I added in the AK mag release and it’s essentially a Canada legal AK with Sage international quality 😁

What do you mean very few Sage stocks? You can purchase them readily and have them imported if you really need to.
Being that you're Canadian, I wonder why you didn't opt for the Blackfeather RS instead.

@@r.9158 let me know how importing goes. I haven’t heard of any successful imports to date and the only retailer who carried it stopped after OIC. As far as readily purchased, I bought the last one in Canada.

I have 2.. the socom 16 II in the rare "olive drab"green sage EBR chassis and the socom 16 in the Vltor chassis.. the two most highly coveted chassis out there... Beautiful and most fun guns to shoot
HA! Good luck tryna shoot accurately with a 25rd mag, that things heavy enough with 10, you’re only holding that thing up a few seconds at a time before you’re biceps start burning with a 25rd mag haha.

I own a socom II m1a. All it made me do is want to get a loaded one. They are so short just build a ar-10 pistol at ten inches and it will out perform it all day long.
This is probably my favorite gun period. The cool factor is off the charts.

My dad used these in marksmanship training back in 1982. He’s a pretty good shot.
Literally one of my dream guns, I played with this gun in MW3 and i think i finally unlocked it in BF4 and use it alongside my m110
It's like $3k, the rifle itself (depending on what you want) are 1.1k up to 2-3k. The stock by itself is over 1k.

epic, one of my all time favorite rifles. Love it even more than my WWII Swedish Mauser that I used to deer hunt with as a kid.
For those that dont like the collapsible stock, they do offer a traditional synthetic stock. Also, models for the m1 carbine and garand
Did you know that beautiful beast is a 1000 times more deadly in NJ because of that adjustable stock, cheek rise, & 20 round mag.
Yeah NJ is insane on guns laws and regulation. Im in NE PA and it's not bad here.. but I've known people who had major issues even getting a gun shipped to a dealer in NJ. Had to be modded a bunch before they could take it home.

I have one of these… built a receiver from Old new stock parts and dropped in a smith barrel. Bought the Sage stock and dropped it in. Been one of my favorite rifles for 8 years now, gets so much attention at the range ;-)
