Are you able to replace the fan and graphics driver in this model? My screen keeps blurring then shaking on its own then blacks out, then turns on for a second and blacks out again with constant fidgeting of the screen etc. Do you suggest I do this myself if it’s easy or do I need to take it to a professional? I know they charge a lot so I’m trying to save money on the parts. Thank you for the advice!!
First try to connect your laptop to external monitor, to see if it's your gpu or the screen. If it works on the external screen, then you screen is defective. If the blurring persist also on the external monitor, then you will need to bring it to a professional, as this is a high risk and very hard repair.
Presume slightly different to mine hp envy x360 convertible 15-bp1xx. Can't find one that looks like yours !
The bp and ed could be different, but I'm not 100% sure as I haven't had rhe bp model yet.
Hi, my HP Envy x360 Convertible is having battery issues and needs a battery replacement. I tried looking on Amazon for a replacement and was wondering will any Hp Envy x360 battery work on my laptop or do I need the specific one for my model which is 15-dr1072ms

so quick question. does this laptop not have a CMOS battery? I have a student with a laptop issue saying cmos error, but a HP forum i read said this laptop doesnt have one. their laptop recently completely shut off and wouldnt boot on until my coworker reseated the battery. so i am wondering if the battery is dying and needs replacing.
Hi. This model doesn't have a cmos battery. The main battery works also as the cmos battery. So you will probably need to replace that one. Good luck

The procedure should be similar, but check your battery model first.

Please what to do when my computer only starts when I press and hold down any key on my keyboard? When I realise the key. My laptop immediately and abruptly stops.
Can the battery be the problem?
Maybe your keyboard is somewhere in short circuit. Open the back cover and disconnect the keyboard and try to start the computer without keyboard connected.

@@giressepatrick5275 You would need a second keyboard to do a test. It's hard to say where is the problem, when it's not diagnosed. But It's a big chance the keyboard is the problem.
