Hello, Miss Heart! The extra plastic bags and bubble wrap could also be added to your yard sale stash. When a customer buys something breakable, you could use the bubble wrap and bags to protect their new found treasures. So proud of all the hard work you’re doing while motivating the rest of us in the process.
This video unexpectedly helped me with something. My discards rarely make it to the charity because driving is difficult for me. I don’t like hosting a yard sale, but I can absolutely put stuff out front for FREE! My favorite part of your videos, especially the basement ones, is that you stop mid-declutter. You don't keep going until it's finished, you go until you are mentally done. And that's the biggest hurdle in my brain, is that I feel like when I go declutter my basement, if I don't finish then that means I failed. Like I didn't accomplish what I originally set out to do. I've really got to get in my head: progress, not perfection.

If I was u anything that was for the yard sale no matter what it was it would not come back into the house if u have to give it away do so because u no longer needed it anyway. Good luck on your continuing declutter journey. U have come so far.
fingers crossed that after yard sale all of it is given away, not brought back in the house. Once a year my neighbor picked a day and advertised it. Anyone who wanted could participate. I started getting the monthly collection dates from purple heart type organizations and we coordinated the date of the yard sale. very little came back in our houses. repack and stack neatly for collection. Impressive how you keep pushing through.

Love seeing your basement decluttering ! Pepper loves being around you to inspect what you are doing for the clutter. Do you have a small at home shredder? You could run some of those papers thru the shredder especially the ones that have your name and address on them. Or just tear out the name and address off mail or magazines and shred the name/address. A home shredder runs from $ 50 to $ 100 but it is worth the money. Thanks for your inspiring videos.

We love you and Pepper! You have this basement thing! I helped bachelor grown son that works very long hours get organized over the past week. He has chronic pain issues and is facing surgery. He shares a house, so not much is under his control, but I chose to clean the bath, kitchen and his room areas. His closet and wardrobe got a refresh, as well as bedding and toweling. I am in beautiful VA now , all is green and blooming.
How nice. I was very sick last fall and many friends and relatives cheerfully helped without complaining of how disordered, etc., the house was in. It is hard to accept help sometimes but their generosity and unconditional love / willingness to help, REALLY HELPED. Best wishes to you and your son.
I haven't watched in awhile.. what a lovely cat! My cats are happy when I am busy doing things, moving around. Does not matter what I doing. You are have accomplished so much not only in decluttering but in finding how to go about it to make it less stressful for your challenges. I like how you explain your thought processes. For now I am working on cleaning and if there is something obvious to toss or donate, that is a bonus. Seeing a shiny counter and a little more space on it is a win.

You did great! You might want to make the box labels bigger with bigger writing so you can see it from far away. 3x5 index cards work great for that with clear packing tape to attach them.
In your kitchen find a tripple tray for papers, to be sorted, to be filed and whatever is tossy tossy you just toss it once you go through it. Go through it once a week. Will cut down on paper work.
I have watched all your declutter videos but only really see trash being decluttered. Have you talked about your shopping problem? Is that part of the ADHD or is that the Hoarding diagnosis? You explain your process so well and seem to have self reflection and insight but I see lots of purchases that didn’t even make it of the shopping bag.
