Fond memories of flying with you out of PHX in the Navion over 20 years ago.

We are flying from this tiny airport towards Denver. It is windy, but I didn’t give it much importance; I have had flu with my Doug many times before. This time is different, Luna, my daughter is flying with us, and she is nevours, I try to calm her down. The kids read or listen to music, and Awa holds Doug’s hand. We are getting closer to the top of the mountain, and the plane starts to shake. I close my eyes. Now, it is moving more. Move left and right, and each time, the alarm beeps. I move a few inches away from the window (like it makes any difference). I grab Luna’s hand; I look at her and see her fearful expression. I pretend to be calm. Now, the plane is also moving up and down, and new alarms start to beep. Left, right, up, down, beep, beep, BEEP , BEEP. BEEP. I move another inch away from the window; I dare to open my eyes and look at Doug and Awa. They sit calmly, hold hands, and talk like they are in the park. All my fears disappear. I look back at Luna and send her another kiss and a big smile. The plane stops shaking. We are descending. We told Dough and Awa how we felt and our fears when we landed. They laughed; they didn’t even notice the "entertainment". All this fear for nothing. It was very comforting to see Doug and Awa so calm and so in control. BUT WE BOUGHT A TICKET ON A COMMERCIAL PLANE BACK TO MIAMI ;)
