we used to host a yard sale and we always did very well with ebay unsold but i tired of keeping shelves full of dead weight in the garage. every time i looked at it, i was reminded of another failed ebay item
here’s my advice…
let it gooooooooo
years ago we stopped holding onto it
instead when the pile starts to mount up
we take it to the thrift store
yes we’re “losing”‘money on not reselling at the yard sale but we’re also done with them
we’re FREE of the burden
& psychologically it’s much better for you
Clean your plate & move on you’ll be free of the dead weight
Just the cost of business is what I say!
Buy them for so low that even if you cany resell you are more or less making your money back when you ''let them go''.

Pete I'm a roofer for 35 years now. That type of leak is usually caused by a break in the seam of the cap metal on the Parapet wall. It's an easy fix with some high grade roof caulking going over the seams on the wall cap metal.
I fixed a roof once and I concur! Be sure your drains are clear.

@@marcmiller789 local people don't really know this but a place I used to work at had a roof recently collapse from a plugged drain. Roof was replaced about 5 years ago and they chose to abandon the $$$ scuttle (roof hatch) so access was by ground ladder or other means only. It's going to be interesting to see how it works out. Previously the building occupants could check the drain - if they thought of it.

I believe the actual issue is caused by the tricongulated dingle arms in the perplexulatum usually induced by non-linear stress on the fabricated fluxors. I'm no expert though.
Pete can you do a video maybe add clips of people buying things now that a few years ago.. like the box TV and even like just kitchenware.

I have unsold items I keep relisting since 2016. That's 7 years of trying to sell them.
Lol 😂🤣Keep trying to sell on ebay or like I do if its been around on ebay to long then its going to go into to my garage sale pile, and if they don't sell at the garage sale, After the garage sale I post on Facebook and other posts Free Garage Sale Items or Sometimes when I don't want to deal with selling it at the garage sale, it will get donated to the thrift store. Its such a good feeling to get rid of it let me tell ya!!
I also forgot there are times if a item is stale and not selling for months/years on ebay, I will put that stale item/not selling item in a lot of a few or more items together on ebay and then they sell so try that! I wouldn't try to do that with heavy items, putting them in a lot as shipping costs would be expensive and charging big shipping fees turns off customers. So you could probably do that locally (selling a few heavy items as a lot) then selling on Facebook or some local place in your area to free up your inventory and make some profit in the end! Yeah Baby there is so many ways to free up your stale inventory and make the profit and in the end if you don't want to deal with it just let it go for free or donate it! Or again garage sale! Love the reselling business its just like the stock market so fickle UP and DOWN Lol!

Some Squiers are very nice, in the past decade. Classic vibe series especially. Older affinity or bullet series is the low end stuff.
You should do whatnot auctions to get rid of stuff.
Actually Pete would most likely make a killing $$$$ on Whatnot as he is a trusted person/seller a popular you tube personality and influencer and has a loyal following that respects and loves him. Yes I really think he would be successful on whatnot.
The only thing is Pete has countless and various items to sell in how many categories? SO MANY! His different items are endless! His niche would be a little complicated because of his broad inventory. I think what he would have to do is maybe start out for example ( this is just example) in the music category on whatnot if that is what he wanted to start out selling, and then as that inventory starts selling out he would announce a different category of items he wants to sell etc etc. Although a little complicated with his endless different inventory I honnestly believe Pete would be so successful on whatnot, he would make a killing! But then again I am Actually thinking for starters if Pete sold on whatnot he could or should be selling in 2 different categories on whatnot in a week, yes at least 2 different categories in a week. And of Course Pete would have to share his backround to the whatnot community that are in his live auctions! Again you would be appreciated and enjoyable for whatnot buyers! Again a Hit and Success!

Your HP 96A cartridges are all over E-Bay for $20-$25 for free shipping, so you will never sell it for $30. You probably just misresearched your Frogger game. On Atari, you might get $150-$200 for a sealed copy, less with torn cello. So if you paid $70, that is probably what you thought you were buying.
Yours was for the Intellivision. Those are $30-$40 sealed, again without torn cello. Yours is worth maybe $25.
If you are a jack-of-all-trades and a master of none, these kind of mistakes will happen. That's part of the business.

That room divider is amazing... Wow! The Empire Turntable is also very sweet. In that condition with all the literature a grand seems like a fair price (depending on what cartridge it has), maybe even a little more to the right person as you stated.

frogger was a very stupid game. you should have known... I did. But I'm not the proud owner.
I work on Printers and sell spare cartridges as well. That HP 96A is from an out dated printer from the early 2000s so most likely it's so obsolete that almost all are not in use anymore. Also that box graphics is out dated, HP changed to a black/white box (box design helps me know what to not resell vs resell).
They don't last forever even sealed, likely the rubber blade that cleans the drum is dried up by now and that cartridge would be defective out of the box from age. If I saw that I'd pass on it as well even for a resale item, there is a build date on the back HP stamps on most of the boxes but it can fade out over time (I usually resell 3-4 years max of that date).
This stuff is better than blood pressure medicine

208 and 598 are the best empire turntables. The 698 is a little less reliable. Beautiful equipment tho
I wonder if there is an industry median percentage of loss on unsold, undersold, items. Also if in the US goods that are not sold if the cost or a percentage can be claimed on the business tax claims.

I love that you show it's not always all of the glamour that some other youtubers make it out to be and how often you buy things that look like they'll sell great and end up barely making your money back.
haha well, he makes MUCH more than he loses so don't feel too bad. As a re-seller myself, that's just how it works, you win you lose but thankfully us good re-sellers with positive ratings like myself win much more often than we lose.
Positive ratings quite literally mean jack all about how much you win or lose on an item lol but yes, I would of thought it safe to assume any good re-seller wins more often than they lose. Even so that doesn't mean that you don't buy a ton of items that don't make very much or next to anything at all. Great re-sellers make good money but they're not getting rich quick, that's the reality.
