I don’t know why I started watching these videos. I don’t buy/sell or collect things like this but for some reason I find it therapeutic to watch. I really enjoy your interactions with the customers and employees. You all seem like genuinely good people. Thanks for sharing!
I used to watch Pawn Stars like some stuff went for hundreds of thousands of dollars like Picasso paintings, cars, bikes, relics, & more with Pete it's all cheap stuff.. Peter just seems to attract viewers like us in the tens of thousands. I come to realize it's his personification as well as trust & honesty feathered by his parrot and cat which brings animal lovers too..
Pete really just told the guy who offered $1/unit that he would do $2/unit. That is the reason his youtube channel does well. Honesty is something people desperately want to see. Wholesome interactions are attractive.
Wrong! Pete gave him $2 when the guy asked for $5. Now he’s getting $35 a pop on EBay. Pete’s as crooked af just like all sellers. That’s how they succeed, taking advantage of desperate poor people.
Awesome video Pete. I like how you heard the silver right away and gave him extra money for his money. Most guys would just pocket it. A 90% 1964 Kennedy is around $7.50 melt but you can sell them for $9.00 to a coin shop (18 times face and they resell it for 22 times face). The 1965-1971 40% melt value is around $3.00 and are resold for around $3.50. You are awesome Pete.
@chaicharin, you have no clue what you are talking about, no coin shop in the USA will buy a 90% half dollar (cull) for $9.00. They would go out of business in a week, every silver dealer in America would flock to them. I been buying and selling for over 3 decades. A coin shop may offer 80% value for 90% Silver coins at best. And a 1971 has 0 Silver. By the way, most Coin shops sell 18x face at the top.
Hey Pete, it would be very cool if you were to start showing customers making purchases as well. I would love to see some of the items you have purchased being sold.
Hey Pete the store looks great! I love your new helper Manny! He’s HILLARIOUS I almost fell outa my chair when you asked him how he liked being there after about 12 hours in and he looked at Ryan and said “ it’s been one hell of a ride!” That made me laugh so hard I had to watch it over and over again the look on Ryan’s face!! 😂😂Thanks for making my day!
