Hearing you say you didn't know 3 Dog Night or Steppenwolf or George Thorogood made me feel pretty old, but very grateful that I know them and have loved them all of my adult life.
I guarantee you when he realizes George Thorogood did Bad to the Bone he’ll know who he is
I’m 35 and know them all very well
I couldn't wait to get on here and say the EXACT same thing. Born in 78 and was FLOORED he didn't know those bands. I just discovered this guy and he reminds me of my 1 and only polish buddy. Both awesome guys btw...
I wonder if he knows how cold a “three dog night” is 😊
I thought that woman was wearing the bulls jacket at 6:35 for a second😂. I was like "Wow that sold quick!"
That bulls jacket might sell for $1500…I would have offered him $700
You ever hear that song that starts out like "Jeremiah was a bullfrog, was a good friend of mine" That's Three Dog Night.
"Joy to the world"
Fistful of Dollars soundtrack by Ennio Morricine, super cool music! And if in good condition a lot of people dig the spaghetti western soundtracks!
Should have tried to sell that bulls jacket to the lady at 6:44 that had on the same style Blackhawks jacket. She obviously likes one of a kind jackets lol
If you redid the floor in the shop I bet you would get so much more sales the place is beautiful and just needs a change of flooring
Pete, I can't believe that you don't know George Thorogood.
Oh my God is that a George Thorogood record that he doesn’t recognize how, not only growing up when he did, but in the business season how, how how how
goldlen earring is the band from Rader Love . Steppenwolfe is with Born to be wlld.
Jacket worth $3500 now. What a steal!!!!
2 dollars you mean
When he's saying he doesn't know some of these absolutely major bands like Three Dog Night...don't let those band members watch this video lol! I would love to listen to any of those albums, all hits.
I want that Maiden album!!! Let’s me know if it’s going to eBay !
New to the show , I'm hooked
I want the whole crate of albums Peter .
Epic record collection!!!
Im assuming that lady dropped a couple grand on that jacket that looked like the bulls jacket!? I thought she had bought it😂😂
Peter, golden ear ring steppen wolf, your not familiar with them, blasphemy 😂
The threads on the handles are built for heavy items. I'd be shocked if they were for a beverage tap.
Could someone explain why that coat is so valuable?
It commemorates the year of Chicago Bulls 6 time NBA championship.
No offense, because I know people buy all sorts of things, but the only way I would pay $2,500 for a jacket like that is if it had $2450 in the pocket.
You don't know stepping Wolf Born to be wild come on now never heard of Three dog night either Man someone needs to school you in music
@@MarcGiancola for real, but he was born in 1970. And Polish lol 😂
It's so tacky lmao. Someone who is rich enough to afford it would probably not be into that kind of thing
Who would wear that?
@@MarcGiancolaSteppenwolf
For a second I thought the old lady was wearing the jacket you just bought.....
HAHAHA Me Too!
me too
Haaaaaa😁😆. Me, too!
I thought the same thing 😂
Me too!! Also her legs were like matchsticks lol 😮😊
Magic Carpet Ride is a killer song by Steppenwolf.... Cannot believe that you didn't recognize the band name Pete..
Yes those are the Elevator Operator Handles for the Chicago Train Station - Real Neat I'd pay $150 for the set :D
That's what I speculated... But some other guy said I was wrong, but didn't offer a correction.
@@OldsmobileCutlass1969Va yea that was my guess as well, i guess im not the only one judging from the comments
Is it true that there is no 13th floor in the USA?
@@vaekkriinhart4347 it is true
That was hilarious at 8:51 you made the chick disappear who was trying to show off her Stanley Cup jacket 😅……she gone! 🎉
poof
because theres only one 3pete jacket allowed in the shop at a time and peter already had the bulls.... so poof disappear 🤣🤣🤣
She is a Time Traveler. 😁
Golden Earring is from the Netherlands, they go way back to the early 60s. First hit was Radar Love. Twilight Zone was another.
As soon as he said golden earing i could hear the beat, and singing radar love.
@@EmeraldHill-vo1cs I pictured the video for Twilight Zone.
@@EmeraldHill-vo1cs That's what happens when the road has you hypnotized and radio plays that forgotten song.
They look like a throttle handle for an old style elevator or train. May also have been used as elevator door handles. Elevators were a lot different in the early 20th century.
The handles might have been from the elevator too. To open/close the door gate and to switch the motor direction... My theory.
You are so right. That was back in the day when there were elevator operators.
years back i worked in big city- they still had a cute elevator girl. i worked on the old thing- sorry but not a part for them. keep tryin thx
I think you might be on to something here. I also remember seeing something along those lines to select the floor in old photos.
@@sbuzz5889 Then what are the from? You just said I was wrong, but offered no alternative answer!
$1600 for that jacket ?? That's where two fools met. That jacket isn't worth $100
I love the display! Thank you for showing it the appreciation it deserves :D
Hope the jacket is real the one the lady Wearing looks almost same
Style might’ve sold it outside to her
Good point
It's not a one of a kind jacket , it's a replica , a high quality rep
he didn't say it was. he said it's not like its a one of a kind jacket. but it's definitely not worth much more than what he paid going by the sold comps. one sold, was relisted and sold again. but now its relisted again. the next closest similar jacket sold for nearly what he paid. but if it's a replica as you say (and another guy down below), it's worth even less..
If it’s a Chinese clone, feel bad for Pete. That guy who got $1500 knows what he’s doing.. even dry cleaned it for the added touch but could be brand new from China 😂
@@blockminingsolutions I trust he knows his shit
Pete, I'm so glad I got into reselling many years back, and found your channel. I seriously love seeing what's going on around your shop and with da boys & animals. :)
I thought he was brilliant when it came to rock and roll from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s until he didn’t know the band Steppenwolf
George Thorogood? Bad to the Bone! You'll know it as soon as you hear it, dollars to donuts! Lots of cool vinyl there!
nobody will pay over 300 for that bulls jacket, and he'll get 300 only if he's very lucky.
Hi CH - the iMac might be having connection issues because of the clock being off. If you can change it to match the current date and time it may be able to see your network and connect at that point. Really cool piece. I work in IT full time (PT reseller) and think the older mac models are super svelt. I miss those designs even though I'm more of a windows gal myself. lol
The clock being off would only be an issue if the connection was working, if he's not even connected then the computer has no way to know whether the clock is right or wrong
CCR (creedence clearwater revival) is the green river album. and be sure to check the serial run number on the dylan album. that's freeweelin dylan and if the numbers are correct, it could be worth some big bucks.. golden earring did the song radar love which i'm sure you've heard many times.. british steel in clean condition is easy $25.. you know steppenwolfs' BORN TO BE WILD.. george thourogood does the song BAD TO THE BONE..
Exactly, you’re right. I’m scrolling thru all the comments wondering if there’s any other old rockers like myself. I saw CCR many times in the late 60’s & early 70’s, surprised Pete didn’t know that was their LP. If he listens to it, then he might remember Bad Moon Rising, Commotion & the actual song Green River, as it was a big hit too!
There is a band Green River too from the Late 80s to the 90s. I think it was them!
Wow, what a memory jerker the crate of LPs was. Thanks for doing that. Also Ruby and Honey are both looking fabulous. JR/UK
George Thorogood: BAD TO THE BONE
Steppenwolf: MAGIC CARPET RIDE & BORN TO BE WILD
you know them both… trust me xD
So cute seeing Uncle Ryan and Ruby ❤❤🐔🐦🦜loving on each other!
Steppenwolf's big hit was Born to be Wild from the late '60s, but they had other hits too
Magic Carpet Ride! I think they were a German band if i'm remembering right.
@@clappingpig John Kay the founder came to Canada from Germany when he was 18. But Steppenwolf is an American Band The live Album is an anthology of their hits.
Love Steppen wolfe
So DC comics stole Steppenwolfs name
@@19dfr54 Thank you my friend! I love Rock N' Roll and all the history...
If you got the handles with the push buttons plate, I would suspect it’s elevator operator handles. One for up and for and second one for opening and closing door. Google vintage elevator handles, there were few images that looked similar to your handles.
This is not related to what is in this video, but have been watching Peter's videos for sometime now.
Just wondering is Vicky still working for you Peter? Haven't seen her in any of your videos for a couple of months. Just curious and enjoy all your videos and how you deal with all the customers that come in.
Anyway, thanks for this video and take care.
@dathyr1 No she isn't
She left, or was let go. She and Peter both commented about it (vaguely) many videos back. Neither one of them expanded on why she was gone... But it's a business and I'm sure they had some kind of disagreement and parted ways.
@@robm9120 Ah, Thank you Rob. I tried to listen to past videos, but did not hear the store talking about.
Thanks Rob and Josh (another commenter) for the update.
@@josh9737 Thank you Josh.
@@dathyr1 At one time, there was a pinned comment from Pete on the "I'm Sorry" video, but later it appeared to have been deleted.
One thing I would recommend is taking the light bulb out of the display case with all the old photos. It may cause the photos to fade!
"I need a Little meat on the bone" The Filet Part. LOL
Pete's always wants more meat on the bone..🤔 More like Filet Mignon..😝😂😉🤘
George Thorogood was a great rock artist. Steppenwolf (band), too. Golden Earring had several hits and a huge one with "Twilight Zone" back in the early '80's. The Maiden and Megadeth are definitely my faves but B.O.C. (Blue Oyster Cult) is up there in that race. They were amazing.
Pete should know Bad to the Bone and Born to Be Wild.
@@Bleda412 I'm 27, from Morocco and I recognize all of those. What's Peter's excuse!? He usually seems to have specific knowldge of very antique and unknown stuff
The green river album was ccr also.
How is nobody buying Molly Hatchet? My absolute favorite right there
Golden Earring was a Dutch rock band. The group was founded in 1961 and was the oldest rock band in the Netherlands at the time of its dissolution in 2021. At the time, it was also one of the longest-established bands in the world.
I think you will like the music they made.
Twilight Zone!
I only know of 1 USA hit they had but it was huge! Playing in my head now - " There's a voice in my head that drives my heel...."
@@spudth Radar Love!
You sure that jacket is legit, when I lived in Hammond,In in late 90s there were fakes of this jackets going around, notice the spacing between the 91-92 & 92-93 now look at spacing on otherside. I'm no expert only seen one before today, I don't remember what was the give away years ago, just the spacing stuck out to me big time. ✌🏻💚🙏🏻
@Southern, You are correct, the spacing of the years are off on one sleeve.....
Pete!!! Did you not notice that the lady who appears after you bought the jacket has a similar jacket on... possible fakes being sold in your area??!!. The thorogood album is George thorogood...bad to the bone bbbbad.
LOL. Green River is actually Creedence Clearwater Revival. I guarantee he's heard them MANY times before.
Omg pete. Dont you know the world famous. Band from holland.🇳🇱 Golden earing. 1song is always to hear in many movies!! 👍🙋radar love. And. When the Lady Smiles..👍😉 iam roy from the Netherlands (holland). And love to watchs your movies on you tube. Couple years already.. 🙋👍
Hi..Pete..just subbed your channel, very different, and interesting, and entertaining, You Are the Cat Daddy of Second Hand Merch!!!
That is a beautiful Bulls jacket! 🐂
That jacket is super tough! Love it!
It's ugly as f**k.
That jacket is worth about 800 to 1,000 used. The only sports leather jackets worth buying for resell are Jeff Hamilton brand.
Weird how you bought that jacket then a woman came in with similar with idian on the front (I'm from uk so do not know the teams)
Peter I believe I have a mouse and keyboard for that iMac.
My method for cleaning records especially in the grooves is to use wood glue because it won’t stick to the wax. Basically smear would glue over 100% of the surface of the record and let it set and then you’ll be able to peel it off in one or two big pieces, and it will clean all the grooves of the record .
Wood glue definitely has its following. I believe Techmoan did a video on record cleaning methods that’s I found informative unless it was someone else.
I had same jacket mint condition unused original. I sold mine for 3200 Canadian last year. They are only with 3000 or so here in Canada if find a collector fun times
There for a second I thought the ladie with the older gentleman bought the 3000$ jacket lol
I'd love to have so much money that I could drop $3000 on a jacket!
Always sad going through a dead persons record collection
No one is buying the Molly Hatchet album because they are a forgotten band, but the album you showed in this video is fantastic. If you start playing it in the store, the albums will be snatched up by customers with happy ears.
Yes that is a fantastic album!
@@clappingpig Is that the "Gator Country" LP?
@@skrem23 they have 1 song on classic stations, are an opening act and the entire original band is dead. they are pretty forgotten and not even the real band today.

Nice records..terrible pronunciations! Hey, you took a shot!
You need to check if any Led Zep II has the RL stamp in the dead wax.
I'm not 100% sure what the elevator in Chicago had, but I can tell you that super old elevators did have handles that the operator would move to operate the elevator for the passengers. So it's very possible that those 2 handles you have there came out of one of the elevators.
sounds logical
that jacket would likely sit on the shelf for 20-30 years until the one dood who's looking for it finds it
That's some interesting items Pete..🤔 That jacket is cool but I'm not sure if it's 2k worth of cool.. Love the vinyl records collection..😍😲 Take care guys..👍💕🔥👊

That one album is George Thorgood and it’s a pretty well known and good record
HAAAAA Green River never heard of them?????? thats funny but understandable being born in 1970. Im sure you heard of Creedence ClearWater Revival ,LOLL!
Those copper handles are door/gate handles. I can almost guarantee it. Especially if they came from an old train station 🚂
I agree… was my first thought
Damn $1600 is a great price! I’m sure someone will definitely give up $3000+ for it!

More Cowbell!! Don’t forget the Saturday night live skit they did of Blue Öyster Cult with Christopher Walken.
I had all their albums - I was addicted to them.
DEFINITELY NOT a beer or soda jerk handle. Those handles are fairly lightweight, even the vintage ones weren't several pounds. I highly believe they could be the tops to switch lever control handles for trains (track lever controls). If they were elevator handles, they'd be semi flat or more flat on one side as to adhere to the wall. Those would protrude too far from a wall for an elevator control handle. JUST MY OPINION & opinion from a retired train conductor as well. Anyhow, that's what they appear to be. Hope that helps in some way! Either way, they're 1,000,000 on the cool factor scale!!!
I thought the same thing.

Great channel, but the Bears Still Suck.
For Led Zepplin "2" look out for a etched "RL" in the dead wax......the RL "hotmix" the bass is heavier and a "better sounding mix" goes for about $200 compared to the regular one like 30
Check your Led Zeppelin II for "RL" in the deadwax. If it's there, could be $1,000 record.
steppenwolf is classic late 60s early 70s rock really good stuff
I'm a bit worried when I come to the shop next week, theres gonna be a long line, then the store will be full of employees never seen on film. No Peter, no Ruby, and def no Honey. Then when I ask for Peter, they will say "Peter doesn't come in the store anymore, he films at a replica soundstage across town", while they try to sell me a Craigslist Hunter Tee, or poster of the cat with a bandaid that says "Honey Boo-Boo".
Aw shit you been to the Pawn Stars store too eh? Nobody works there and they basically just sell Pawn Stars merchandise lol.
$1600 is a STEAL!! Gonna make “a couple Bucks” forsure
are you sure? look at the solds for it. the one that sold twice for $5k is relisted again and the next highest sold for a similar jacket is nearly what he paid. unfortunately, looks like he overpaid to me. it sucks. ive been there. at least he will get most of his money back!
