I appreciate that you touch up a knife. It gives a better idea of it's capabilities. Every knife I purchase, I end up touching up the edge, because companies don't normally ship as sharp as I like.

I bought this with the Damascus metal. Love it. Not the one I carry as a backup to my gun. However it is the one I have as a backup to my backup knife due to its small size.

Bought mine from Blade HQ with a Damascus blade and I love it.
i own it and i got it on pre order i love it. it is a fun toy it is smaller than i normally carry but it takes a great edge and its different then most other knifes you can have in Californian. if you aren't sure if you want it get it you wont regret it. the only down side is the red on the button will rub off. the button also needs to be fully pushed to open it so it wont go off in your pocket. buy it you wont regret it

Hey Chris, this has nothing to do with the Kershaw but I just got that jx5 today and it is bad to the bone! I named it after my wife, Heather seeing as how she bought it for me. It hung with a certain highly touted pack axe while performing a side by side chopping comparison. It has earned the position as my primary chopper/ wood splitter. I was kind of surprised by the fact that I could not find your name or logo anywhere on the knife. Thanks again for designing this knife. It's a winner!

good thing the tip doesnt seem to be thin and fragile which is what i was worried about. planning on picking one of these up next year

Great review. I’m in LA, LA, Land L.A. so the two inch law is BS but, you gotta comply. I’m on a knife buying binge right now and this one is on it’s way. I just bought and received two Protech Calmigo’s and having a blast with them. One is all blacked out SWAT model and the other is Rose Gold. Love them. Currently on the the way is my Microtech UTX-70 CA (Expensive!) HK Hogue Micro Incursion (Back Order) and this Kershaw Launch 4 that’ll be here by in a couple days. I have to say, this Launch 4 is bad ass bang for the buck! Lastly, your demonstration on cutting was great. With this Launch 4, it’ll be easier to buy the other colors due to price. Not a lot of companies allow you to due that because of price. Can’t wait to get it!!

$70 is worth for the steel alone, throw in that it's a U.S. made auto and it becomes a deal, but that's always a relative thing, I'd much rather have that knife than a football ticket or a meal at a fancy restaurant. Blade hq has them, including a Damascus exclusive.

In Manhattan a cop spotted the victorinox tiny keychain knife on my brothers keys clipped to his jeans. He had to go to court and pay a fine. I’m sure much less dangerous than the box cutters the newsstand staff were using. Lol

Unfortunately Chris I live in New Jersey and spaghetti is illegal here (I wish!). Even if you are a big boy (like me) you cannot own ANY automatic knives but of course being the good patriot that I am, I keep mine in the house (all 13 of them). I like, I like, I am going to buy one!
under ca law anything 2 in or under unless your in a school, air port or court house is not legally a knife lol.
I have been obsessed with this knife ever since you played (yes you played) with it in a previous video. I want one. I covet it. But I'm not going to buy it (haha) because it's too expensive to lose to the Cal cops. They or some security guy would have to check out the laws and regulations of their particular jurisdiction, and I would never see my little toy again. So...o I bought a much cheaper definitely illegal little stabber to play with. It's not made in the U.S.A. It comes with no reviews and is probably going to fall apart quickly. What can I do? Sometimes I need instant gratification. I want to take this to Christmas dinner and impress all my relatives that yes, I am as wacky as they have long suspected. This is not a reply; its an addendum. I took my little monster to Christmas dinner. I think they were impressed. My son tried to stop me from carrying it in the car, so I put it in my shoe. (No, officer, I have nothing in my pockets that might hurt you.) You see how wimped out Californians are about self-defense tools? Shesh.
That's pretty cool, but I don't know if it's $70 cool... I'm a little leary of Kershaw since I had a Skyline fall apart on me - not cool.

I've never understood the whole lefty flip thing for knives like I'm left handed but I just adapted and learned how to carry a folder on my off side and my main blade on my left is a fixed blade people need to quit bitching and just adapt

If I lived in a state that cared how long the knife I owned is and/or if it opened using a spring id likely consider this, but I don't.

In michigan it is illegal to carry or own any kind of auto knife. Butterfly knife. Dagger. Razor. Stilettos. Or blade over 3 inches. Wow.... I did not know that

I'm from New York and this knife would be illegal here. Still awesome knife. However, in New York it seems that any knife now even the ones that are legal by New York law standards are considered illegal. The laws seem to conterdict each other. Look them up and you will be just as confused as I am.
