- Hi all!
First of all I wanted to thank you for all the support i recieved, and a particular Thank you to the Allegorithmic's team, from the bottom of my heart :D
This time i wanted to try to show you the whole process so i squished 5ish hours of work into this time lapse tutorial.
As always, C&Cs are welcome.
See you around!
Hi! Pauline. I had decided to learn Substance designer out of admiration of your works! I bought some of your SD works from Artstation for study purposes and they are super helpful! I always appreciate your tutorials and works. I'm looking to see your future works and tutorials as well. Big thanks for you!
wow..im big fan of your work..i watched the live today and i just fall in love with substance designer.. i cant wait to make some great mexican fabrics.
OK thats probably the most realistic fabric render ive ever seen, I can almost feel the roughness of it in my hands haha. Awesome :)
I really love your work in designer. Just downloaded some other of your creation from the substance share librairy for study purposes, graphs are clean and easy to follow. thanks so much!
Awsome work!! Please upload more videos, they are incredible
Absolutely incredible work Pauline!
This is madness! Insane! Beautiful work
Travail vraiment impressionant. Je suis les travaux depuis un certain temps et je sui sépoustouflé, tu es une véritable inspiration pour moi. J'aurais tellement aimé me procurer celui la sur le store Artstation pour mieux l'étudier.
such a clever workflow. Pleasure to watch.
This is amazing. this is my new bible. II'll be back with a pattern of myself so I can have fun with these shaping techniques
As I cant comment on your Artstation I just wanted to say I got your advanced pattern tutorial and it's awesome
Hi ron, i was thinking of buying tutorials today. But is it at the same speed? Because this moves so fast i have no clue what she's doing
@@schonkigplavuis8850 yes its normal speed with her commentary. worth it
@@lordyrich Thank you so much. Man you responded so quickly i really appreciate it. For my graduation project i need to make lots of Mongolian 3D carpets and patterns. I feel like this is the best approach to do it.
@@schonkigplavuis8850 Yeah this is good software for something like that. I used it to make some patterns for a Henry VIII tudor outfit.
@@lordyrich I'm downloading everything right now im so thrilled
Love your works Pauline! You're the best on SD 😍
Thank you :)
Yay!! I'm a big fan of your work!
Incredible, wow!
Ornament queen. 👍👍
This is high level stuff. Wow !
I saw your work on Artstation and went totally nuts about it. Great work and dedication made with delicacy :]. Greetings from Chile.
I guess I am pretty off topic but does anybody know a good place to watch newly released tv shows online?
@Vincenzo Davian flixportal :D
@Cade Thomas Thank you, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) I really appreciate it!!
@Vincenzo Davian you are welcome :)
Very cool!
This is amazing
I'm a beginner and I'm very impressed from your tutorial! Can I know why you don't use SVG node instead of blending multiple shapes?
Hm... Why go easy when you can go complicated? :D Honestly both solutions (and even creating bitmaps with illustrator or photoshop too) are good solutions as long as you get to the result you want. The point is not really being effective, that's just my weird way to have fun :) Thank you!
@@paulineboiteux1662 :D When you are a pro you go always in the hardest way!;) Thank you for your tutorial!
I like it a lot... is there any slower version because I am still a beginner.
Thank you so much for this! Just wondering what you rendered your final image with, is it substance designer's renderer or another soft? Thank you
I had a question. Is it possible to use Alpha Ready instead of fabric pattern?
cool~
beutiful
Hi, can u send the link with standard motion Video?
i'm searchin for fur coat texture with substance . can u make a tutorial?
Hello, I love this video and your portfolio! May I ask if Allegorithmic provided you the fabric model you use in this video (because you are very professional)? And where can I find specific models that can be imported in Substance Designer? Because when creating textures I dont like seeing it on a cube, sphere or on a torus, especially when modeling a fabric texture I think it is better to view it on a fabric model. Take Care!
Hi! Thanks a lot :D I actually bought the gorgeous coat, just like the Birds one, but tweaked the pattern a bit tho.
All the models were made with Marvelous Designer by me, too. You don't need to get it too fancy, a 1x1 square that you let fall and the physics does the rest! Fabric meshes are easy to find online too! Cheers!
Thanks for your reply! I tried to import a model in obj format to substance designer but I couldnt. And ı couldnt find a proper answer to my question online . may I ask which format a model should be so that I can import it to substance designer?
@@ulkutuna try fbx ;)
Hello, I was wondering if I could get your help with learning this program. I've asked around and looked at a bunch of tutorials, I just for some reason can't get a handle on it. I'm more hands on and I'd love if you could help me.
where can I get this video without speedup? I'd like to study it. Do you sell it?
Hello ! I 've been trying this kind of exercise but i can't seem to find good reference images. I 've been searching for "tapestry designs" and derivatives but I don't think I am using the best resources. Do you know by any chance where I can find good textile patterns references ?
hey this looks amazing, but I dont get how you get it to look as if the patterns are made by individual threads of cloth..?
Thanks! By using a tile sampler, the pattern created is simply a mask plugged in the mask input of a tile sampler, and you can create little threads as pattern input. You'll get little threads masked by the pattern you did with the shapes!
very impressive! How long does it takes you to understand all these nodes work? I started scan fabrics and I have a hard time understanding the smart auto tile node myself
Sorry for the late answer, it doesn't come all at once to be honest, the basics nodes like transform, blend, shape, and levels were all i worked with for a while, but i watch how other people do the same kind of thing and adapt it to my subject. I've discovered the mirror node (that i'm using a lot in that video) looking at Marcelo Souza's art! Check his artstation here www.artstation.com/kumodot ! It's all a combo of different methods, and hours of trying. Keep it up, at some point you'll get to it
@@paulineboiteux1662 I also bought your tutorial lately, you done amazing work!!
Really nice result! But the video is just too fast. Even with pausing and repeatedly going back to look at certain parts, it's really hard to see what you're doing.
Ah, I see now that adjusting the playback speed helps a lot! :)
holy hell, this looks insanely complicated
laptop is dying))) from amount of nodes obviously)))
easy way, not interesting !!! Respect for your business !!! Your actions are insane, that's cool!
