Yeah, you had me scratching my head for a minute there, wondering why you were reassembling with the cylinder release latch on backwards. LOL!
Not an easy hobby on the brain. Didn’t edit that on purpose.
Good video. I learned much. Thanks!!!
I just got one last summer. Mine made in 1948. I’ve haven’t fired it yet. But can’t wait.
Hey, mine's the same year!
Nice!
I have the same but in 38 special army for French 😍
Nice. Thanks for watching.
Absolutely painful watching the plate being put back on
You got the cylinder release backwards?
I did. As I said, that’s why paying attention matters. At the Milsurp Garage we show it all……we make stupid mistakes sometimes. We can edit them out but all my favorite channels leave in their mistakes so I do the same.
We got it right in the end. Thanks for tuning in.
Hi friend, what's the name of that book? , it seems pretty usefull.!
That is the Numrich parts catalog.
So - no pin in cylinder release system, same as in Army model, different from DS model. Interesting, changes made over time because...?
Yeah, seems these examples don’t have that tiny plunger. You could always just add them in, they would fit, but my feeling is if colt didn’t feel they were necessary, then they’re not necessary.
What a Beautiful Baby! Nervous for You during This! Lol
Got to admit....I was too.
