Mustang gets a makeover and the result is pretty intense

- In the 3 years since starting this build, I’ve focused mainly on power upgrades and little on aesthetics. So in this video I attempt to give my Mustang a fresh look by installing new headlights, fog lights, turn signals, grille, and front bumper. The new aesthetic mods definitely made the overall appearance pop!
I prefer the stock sleeper look. But the car still looks gud!

I dont understand how this guy doesn't have a bigger fan base, the video quality is superior to most car guys out there. He actually puts time into his videos the editing is amazing. Keep it up, would love to see weekly videos.

Looks great! I would recommend hooking up the tri bars to an accessory fuse so they turn on when ignition is on automatically. I don’t think it is too rice.
No matter how my taste in cars has drastically changed over the years from when I had a 3V, this will always be my favorite mustang build series on RUclips. Keep it going, Four Eyes💪🏼

I WOULD HAVE LEFT THE FRONT END STOCK AND IN MY OPINION THE 05 09 IS THE BEST LOOKING MODERN DAY MUSTANG EVER.
Plus 1 on the SVE Bullitt grille. I installed mine 2 weeks ago and everyone likes it. Classic Mustang look.

Four Eyes man thank you for saying this. I love the fogs. Everybody wants to delete them. I think the fogs keep that quintessential “Mustang GT” look.
@@Four_Eyes You can have both! I had a Bullitt grille sent to RaceMesh grilles. They replaced the standard hex material with their matte black mesh for me, and I was able (with slight modification) to fit my fogs behind it. Came out pretty good, I think: imgur.com/EqFHbJp

The Cali-special bumper and smoking the raxium headlights still keeps the stock-ish look. I like how simple/clean your car looks. Keep it up. I really look forward to your videos. I like how honest you are with mods. You don’t tell us everything is great when it’s not. That honesty and doing things a little different than the crowd is what keeps us coming back. And your video quality is top-notch!

Normally i am not a fan of that style grille, but powder coating it matte black really changed the look and the halos really help it pop.
I also like the film tint on thoose headlights. Puts the focus back on the halos in the center.
I had to black out alot of stuff with matte black paint when I installed the 9 bar phantom grille. Didnt realize how tack all the silver looked until it was all on, then had to take it back off to spray.
I think your front end would look good with the cdc aggressive chin spoiler.
Looking good, I just realized I recognize the scenery in the background and saw your plates, good to see another renoite on here. I picked up my 2014 mustang from Dolan Toyota about a year ago.

I added a factory GT 500 splitter to my 08 California Special, It drops the front down a few inches and adds to the front end. Too bad I can't post a picture here. I agree with you, the 05-09 Mustang are the nicest. Keep up the good work!

I kinda wanna do the trunklid mod you did now as well. I have those smoked turn signals as well. They pair very well with led switchbacks.

Love the way it’s coming along, can’t wait to see the finished product.
It looks much better. All the front end needs is a chin spoiler, LED headlight bulbs. And you should definitely wire up the tri-bars on the headlights, I promise it’s not ricey. It’ll make it look like a mustang. The Halo fog lights look good. They just need LED fog light bulbs. And the smoked turn signals look good, they just need switch back LED turn signals. I agree, just clean up the rough edges on the cut up grill, and it’ll be perfect. And get a pony badge and paint it gloss black and put it in the middle of the grill.
I do like the 10-12 front & back ends slightly better but you did a great job, very cool looking ride

I personally like the look of the V6 mustangs without the fog lights so I'm going to delete them and install a bullet grill on my 2013 GT. I think yours still turned out really well and the dark headlights look great!

I think it looks really great. The only thing I would add is a nice chin spoiler to the front. I’m not a huge fan of the grills that you went with but they work with the overall look. Great job with the tutorial as well

Four Eyes, I got the same headlights and coated them with a sealant. really neat headlights indeed. And I wired in the DRL I fast forwarded to the end of your video. A couple problems, the tint you used hides the entire headlight you just installed so imho kinda pointless to even have them and also you didn't wire in DRL. You'll need to access the module in the passenger side kick panel in order to do that and also punch a hole in the rubber piece ahead of the passenger's feet to run the wire to power the DRLs.
You have my favorite s197.
It’s so simple that it looks good, put a chin spoiler on that Cali special bunker and I think you’d be set. As for the grille I’m iffy on it.
