Adding the smaller dampener pulley set does let it rev up quicker and the aluminum driveshaft does too. I also went from 30 lb wheels to 20 lb. That made a huge difference. Get the T56 Magnum XL.

I bought a redfire with the red and black interior 2007 Mustang GT premium a year and a half ago. It has a custom paint job with striping similar to the boss 302. It has 38,000 plus miles and I paid $15,500 with 36,000 miles. It is a show car. I always have compliments at car shows and every time I street it. I’ve put bolt ons that I’ve paid $2,000 for. So for $17,500 I bought my dream car that runs a second or so slower from 0-60 than a “5-0 mustang”. Partly because I have a manual tranny. I’ve never raced any car nor do I intend to. I have had other mustangs, mopars and ricers as well as chevys and diesel pickups that want to race. I thoroughly enjoy my car and that is the ultimate goal for anybody. Anything a 3v hater or mustang hater says negatively to me or that I read that trashes my car doesn’t make me feel inferior, it just makes them sound ignorant. I have a feeling that Nate feels the same way considering all that he has done to Sally.
PMAS is hands down, the best cold air intake, and get the DD sleeve for it, to maximize the horse power Also, get a larger throttle body, for more horse power
I have Headers, JLT CAI, Lund racing Ngauge tuned to e85, DSS aluminum one piece driveshaft, BMR front and rear bumper support, BMR k-member. I make right around 500HP.
DO NOT GET 4.10 gears unless you’re strictly doing track times. Everything else street/highway 3.73 are the much better gear overall. And they still aren’t bad for the track as well
great vid man. Ive always liked this era of mustangs (and rn im looking at a very nice 07 gt) but was always disappointed with the low 300hp numbers. but with this new knowledge I think its definitely worth it with some time and love put in.
Bro, you need to step up your tire game... 555s are ok for the street as well as the MT SSs, however they don’t like heat! If you do a burnout they get oily not sticky... you can just spin them over for a quick burnout to get debris off them but a burnout is not good for 99% of street tires. Look at tires with around a 200 tread wear (heat rating) for good traction, but be warned they suck when it’s cold.
I have a 3V but my opinion,If you buy a 3v stock you gonna spend a good $4000-$6000 on parts bolt ons just to still be a lil slower than a stock 5.0 Get a 5.0 3Vs are trash.
If you skip the Bolt ons and go straight to boost you’ll make just as much power as them though.... so it’s not trash. You could spend 14 grand on a 5.0 or spend 7 on a v3 and then supercharge it for another 4-6k and you’d be just as fast the 5.0
AX7 Duran I’d highly recommend trying them old pushrods though, definitely doesn’t have speed stock but the Fox bodies and the early sn95 are some of the funnest cars you can drive, and for the price to make them fast it’s absolutely fantastic

Does the block have machine work (is it the stock 4.6L with bolt ons)? I'm planning on doing the same to my car but (2006 GT) the block is getting bored and stroked to a 5.0L with a .20 over and 11 to 1 compression ration, ceramic coated pistons and stroker kit from MMR. After that's all done I'm looking for the same bolt ons or similar to yours.i also put comp cams in it and I'll tune it after I get all the bolt ons.

Mod to dollar wise, you are wrong. He’s talking basic bolt in’s, while you are talking about ripping the motor out and rebuilding it. A forged internals kit is like $2k alone and then getting the block machined is like another $500 or more. None of that is worth it if you can get 350-400hp with easier bolt-ons plus a tune or 5-600hp on boost+a tune... You only need to do what you’re talking about if you’re trying to make 700hp+ although there are many s197 running 700hp on stock internals plus boost...
I don't understand why you don't trade this in for a 2019 Mustang GT...You live at home, you can afford to swap it out, plus no matter what mods you do the new ones will always be faster.

I mean the JLT is the biggest but the Roush is like the Airaid. I wouldn’t change it out, the Roush bolts up a lot cleaner than my JLT did
