Thanks for the vid. I notice that you popped the pump back in the other way around, interesting that it works either way, but then I guess they'd put an offset/pin/etc. if it was critical :-)
Very simple to follow, My partners Evoque keeps saying something like “2 wheel drive only, limited traction” I’m assuming it’s the haldex pump filter that needs cleaning out?
Hey mate, I followed your video and cleaned the haldex on my disco, but the fault is still popping up on the dash, 2 wheel drive traction reduced😢 is there anything else you can recommend before I take it to LR and have my pants pulled down
Can you show how to replacace the Oil Piston Cooling Jet Solenoid on this model? Or do you offer a service to carry this out? I already have the part, but it looks difficult to reach on the floor.
Hi I am concerned I have bought a kit from a NCA motors on eBay they seem to sell a lot of servicing kits , can anyone share there experience with them or any feedback back , I’m a complete novice. Thanks in advance
I hit this as well... but I measured what I took out and put exactly the same back in and have a guess where that level was? Yup, just about exactly the same as the "not a fill level" plug!
I have learned something new from your video, thanks for sharing your knowledge, as always great job, many thanks
Glad to hear that! Thanks for the comment
Want to thank you for this, I did this service on my 2017 ds today. Went just according to plan. Couldn’t have done it without this . Appreciate it.
👍👍
Tak!
Thankyou very much!
Cheers for this, easy to follow mate 👍
No problem 👍

Great video , i’m assuming this is the same for a 2017 Jaguar XF ? Cheers

You haven’t taken off the side of the sump where all the gunk collects. Take that black sump off you’ll see it filled with gunk 😁
Nice one Gavin 👏👌
Thanks mate

I’ve got a video on the channel already for this job mate , it’s on an evoque .. but exactly the same 👍
With that much gunk on the filter I'm surprised it didn't burn out the pump. I do mine once a year to avoid this
Definelty worth doing it on a regular basis 👍
I saw that it increases the voltage/amps/work in the control module and can burn that out if the unit isn't serviced...

Km?
Ex mechanic here, been retired a number of years. Not actually come across this unit, what’s its function? Thanks…..
It's to activate/de-activate via oil pressure drive to the rear wheels of the vehicle 😉
Question, land rover tells me that the fill level is NOT until the oil leaks outs it will be over filled? can tou help with this?

Found the same to be true!
@@zarly59 Just got a reply from Austen at Bell Engineering (Haldex specialists) and he said "just fill it to the fill plug level"... :-)
@@handycrowd hey, thank you for that extra effort. That's awesome and reassuring. Have a great day, sir.
Great vid! But please put some gloves on 😮 you'll thank me in 20 years time!
Easier than the haldex 4 on volvo
👍👍
screw the haldex motor incorrectly (half a turn) !!!
