Since the day I got me Element, I have wanted to have exactly that sort of rear seat setup. And I have spent hours & hours measuring, and creating sketches and plans, and trying to come up with some model to work out exactly how it would work. All I have achieved is frustration! :( But now that I know it's possible to purchase the hinges for a jack-knife sofa, it all makes sense! This is FANTASTIC! I'd love to get his plans to see exactly how he got that amazing result. Even if those are not available, at least now I can watch this video a few times and am MUCH closer to working it out. THANK YOU!!!
The best one so far. That would be perfect for my music studio idea, I’ll just use storage one the top and add and mixed with the portable showe and removable sinks from tiny campers to be able to do anything in indoors if need it
That is a beauty and certainly one of the best conversions ever! The careful thought and obvious work put into it is remarkable. I love scavenging ideas from your videos and I will surely liberate some out of this top shelf E.
I loved my Honda Element I wish I never sold it. Nothing I’ve found compares. The element has probably the best designed interior. As far as size comfort and usefulness. I traded my element for a brand new Jeep renegade. The renegade was nice but it wasn’t even close in comfort and being able to move stuff. The element is like a small van The only thing the renegade had was gas mileage it got over 30 miles on highway the element didn’t even get 20. The element had more power and drove great. I was driving over 100 miles a day 4 times a week. I got paid for miles. With the renegade it was making me money the element was breaking even. Hindsight the element was a better but I sold the renegade after putting 75,000 on it and still made money. Now I have a full size Chevy van. This van is what I’ve always wanted just needs to be made 4x4 and a high top. Then it will be perfect. Great video. I always wanted to make mine a sleeper but I have dogs and they can’t climb. The dogs loved the element more then the Jeep. I believe it’s because of the floor space. My big old pit bull loved riding in the element she’s gone now two. I miss both the car but I really miss my big girl. I can’t describe the good times we had in that element living in Daytona beach. The perfect place for that design. Sorry for the long story it’s just the Honda Element has so many wonderful memories attached.
Planning to do a road trip across the United States with my wife (we are from Mexico), wanted to buy one Honda element upon arrival to Houston Texas (we arrive on January 28), what model and year do you recommend for us, any help would be much appreciated, love your channel.
I decided to get those seat covers and I ran into some issues. 1) the smell, I don’t like the smell of chemicals and the smells was very overwhelming 2) you have to cut the seat cover a bit to get the seat belt part to come out 3) you have to remove the bolt of the seat and it you don’t have an impact hammer is impossible to get the bolts out 4) too much slack, in the video it doesn’t show but there is a huge amount of slack of material in the front 5) It is a memory foam construction but the stitches are not very strong. I accidentally pull from the wrong side and got some stitches to come out 6) it does not fit the head rest correctly. The Honda element seat has a small V shape construction, you could possibly get a perfect fit with a sewing machine but is extra work. Overall in the video it looks great but the seat covers cost $120 and to get a sorta okay fit is not worth it. The Walmart $20 seat covers fits better than this one, those are elastic mesh type of material so it fits the seat perfectly. You would better off with the original OEM Honda element covers
@@Element_lifestyle struggling for hours to get a perfect fit and couldn’t, also the bolts were very very stuck for me. I hope this helps others because it’s a large investment. I’m weighing what I’m paying for and what I’m getting. For others a bit of slack or the other thing’s listed above won’t be a huge of a deal but for me they are.

OMG.....One of the best Element builds I've ever seen!!!! Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure!
Wow! I'm very impress how clean & stylish that camping element looks. Love that shower, cooking unit too! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏾

I have a 2006 Element, and i must say that is the best build I've seen.
This build is really nice!! He did his homework on that interior!
Sure he did 🙂👍
That's slick! Honda needs to take a cue from these and offer a variety of factory mods in any future "modular" designed Element replacement.
Pretty cool! 🎉 👍🫶I love the reworking of the rear seat to make a bed 🛌 👍👍🥰
Glad you like it!
I love that back seat

OMG sick build! I would pay top dollar for this. Such a diverse vehicle.

That’s awesome. Looks like an epic trip. 2003 - 2008 preferable 07-08
PS, can't do that in a jeep, only in a Element.
