- A great idea! A Honda Element is a fantastic vehicle to convert into a tiny home, especially for a mechanic! Its boxy shape and spacious interior make it an ideal candidate for a DIY camper conversion. Here are some ideas to get you started:
1. *Raise the roof*: Consider installing a roof rack or a lift kit to create more headroom and space for storage or a bed.
2. *Insulation and flooring*: Add insulation to the walls, floor, and ceiling to make the space cozy and comfortable. Install a durable and waterproof floor, such as vinyl or laminate.
3. *Windows and ventilation*: Add windows or skylights to bring in natural light and provide ventilation. You can also install a roof fan or a vent to improve airflow.
4. *Electrical and plumbing*: Install a deep cycle battery, an inverter, and a solar panel to provide power. You may also want to add a portable water tank and a camping stove or a portable grill for cooking.
5. *Storage and organization*: Utilize the Element's cargo area for storage, and add shelves, cabinets, or a storage bed to keep your tools and gear organized.
6. *Comfort and amenities*: Consider adding a portable toilet, a camping shower, or a portable shower tent for comfort. You can also install a mini fridge, a microwave, or a portable cooking station.
7. *Safety and security*: Always prioritize safety and security when living in a vehicle. Install a security system, a safe, and a first aid kit.
8. *Mechanic's touch*: As a mechanic, you can customize the Element to fit your needs. Add a toolbox, a work light, and a portable air compressor to make it a mobile workshop.
9. *Tiny home comforts*: Don't forget to add some comforts like a cozy bed, a reading light, and a portable heater or AC to make your tiny home on wheels feel cozy and inviting.
Remember to always follow safety guidelines and local regulations when converting a vehicle into a tiny home. Happy building!

That's the most tricked out E-camper I've seen . Great job!
Thank you
This is the absolute best build out I have ever seen on an Element! Sure wish they would start making these cars again.
Thank you so much 🙏
This guy has the coolesst element ive ever seen, when i saw his element i knew i want one in the near future
Thank you , I hope you will get one soon.😎🙏
Tomato is beautiful, and has all the best upgrades and mods!
Thank you 👍
Miguel has literally the best Element in the game IMO. Looking forward to doing a similar buildout myself when I get my rooftop tent. Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring us all! 🙏🏼🙏🏼👍🏻👊🏽
Thank you. Looking forward to see your upcoming build. 👍🙏
Tomato is so fun :) can't weait to see the theater set up.
Oh , I forgot to add a clip of the theater. I’ll post a full video of it tho . Thank you for your comment and watching 🙏
I can't wait this is too cool@@Element_lifestyle
Hands down the best build I have seen so far, would love to have one just like this.
Thank you
Tomato is one of the best Honda Element out there. Thank you for sharing your video 🙏
thank you so much, Glad to share.
I really like the design of your build, it’s clean and efficient. Like that you kept the area by the window open with the inset cabinet. I was hoping you would show more of the bed build, I’ve seen other videos and it’s always skipped, however, you did touch on it more in this one. 👍 overall, very nice, inspire. I want the swivel seats.
Glad you like it! I can always make a video just explaining how the bed is put together. 🙏
Beautiful, and such a thoughtful, practical, yet stylish build. Love your videos.
Thank you so much!
If you're ever coming to Connecticut I have a great campsite for you.Thank you for sharing your goodness❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊

Thank you very much Alan! 🙏

Thank you so much from Tomato & I 😎🙏
Nice
Wow, 'Tomato' is gorgeous. I love the colour but also the great build. I love that it looks great but is also so practical and well organised. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much! 😊
Well done!!!! So many ideas and tips I've not seen before.
Glad it was helpful!
Making me want to down size to an element. So well thought out! I enjoy the view from the E camper 👍🏼
Hi Audrey, it will be so cool if you get an Element. The have enough space for a build :)
Got the Open country also.
Perfect tire for the element
i have the same, they got me through a winter in tahoe with fwd!
I have the Toyo in both of my Es . Great tires some of them made in USA
Yes,I'm suprised how Much Tread they have And still Not to loud on the road...I sound proof my Element so that helps alot
I have Toyo’s on my 2001 (original owner 😊) CRV, and will be putting the same on my 2003 MT Element. Love my Honda’s!
@@giselleplantbasedvegan9174 both awesome vehicles 😎
What a great rig! Awesome job. Seeing your Element makes me sad I sold my 03 last year. I really miss that car.
Thank you . Elements are cool cars to own 👍
Thank u for sharing all the specifics!! Can’t wait to implement some of your ideas!!
You are so welcome!
You've done an amazing job with your Tomato Miguel. I appreciate you sharing these videos with the Element community. I love everything you've done to your rig. My only suggestion is folks should be really careful about covering the two back windows on the passenger side. We all know Elements already have too many blind spots.
I appreciate that!
Great looking setup! Greetings from NYC!
🙏
I have a camper van and a Subaru. A vehicle like this would allow me to ditch both of those.
So Awesome. I want my '08 like this!
🙂👍🙏
This an excellent build. Really nice!
Thank you 🙏
Awesome build.
🙏
Nice setup!
Thank you so much
I got that exact portable toilet
I am 6-4 240# and can sit on it
This one of thr best most tasteful element builds. Only thing I'd recommend which I did as well- mod your hitch and/or swing arm to pull it in closer to the bumper.
Thank you so much. That’s a mod I want someday the bumper tire hitch. My friend element44 is working in one 🙂
Love it!
sweet whip bruv
🙏
Hoping to see you in NC camp out.
Please find me and say Hi. So looking forward to
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Amazing E-camper you have there Miguel! Hope to see it and you in person at the PNW Elements meetup this August! 🚙🌲🏔🌄
I hope so too! Looking forward to
Your videos are great! I got a 2005 Element last September. I am adding a few mods but trying to keep it as minimal as possible. I really like your ideas. Can you put a link of some of your gear, such as molle storage, refrigerator, etc. thanks! Great tour of your tiny home!
Hi, thank you . Yes , I was working in the gear list 🙏
Seriously! ❤🍅 ❤
🙏🙏🙏
This guy have a channel? His set up is nice
Yes, here:

🙌
👍👍👍
I am speechless. Does that count as a comment 🙂😅
Haha, it does 🙏
@@Element_lifestyle good 😅
That’s a great build. Do you run CRV struts all around or only in the rear?
Thank you, I just have bilstein crv rear struts. And also swift springs
That’s a lovely accent you got there ..New Jersey?
Thank you 🙏. Peruvian accent 😅
Awesome build. If I may ask, what kind of gas mileage are you getting with the lift, tires, and added weight in the element? Thinking of lifting mine and getting some all terrains and just want to have a realistic expectation. Thanks!
Thank you , I’m getting 20 mpg on the freeway. I just tune up my element 2 days ago so looking forward to see if it gets better
What's Miguel's RUclips channel?
What can you keep on the roof rack and still be able to pop up and use the ECamper? Will it support an awning (rolled up of course) when the ECamper is popped up?
I still using the ecamper struts that came with it. One of the reason I didn’t add the roof rail to save weight. I am planing to add a shadyboy awning which weight 14 lbs . Hopefully not need to upgrade the struts
@@Element_lifestyle thanks for the reply Miguel! I’ll be watching to see how that goes!
