For the person who said “you’re not 16 anymore” BOOO! You can be fit at any age as you have just proven climbing up and down like you did so kudos to you and by the way younger ones don’t have nothing on us. I’m 61 and folks think I’m 45-50 all the day long ❤🎉
LOL! Thank you for your kind cheerleading. I agree, and when I am "told" that I Can't Do This, or that I "Need" to do it differently, I try to remember that these are just rules made by people who don't do this. I guess that I am a "Rule Breaker!". Cheers!
You could cut the curtains down and use the leftovers for the other windows. I am a sewist and sew almost everyday😆. I quilt and do wool primitive wool appliqué. Got to have something going for my hands at all times.
I use a handy laundry folding step stool 13 inch. It’s super light, sturdy and anti-skid from Amazon. I love my stool and I use it for everything. Would also be nice for getting up on the back of the truck or on top if you needed something. If you put a little covering on it it would make a great side table for your cot! Did you ever yell at a screen saying ... “do this, do that..stop!”? When your tent was sticking out the side of the cover I just had to accept that you weren’t going to listen to me 😆 This was so much fun, I feel like I’m there with you. I love the way you video. Purple is so you, joyful blessings!
Omg - I got behind the times & ✨Mindy✨ got a different Element! Congrats, it’s beautiful!! Wow, more versatility for sleeping, more headroom - what a blessing. That tent topper is awesome! Room in the passenger seat for the occasional co-pilot, let me know if you come thru Indiana…😄 You are very deserving of this, dear lady - I look forward to your future adventures!
Love the pop top. I think you would enjoy watching “Little Camper” to get camper ideas. This is a man who camps in Japan, well organized and neat van camper. Thank you for sharing your adventures are always informative and entertaining. ❤
@@NinthElementIf you’re interested in putting in a sink “Solar Camper Car” has a small functional sink and he show how he put it in. This is a nurse that lives full time in his car.
99% of the people that put sinks in their van campers do not use them. It is wasted space. For over 30 years I have done the H2O & Vinegar in a spray bottle, and it works perfect. Cheers!
Very nice can’t wait to see all you do with your new home 💜 I am still looking for my new home I can’t wait to get back on the road . God bless and safe travels Mindy 💜
Hey mindy those cushions could go on the cot, just tuck the odd part under the cot against the chair. Or you could have put the new one on the top of the thin ones or use it for the cot
I use a step work platform I got from Harbor Freight as my seating and step to get up into the camper. HAUL-MASTER 18 In. Step Stool Working Platform - Item 66911
I wish they would make the top of the E-Camper a little higher so you could store duffle bags on side if you use a single size bed. Maybe 8 inches higher!!
this would be a better rig for me to drive to work than my truck or suburban. breaks and lunches would be so good. ESPECIALLY a fan of the rotating seat in the 9th element. my coworker has the seat brackets but hasnt installed them in his element yet. what i really like is that you have another element so you are never truly stranded. you can swap things, know what extra parts you need so youre never fully down, keep going or fall back.
Pretty cool Mindy you'll be able to also store things in nice container,s under the cott & Isn't it awesome that you received some gifts to help you out how kind. The camper mattress looks comfy I like that, and your curtains, so happy for for you this is going to be exciting to see what you come up with, Watching from Ontario Canada .
Wow! Really like your Tenth Element... and your step by step approach to fitting it for optimum adventure. A possible suggestion for climbing to the loft might be a bunk-bed ladder found at a used furniture store... that could easily be stored on that cool TOMSHOO camp cot or on the interior side wall while traveling. Thanks for sharing your Tenth Element build adventure! 😊👍
Happy Saturday to you Mindy and US "Cats, Kittens, and Feral Souls"(Flash back to Miguel's )🥰 Thanks for sharing considerations for the minimal basic starts. Awesome new mattress to try - looks comfy. Look forward to seeing the kitchen for Coffee ☕🍵 and Miso station...pun intended! Good to see you Healthy and Happy ☯ Sending Best, Magdalena
Hello my friend 👋🏻✨ I really enjoyed watching you pull this together ❤look fabulous and well made 😊Congratulations on the success of positive coziness and excitement 😊stay safe and happy 😆 ❤
I would miss the open moonroof with the tent maybe. Thanks for the curtain trick. I strung cord around the sides and back and just use clothes pins and random colorful big scarves for privacy. Don't know why I didn't extend it across the front the way you did. I'll have to try it. I prefer sewing by hand too. Good luck with the build.
I just started watching your channel today and.i must say you are a breath of fresh air. Your videos and editing are so good. What do you use to film with? Gonna binge watch now.🍓Thank you.
Hi Mindy. Congrats on adding 10th, to the family. Great video, on the " light" build process. Here you go again, lol. If you don't mind, I have a couple suggestions. Obviously, a little thinner, tri-fold, would fit better. If you moved the mattress in the pop up, over to the driver side, you would still have your headspace, when sitting on the cot below. Maybe a maker,( like Rob Deezy), could creat a step up, to ease the climb, into the loft? I'm very interested, in softer, and lighter builds, so I'll continue to follow your progress. Hondaminium, thank you for sharing that, great name. You are inspiring me, to get back into my own Element build. It's actually done, and a good one, just a little bit tight. I have ideas, now to get busy on them. Happy travels! 🚙
You should just get a low seater lounge chair instead of a long cot. It would give you a ton more space and then you can get a small short table to go over your lap so you can use the computer, eat, etc.
I am down in Bay Area California and renovated a small camper but I’m planning to sell it and just camp out of my pilot. Wonder if I can add a tent like that to my suv as well. It would be cool to camp together sometime. Maybe you’ll have a meetup for any type of suv not just the Element. I plan to do a camp trip soon to test out my suv and I am really glad on your review on the mattress but would like to hear updates after you sleep on it a few nights.
Call Ursa Minor in San Diego to see if they can install a tent on the pilot. Also. Google "Roof Top Tent Installations" as there are new companies coming to the table every day. Good luck, Cheers!
That is a super sweet rig mindy. Love it. ❤ The k.i.s.s method would be great, less weight you'd be carrying around with a lot more space and be easy to take apart to clean or work on it. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it and your adventures in ole 10th 😊 🥂 🕊️
I remember your first few no-builds in Ninth, which I thought were pretty ingenious. Congrats on finding an eCamper, Mindy! I'm still on my quest to find a low mileage, pre-2010 with a moon roof, AWD and manual transmission. How long is that cot? How difficult was it to assemble? It seems the height might be adjustable? And, it folds down small for storage in its bag apparently. The third sleeping option must remain a mystery...😊 What's going to happen to Ninth?
Keep looking Robin, they exist. Washington has the best prices in the country. The cot is easy, and I will show that at some point, as I don't want to overwhelm folks with Sponsor Ads. The 3rd sleeping option is clutch TBC. Cheers!
