vw gti 2.0t lover Had on both Leon and GTI straight pipes and the Leon FR was a 6 speed manual gearbox!(the output power of Leon was incredible-it was feeling way faster than the GTI!)
Performance Cars ok, thanks for the feedback. I'm in America so I don't see no lovely Leons. I've had this car for about a year now. Just looking to straight pipe it. It all most is. It only has the resonator I believe. 2.5" exhaust from the header back untill it reaches the first muffler. The second was cut off and just a tip was installed on the end of pipe at the end. But I wanna delete that muffler/resonator (not sure which one it is) . But I'm scared of back pressure issue on my turbo.
@@vwlover4677 I know this is an old comment, but you having no post turbo back pressure is what you WANT. If you have pressure issues between your cylinders and your turbo, then you have an issue but having no exhaust after the turbo is the FASTEST way to get back pressure out of the system. You don't want pressure going back against the exhaust turbine, it'll work against the turbo and actually cause issues. This is why you'll see alot of drag cars equipped with turbos having an exhaust literally right out of the hood or simply a turndown right off the exhaust housing on the turbo. Post turbo pressure exiting the system is what you WANT for bigger hp numbers and turbine longevity
Salut. Ce modificari are masina de scoate explozia la schimbarea vitezelor asa tare? E una din putinele de pe net care se aude asa rau. K03,K04,soft cutie ? Care e secretul si care sunt pasii care trebuiesc urmati daca detin una absolut stock ? Mersi !
Salut, Alex! Masina avea admisie schimbata, trebuie sa caut niste poze prin laptop, pentru ca nu mai tin minte denumirea! Evacuarea era cap coada goala, turbina standard(K03), si era resoftata! Undeva la 270 cp, DSG ul era in varianta 100% standard! Pe langa admisie curatata, motoras clapeta admisie inlocuit, bobine si bujii noi..nu avea alte modificari! Cand suna atat de tare, masina mergea oarecum limitat!(nu am aflat problema niciodata, pentru ca am dat masina si mi-am luat un focus ST!) Cred ca explicatia pentru explozii era faptul ca masina mergea cu un amestec bogat si ce nu ardea, exploda pe evacuare la schimbarea vitezelor!
Salut :) Sunt in cautarea unui Golf 5 GTI dar nu m-am decis inca ce transmisie sa aiba masina, dupa experienta ta ce parerea ai de DSG sau de manuala? Multumesc frumos
R4W salut!Ca sa ti faci o idee..am avut Leon FR 2.0 tfsi si GTI mk5 dsg(ambele sunt pe canalul meu de youtube!)- recomand calduros DSG ul atata vreme cat iei o masina intretinuta!Altfel mergi pe manuala! DSG ul face toata treaba foarte ralid, placut la condus si cine spune ca automatele sunt lente..se inseala grav! Placerea de a conduce e mai mare la DSG decat la o manuala..plus exploziile cauzate la schimbarea treptelor..sunt priceless!
Am inteles.. multumesc de raspunsul rapid, inca ceva am vrut sa va mai intreb, legat de straight pipe ( nu stiu traducerea pe romana :)) nu exista probleme din cauza sunetului? legal ma refer, pentru ca intr-adevar suna foarte bine
R4W Straight pipe= teava goala!(nu este legal...suna mult mai puternic decat cu finala si intermediara+catalizator!) Exista straight pipe cu intermediara gen pt Focus ST/RS-Cobra Venom, KMS section 18, Miltek Ultimate!
Sounds good. I wanna do the same but I have the 6 speed. Do you have any problems with back pressure.

Evacuatea era pe 63
