- Farah continues to champion it’s roots in music and subculture with a new partnership with legendary London sound crew, Rampage.
To celebrate Notting Hill Carnival 2017, Farah hosts the iconic stage and reflects on the evolution of the sound system in popular culture; a place where fashion and music merge as one.
Caribbean people bringing some culture to the UK....adding some spice to that bland culture
Sound System culture is so much more than were often led to think.
I don't know how consider this... a documentary about sound system culture made by a (quite expensive) clothing company... I don't know. However, the doc is nice.
Been in sound system since I was 15, was a singer for Scarpion hi power from Harlesden. Cut duplate at Terry Newman studios and Dub vendor at lavender Hill Clapham jct with gussie prento... No music lesson from school could teach me to sing to a crowd at 15, soundsystem is and was my music apprenticeship....
Please don't take this the😃 wrong way. But a DJ is like a magician without a trick 😁 i love you guys
The Influence of UK Sound Systems, a great trip down memory lane prior to visiting Notting Hill Carnival 2017

Proppa Tingz, some great memories, like; Tippa going from King Tubby's to Saxon was like a top footballer million-dollar transfer signing. In fact, that was a watershed moment, because it brought Brixton and Lewisham together... Remember I told you!... Trussssssss.
I always describe Bass as not something you listen to or hear passively is something that's being done to you
What a lovely short documentary and seeing Sweetie Irie on it was great as bought his 1991 album.

Low (infrasonic) bass has its roots in fear.
