5:52 - It was genuinely difficult for me to find this image about body positivity that actually included people with real disabilities. Fat acceptance has been entirely taken over the body positivity movement. If you actually read the article that I showed here, it's pretty much just about fat acceptance despite the image showing someone in a wheelchair and another person with a prosthetic leg. I don't think I saw one reference to teaching acceptance of the way their body looks to people with disabilities. Though I have said this all along, now I can with full confidence say that the modern body positivity movement was NEVER about people with disabilities and was ALWAYS about food addicts not wanting to deal with their addiction. They are just grouping themselves with people with real disabilities to censor their critics; which, in my opinion, is quite abusive and insulting to people who have issues with their appearance that were not caused by their own bad choices.
People like the lady in this video don’t live in the realm of reality, still enjoy these vids though. Keep up the good work👍🏾
Whenever I talk about "single payer health care" with people in my neighborhood, regardless of political leanings, they understand that letting the government become a "single-payer" for everyone's health problems will inevitably lead to taxpayers having no choice in whether taxpayers should pay for the health problems which people caused themselves by eating poorly.
Modern society sucks
i can confirm this🤣 i used to be very fat and always thought i was healthy and all that bullshit. took losing the weight to just realize it was feelings of hopelessness and not wanting to get better. as much as i am ashamed to say i pulled some of the shit this woman did and other bs health claims like thyroid and all but in the end all that matters is effort👍
I'll be honest, I’ve always had a preference for fat/chubby women. Attraction is very difficult to explain because it’s different for every person. I’ve always had this preference, I believe it can be explained but I’m not completely certain. I used to be ashamed of it, and I felt very much embarrassed about who I was attracted to, especially since obesity is universally frowned upon and understandably so. Even though I don't agree with the whole fat acceptance movement and their nonsensical message of how being morbidly obese is healthy, I still find bigger women very attractive.
her battle with anorexia was incredibly one sided, the anorexia didn’t stand a chance
She won. completely victorious! lmao
Lol, that's mean...
No duh, she’ll win just by thinking and sitting on it 😂
😂😂😂😂
One sided is one way of putting it , delusional is a better one
“ I’m fat because I don’t eat “ the fact this kind of logic is being normalized is insane.
"I feel like a woman" is a movement now putting a justice in the supreme court of the USA.
War is peace. Ignorance is strength.
She identifies with not being able to eat enough calories to maintain her weight. Obsessive desire to lose weight by refusing to eat? I suffer from that sometimes
Just another manifestation of leftism
The people trying to normalise this nonsense are stupid and just as in denial as Tess. They clearly need help to realise their eating habits are unhealthy, but would rather close their ears to it and claim other BS to make themselves feel better, whilst completely ignoring the fact they're harming other people with what they say.
Honestly, when is this crap going to end? Because it's not funny, it isn't cute and it's definitely not going to help the people that really need it.
It's pretty sad how becoming a "professional victim" can be a thing in America.
And that reason I read American news.
And only in AMERICA
It is probably because of all of the economic and other issues America faces.
I would probably give America maybe 50-150 more years of being around at best before it collapses if nothing changes.
And a pretty lucrative one at that. Just ask the leaders of Burn Loot Murder.
It's sad that people give attention to narcissists who do and say anything that will get them free publicity. The real problem is that people nowadays are addicted to outrage. And people like this woman are simply taking advantage of that.
Her kid wasn't "asking if she had eaten that day" because he was concerned about her "anorexia", he was asking because he was wondering if there'd be anything left for him.
😂😂😂

😆
A 16 year old boy would definitely be worried about not having enough food for his growth spurt lol
That is an insult to anyone who’s actually suffering from anorexia
When your Morbidly Obese, because she is.. any Doctor would tell you that, it can be hard to keep Food down because often the Body still is not done finishing the Prior Meal & there's little room for it to go anywhere but back out. The Body will cause a reflex to throw up, almost telling the over weight person, you don't need this food. Maybe that's why she thinks Shes anorexic? Her body is digesting something other than Air for her to be that weight, highly doubt shes a true Anorexicia Sufferer.
This is insulting to so many people who are struggling with addiction, disabilities, and other mental illnesses.
That's the point. This is like people who are "socially awkward" calling themselves autistic, which is a "smack in the face" to anyone who actually does have autism.

To be fair, starving yourself all day causes you to eat a lot of calories when you do have that one meal which can lead to fast weight gain and eventually obesity.
@@psahota9306 True, starving yourself is a common error when people try to lose weight, so they start to gaining more and more and wonder why.
And her starving herself isn't helping. When she says she's starving herself, she means she won't eat a meal and then the next meal she'll eat double the amount of food anyway so there's no net change.
I've done the same thing before. Used to skip lunch and have done so for 3 years but I'd overdo evening snacks and dinners and that caused me to weigh up to 330 pounds in two years. And it took me a year and a half to lose 80% of that excess weight.
My take is she had two brain cells ; one wandered off and got lost so the other one went looking for it ...

She ate the family
Well she ate anorexia and its entire planet.
The fact she's so vague about what she ate proves she's not anorexic. I can tell you from my own personal experience anorexics know EXACTLY what they eat.
Come to think of it, Jennette McCurdy was very specific about what her mom ate in the minimalist clip.
Why doesn't this comment have more likes?
My mother had anorexia. She used to go to her yearly physicals wearing 3 sets of long underwear, and carry weights in her pockets so her doctor wouldn't realize. It took me going in there with her and yanking up her shirt to get the Doctor to realize. I said, "Ask her what she ate yesterday. Go on." So he did, and she said proudly, because she had eaten something, "One whole bowl of vegetable soup and an APPLE." A month later, though, she had reached 86 pounds, a 5'6" woman, and he only then put her in treatment. As her daughter, I am, yes, overweight, and she used to yell at me that I only said she was too thin because I was too fat. Well. I have eyes. Stop trying to deflect my issues to you. Anyway, eating disorders are not easily dealt with. Rest in Peace, Mom.
And they often write it down so they can be proud of it...
While fat people obviously cannot be anorexic, they sure as hell can be malnourished. Junk food isn't really all that nourishing.
Obesity is absolutely an eating disorder. I witnessed it with a close friend who also
”hardly ate”
10am-drinks 32 oz soda
2pm- drinks another 32 oz soda.
3pm- complains how they “hardly eat” “starve”, yet still gains weight. Proceeds to snack on 1/2 family size bag of chips over a 15 minute period. Gets into odd hyper fixated mode, most likely doesn’t realize just how quickly and copiously they scarfed down chips.
5pm- orders a shelled taco salad with double beef for “extra protein,” extra cheese, and extra sour cream. Yea.. they somehow managed to unknowingly hack a salad into a giant taco instead.
7pm- 32 oz soda
10pm- snacks on two hotdogs because “they’re sooo hungry” since they “hardly ate all day.”
Morbid obesity is a terrible desease where you always feel hungry, never fully satisfied, and have a disordered perspective on portion sizes, and appropriate meal times/choices. I feel for people that struggle with this.. I really do.. however it’s about time we realize they need just as much compassionate help as other forms of disordered eating. Whoever implied that Tess holiday has “anorexia” is a gross enabler.
Edit: “30 liters” to “30oz”- then to “32oz” because apparently, I don’t know standard “Large” fast food cup sizes.
Yeah. My childhood friend become morbidly obese (over 300 pounds at 5'9) but would ways claim that he rarley ate although I know he drinks mutiple cans of soda a day. That will do it
90 liters of soda a day? Mmmmmhhh are you sure
@@andreab7689 Clearly it was a form of exaggeration to show his friend did drink a lot of soda.
@@andreab7689 lol you got me! I meant oz, but for some reason my brain saw “liters.” It was in fact, a lotttt of soda.. if anything, I might be downplaying the total amount. You can be morbidly obese and be starving 75% of the time but then eating 4 pizzas every day.
The only way to stop the cycle is to eat a diet you can realistically stick to. Often times people don't do this because they believe they can lose weight quicker starving themselves but this ends up in binging 100% of the time.

THANM YOU! This is the reason for the atypical anorexia diagnosis: so many people have died before receiving help simply because professionals don’t think that the person will be in danger. you can still be a healthy weight, and still have massively strained your heart, oesophagus and kidneys to the point of death. the reason it exists is because if it wasn’t made clear as a diagnosis, people would be dying

Eating as early as possible was my highest rule since i wanted as much time as possible in the Day to burn the calories off and all of the other ED patients ive met had the same Rule.

It isn't that she's starving herself, its that she is always starving no matter how much she ate.
TBYS said that if you eat less your stomach will stop stretching and it may lower your appetite. If I feel something, that doesnt necessarily make it true. I gotta make it clear: Anorexia doesn't turn you into a skeleton overnight and it is entirely possible to look a normal, or even over, weight. I doubt her because her behavior directly contradicts what would be seen in someone with anorexia. Anorexia is difficult to hide, and the ways people try to hide it make it more noticeable. Posting mukbangs with unhealthy food is simply not consistent with anorexia. Its her behavior, not her body.
Agreeeee 100000%
Exactly. God knows what she's going through. But that ED is almost like feeling pleasure on feeling you body almost surviving and depriving it from the fuel it needs. Same with the other infamous ED. In neither on those you're exactly going to look 🦴 is not about how you look, but is how You're mentally prepared to hurt your body trough the ingestion (or lack of) food
@@firebirdtrip Right. Like I 100% would believe her if she wasn't constantly and publicly doing things that directly contradict what she's saying, regardless of body type. I know a recovered anorexic, and his body is naturally very lanky, so it wasnt very noticeable at first just by looking at him (aside from dark circles under his eyes), he just looked sick. It wasn't his body weight that had us worried, it was the fact that he got a salad that was just lettuce, no dressing, and took maybe a few bites of it. It was him constantly checking his wrist (body check). It was the fact that his brain was off, he's usually funny and witty, energetic. But you could barely get one-word answers out of him. It was him not wanting to eat in front of others, in order to hide that he wasn't eating. It was the fact that his showering schedule went nuts. It was his refusal to be photographed. Not his weight. If Tess had any of these things going on, I would believe her.
This is it. She couldn’t show herself eating, taking pictures, etc because of the embarrassment she would feel of her body. She is probably right and she is a binge eater.
But i do agree that. She just has disordered eating. its possible for someone with disordered eating to not eat for 5 days then binge on shitty food and mukbang when they reach a breaking point. Thats why its called disordered eating. You dont have a good relationship with your food. Shes a little bit aware of her size too that she has gotten bigger over the years so I can see why she would be doing things like this and then kirbying food afterwards. She doesnt trust herself with food anymore .

That's the thing with a body that big at such a large size even if you go a month or few of calorie restriction and typical anorexia diets doesn't mean it'll be visibly noticable... It takes a while to notice weightloss. And many people suffering from Ed behaviours do go through a binge and restrict cycles. Anorexia is not a body type - anybody could have anorexia not just skinny people. It's actually a big problem where girls with EDs who weren't stereotypically skinny and underweight were denied treatment because they didn't visually look the part or because they didn't look endangered.

she is starving, its correct. If you have insuline resistance the body doesnt burn the sugar but stores it. With continuesly high bloodsugar the body stores everything but cant burn. She literally said in an interview the following..."When I reached out to her, I thought that I was overeating, I thought that I was binge eating," Holliday says. "About five months into our [virtual] sessions, she said, 'I can't diagnose you properly, but if I could I would diagnose you as anorexia nervosa.' " NOTICE HOW SHE WAS TOLD SHE COULDN'T DIAGNOSE HER PROPERLY...that doesn't sound like a diagnosis...
She may have been fat for eating less... yes, this is a thing. However, she is not anorexic. Anorexics don't like to eat in front of people and they vomit whatever they eat. I very much doubt she was doing any of this.😂

@@Willowy13 only short term. If you aren’t consuming enough calories your body literally has to burn fat to function. You can’t beat the laws of thermodynamics
@@DustbinFunkbndr Yep. I can't believe the amount of comments in this video section insisting that you can and will, even over the longterm, gain weight (even to the point of Tess's size) by not eating. It's just not possible. Your body canNOT make mass out of nothing. And guess what? Simply restricting and eating less, for someone like Tess who grossly overeats, is likely then more along the lines of eating a more 'normal' amount of food. I worked as a medical professional for years, and have also studied a lot about health, nutrition, etc. And you do NOT get fat from not eating. Just no. Yes you may hold on to a few pounds at first, but you will always end up dropping if it's prolonged. Smh
A quick example of this is that tv show Alone. (Pretty much one of the only 'reality' tv shows out there that is actual real) When they drop these people off in these remote islands to fend for themselves and use their survival skills, they have to source their own food via foraging, hunting, fishing. They don't know how long they will be out there (point of the show: you start with several people, if you 'tap out' your done. You never know who else has left, or how many people are still at it. Last one standing gets half a mill. It's hard because you have to make your own shelter, and survive for you don't even know how long, but sometimes they've been out there for a few months. Good show actually.) And EVERY SINGLE PERSON who's been on the show (aside from the ones who quit after a few of the first days) lose weight. In fact, some are medically pulled out due to losing TOO MUCH weight (the only people they see are the med staff for periodic med checks, and they monitor their weight due to how you know, you can lose weight from not eating much....).
Tess isn't all that relevant any more aside from inside her little TikTok bubble. She's looking for anything to get her name on people's lips again. She has no other talents aside from taking pictures, so her career is quickly waining.

Interesting Fact, nothing on Planet kills more people than Cardiovascular Disease. Wanna know what the biggest indicator for CD is.. being overweight.. that's why "Body Positivity" is BS when it's applied to Obese people. Body Positivity actually has a place, for Veterans who have lost Limbs or Civilians who were nearly fatally injured in horrific accidents, it's important for them to know that their body is acceptable to both themselves & others. It's not for Obese people to feel better, you should feel not great about yourself, because feeling that way can save your life. There's a reason why a Obese person's body actually causes them physical pain, achey joints & back, health issues pertaining to Mobility, poor Sleep etc etc it's killing you & getting others to accept your Obesity is not going to change that, the only thing it can do at the point is convince others it's ok to be Obese. Cancer doesn't even kill as many people as CD & Obesity...
I know what you mean, there was this girl in my college who overheard I have chronic insomnia(I have ADHD and insomnia is the comorbidity I got, usually it's dyslexia like with a couple of my friends) and then said she does too because when studying for mid-terms she stayed up until midnight -_- Meanwhile I would lie awake in my bed beyond tired and wanting to rest, but being unable to do so...since I was a kid.
I cant say with 100% certainty that this lady has anorexia but from my experience of the condition, it is highly likely that she DOES and anorexia.
Doesn’t someone with Add anorexia also do it for attention & validation?

@@jakub2088 Gasp thats sexist! As a woman, I feel very offended and judged because of that >:( /s
@@robotic_chazzie I'm sorry to hear that. I mean no disrespect, but try it out for yourself. Try to judge another woman for her negatives and look at her reaction. I guarantee, she will react emotionally at her first attempt.
Maybe you are different. I don't know. Not every woman will fall to typically feminine stereotypes. I know guys that are also overemotional.
Look at this, really. There must have been a time when you, as a woman, experienced that. At some point, you have judged another woman and she lost her shit, because in her mind there was that thought "how dare you?". But you didn't care about it, didn't you? Exactly. I'm not saying men never act like that. But it happens more in feminine world. Because you are more socialized in general, more empathetic, more emotion-wise. You care more. I struggled with anorexia 3 years ago and I vividly remember my mother forcing me to eat a cheese stick and me gagging and sobbing choking it down. I would’ve NEVER just “eaten here and there” or tossed random things in my mouth. Every time I ate was a BIG deal. It was never casual.

When I was 16, my weight was around 230lbs. I remember eating almost 2 and 1/2 cups every meal. I had problems such as: Back and Chest pain and gasping for air when trying to sleep at night. Nothing about being fat is healthy, because I experienced it myself.
I also remember, everytime I ate, I always tell myself that this is enough, but after eating I'd go back to the kitchen to get some more. I knew it was wrong, but at the same time I was like I dont care anymore I just wanted to eat more.

Yeah, sure she is anorexic. Eating only 1 whole cake a day, how does she survive?
She was NOT diagnosed as anorexic. Someone not qualified to diagnose just speculated. Obviously incorrectly.
Whoever actually diagnosed her for that (if true, not her "truth"), needs to have all their medical credentials immediately revoked.
I'd have to see the receipts on that diagnosis. I'm not taking the word of a 400lb Woman who claims she starved herself obese.
