Yes I would feel weird
jennifer was so amazing she really makes me think that her silent struggle as she has gotten older is something all of our mom's have gone through
she almost said verbatim what I read about a supermodel who said the exact same thing. As she got older she became invisible. Like people who used to gawk at her when she walked into a room didn't even glance these days. Father time is undefeated
It's something that they will get used to. Although it's a different lifestyle, there's actually a lot of advantages to being ignored. You can think and focus on daily life without having to constantly be anxious about people engaging with you. You can sit in a park and people watch without guys thinking you're waiting to be approached or even caring that you're listening to their conversation. People generally don't care what you have to say, so you can listen more and engage in deeper philosophy. No reason to spend a fortune on makeup, nails, or a fancy haircut and clothes anymore. Really you do see women get a lot wiser and more tranquil as they age... And when they grow with their appearance instead of fighting against it, that tranquility and wisdom they gain IS beautiful.
There's a huge portion of men who go from beginning to end without that attention. Although some of them let it weigh them down too, a portion would have a great deal of wisdom on dealing with the lack of societal love.
@@mirrors8913that‘s so wise
@@mirrors8913Tell me you've never talked for more than two minutes with a woman without telling me you've never talked for more than two minutes with a woman.
The situation you're describing is far removed from the average woman's experience, unless she's incredibly attractive and/or beautiful (or has attractive features) or, alternatively, is either very self-conscious (and thus fears that people are looking at her) or too confident (and thus interprets everything as flirting). What is much more concerning to most of us is the fear that our partner will lose his attraction towards us as we age and that we'll spend our days resenting younger women and girls for still having what once was ours, while we're desperately trying to escape the reality of ageing and dying.
Just to clarify that I'm saying this as a woman who is on the "pretty" side of average or slightly above if I put in enough effort, as are most of my female friends with whom I've discussed this topic. When a woman is talking about getting so much attention from men, she's often lying, prone to misinterpreting or actively dressing provocatively.

It seems like Wissal isn't self aware enough to know the difference between the body type that she thinks is best, and what the general consensus in society may be.
A fit, strong and toned body like she has is beautiful, and no doubt what she defines as beautiful. However, the ideal type for a woman is often described as soft and curvy. She couldn't take a step back from her achievements and her ambitions to see that while she may be the fittest body, her body type isn't the one that most closely resembles the ideal woman.

I'm not really sure that's true, because working out would never give me the "ideal"body type.
I, for example, am naturally slim and somehow I have a flat stomach and even a little bit of abs, although I don't work out, I never did, I eat junk food constantly, I was addicted to harmful substances before, and overall I'm very far from healthy, but no one would guess that I'm so unhealthy because I don't look like it. The same thing is true for my slim friends, but the opposite is true for my thick friends, they're really healthy and are always working out but can't lose the weight, usually because of some hormonal issues, but they're 10 times more healthy than I am, they just don't look like it.
It's a shame that they get judged for being "unhealthy" just because they're thicker, but those same people assume I'm healthy.
But to answer your original point about working out. I felt really insecure watching this video because no matter if I workout or eat healthy there's no way for me to get big breasts or a huge butt, which is the ideal body type nowadays. Surgery is the only option for me and a lot of people if we want to attain that body type.
So the only thing I can do while watching this video is to be insecure and feel horrible about my body because working out won't help and there's no natural way for me to earn the "ideal" body type.
I hope what I said makes sense, English isn't my native language, so please correct me if I'm wrong or if my point isn't clear enough

If it was guys comparing, you wouldn't call it a humiliation ritual.
I don’t see how this experiment is beneficial to anybody. Yes the girls who were voted in the top ten may have gained confidence, but it probably just diminished everyone else’s. All of the women is this video were beautiful, but many of them said they have problems and had relationship with their body and this video probably made it worse.
This whole 100 concept is set up weird, too. Because it's not them deciding anything on any episode as a group. They just chat a bit and self eliminate. This is especially bad but the format overall needs help if they want to keep doing it
Does it need to be beneficial? And no, not all of the women in the video are beautiful. Some make decisions that negatively effect their body. That should not be seen as beautiful, but as something to avoid or improve upon.

This is incredibly uncomfortable. Like, "Ladies I know you feel confident in your bodies, but I need 11 more of you to leave now, please lower you self-image and get out now."
If that's how you read it. You don't need to lower your self image to recognise 10 other girls in the room have a more attractive body. Like you can be insanely attractive and still think someone is just a bit more attractive than you
They definitely need a new host. She doesn't have enough tact or charisma to guide the rounds and get to the objective of the video.
if you have to put yourself down or lower your self image to acknowledge that someone else is attractive or may even be more attractive than you, you may not be very confident or have a very high self image to begin with
Like duhh, why?
@@Malhablada Maybe that,coz this didn't hit home.
What a way to plant or water seeds of insecurities. I’m glad the people who were comfortable enough in their skin didn’t let this number rating bother them, as beauty is more than appearance and people’s opinions differ so my no. 1 could be your 98
2:35 poor girl, this with brutal to have her in a room, ALONE finding out what others thought of her. She handled it well
This felt really sinister to watch… I get that they all knew what they were signing up for and knew they could leave, but to literally place women’s attention solely on the value of their bodies in a society that already does that to us 24/7 just feels so objectifying.
I’m sure most of them came to realize that their value didn’t rely solely on their looks while participating. If that’s the oly thing you got from that video, the problem is on you
It’s motivation
I think for me as a participant is... Yeah value isn't solely on appearance. But also we can discuss appearance clinically and neutrally without it being a mental health crisis, just like we can discuss "who is the tallest" and "who has perfect pitch" and "who has no rhythm" without it being a crisis, and without it diminshing ones own self worth 🙏 not everyone is beautiful AND that's OKAY
@@AriNaNanaExcept everyone IS beautiful in unique ways. If that was seriously the message of this video, that actually makes this video more sinister and disappointing than I realized. WOW.
In that case, we might as well banned and abolish every Miss Universe and Mr International contest.

Actually this would just change how the rate is dont, instead of using average score someone gave to you, you pick the lowest score someone gave to you and then the person with highest such score win (and untie with second lowest score, then third lowest score)
This way if you want to please someone you will have at maximum the score of the person that gave you the lowest score (so if you are trying to please him/her, thats your score).
This have game theory problems, but hey, thats how it must be done, there is no other way.

jess hit the nail on the head. you can acknowledge that you may not be the standard in beauty or intelligence or anything else, but your self image or confidence shouldn’t be dictated by those standards or by the perception of you by others. you can still be sure of yourself & confident in your capabilities, value, & individual beauty while remaining realistic & acknowledging that you may not be the ideal or the societal standards or expectations.
I cried when that first girl chose not to open her envelope and chose to walk away. It was such a power move. Everything she said resonated with me in so many ways. It made me feel not alone, and it reminded me that ultimately it is my choice to subject myself to the pain of comparison and false feelings of Inferiority , brought on by some random group of strangers subjective thoughts and opinions. Advocating for yourself is the definition of self loves. It’s not easy for many people like me to speak up and remove myself from situations that I know don’t serve my purpose or well being. This inspired me to build that courage to be an advocate for myself.
I'm happy that Wissal was "Not the One". Not to be mean, but she seems quite self-centered and self-absorbed.
