He works disgustingly well with Electro Traveler. Imagine being able use all 8 seconds of your burst but then shoot out 4 charge shots because EMC funneled energy to him off field.
Wait how does electro traveler work? I was just thinking “if only there was an off field electro character that could funnel energy so you could use both methods simultaneously…” does electro traveler do this?
@@dawnthenightlightfury1195 skill leaves electro amulets on ground. Active character can pick them up to receive 12 energy and 40% ER for a few seconds. C4 changes that 24 energy restore if the active character is under 35% energy when picking it up.
ult skill is like a electro Xingqui situation but it also restores 1 energy when the active character uses basic attacks. That totals to about 20 energy in 12 seconds.
Passive talent slightly increases energy regen from electro amulets by like 1 or 2 energy.
c2 reduces enemy electro res by 15% for 8 sec
c6 adds another energy particle regenned every 3 basic attacks

Yeah but like, fischl also generates plenty of energy, and then fischl’s A4 is disgustingly broken, and C6 makes oz to shoot a tonshit of hits along with sethos

Same. Running with him is so nice. His hair and clothes. Its important that their behind looks good because thats basically what we see. I love xianyun also because of that. The way her hair sways is so pretty.
The only bow user with a good bow stance.

This dude dodged my 130 pulls. I don't think I've ever been so unlucky with getting so many 4* weapons while pulling.
ikr, I did finally get him C0 but starting at 20 pity I managed to get Qiqi first at 80 😒
They really should add a fate thing for the 4* on the banner.

Yep, I only got him after 110 pulls. Went from C1 to C6 Thoma lol and also got a Mona again. At least I have now a guaranteed pyro archon
I feel like genshin should really start to put their attention to making a better 4* dps unit. Even if they don't want to they're really running out of options

Well a lot of characters I use are 4 stars. Like yaoyao, Thoma, chev, bennet, etc. there are many good 4 stars. There are many bad and forgotten ones as well but with even some 5 stars being forgotten I find it hard to believe they would care to make good 4 stars.

@@ishansharma2463well, you are kinda wrong. Genshin is lacking good 4 star "dps" characters. Only good 4 star dps are I think Heizou and Gaming.
It has a lot of good 4 star sub-dps like fischl, beidou, xiangling, xingqiu etc.
Good support characters like Bennett, sucrose, yunjin, chevreuse etc.
Also remember some of the best buffers are still 4 stars though like Bennett, chevreuse, kujo sara, yunjin, gorou, faruzan, mika etc.
Sthos more like set toes refrence to his skill and connection with cyno

@@k..._...v but her rotation is not quick at all with those 3 totems setup, so I don't think she's considered a quickswap character.
@@Bakashi You don't have to put down totems just before her burst, you usually do her brust at the tail end of her E skill. After that, just put down totems again and swap off.
I just got Alhaitham so my resources are mostly going to him but stoked to invest more into Sethos! I finally have someone that can use Hunter’s Path.

Not relatable. For I just watched this video. Unlike you, who watched this form of entertainment in the first day of its posting.
I'm definitely using him in the future, especially since I'm raising all my 4* carries because I want to challenge myself. With my busted Xiao, plus my somewhat recent additions of Neuvillette and Arlecchino, getting the 36* has been rather easy in the past few rotations of Abyss, so I'm looking for ways to make it a bit more challenging again. Stomping Abyss is fun in its own way, but I want to see what results I can get with weaker teams without the pressure of having to 36* at all costs
oh these end-of-region abysses don't allow for much team creativity, unfortunately. the strong dpses clear them easily, but weaker teams are hard to make work unless you make a busted team on the other side to carry. too many waves per chamber for a weak team to clear. plus things like lectors that take a loooooooong time with almost any team due to gimmicks. so it ends up hard to use "fun" teams on both sides at the same time
Gonna give a Tighnari, Baizhu, Fischle, Sethos team a try and see how it goes since it sounds super fun

He honestly feels more interesting to Clorinde to me gameplay wise between his energy gimmicks and heavy EM scaling letting him function as a hyperbloom enabler without sacrificing much raw damage.

Well I plan on building him to be a charged shot user for co-op. It's not like I need it, but it's fun to use different characters in a co-op scenario (where you play as only one character without swaps).
Do you have a particular build/playstyle reccs for 100% fieldtime? I love his CAs too, but I'm just at zero energy constantly in extended fights 😅. Sac bow?
@@airleamystery4788you can carry a electro gramnam with you. Ok jokes aside the best way to play him to get really close to the enemy and spam his level 1 charged shots. It charges instantly, consumes much less energy, and has no icd, meaning if you have quicken status on an enemy every hit is aggravating.
@@airleamystery4788 100% field time is impossible. If you wanna invest in a charged shot extended field time team for him, Electro Traveler and... Dori (ugh) are good supports for him. Fourth slot should be a dendro support and as FacialFishcl said, level 1 charged shots are better for extended field time usage for Sethos while his level 2 shots are more suitable for quick swapping.

You should try nuking against the Statue of Marble and Brass, since it gets 30% more RES shred than PMA when stunned

Just finished watching, sethos might lack in damage but I think it'll be pretty fun to just agro a bunch of weak enemies and kill them all with a piercing shot. That might be it but it's still something.
When are we going to get an updated tier list for characters and weapons? Would love to see it.
I think you could also fit in a few lvl2 charged shots if your Sethos is overflowing with energy. This will more likely happen if there are much more reactions on field with electro resonance and Fischl or perhaps electro treveler on team. You could prpbably mix the n2walk cancel x8 with a few lvl2 piercing shots if you have nahida and fischl.
I really like his railgun like shots from his burst, quite an interesting unit, although I would love to see his c6 in play!

Since I don’t have an aggravated team yet I was very happy to get C0 Sethos! Now I have a reason to built an aggr team bc before I was severely lacking a n electro or Dendro DPS

i like his kit overall but man i wish he could aim during ult
that way his dmg on ult mode would get increased by like 22% due to charge attack cancels
my bad it would be like 11% due to the extra n2 combo
Not bad really when I tried the demo. Love the instant charge shots. Though I'm going to skip him for now alon with Clorinde. I'm not really short on electro dps.
I was thinking about how Sethos can work, and I thought he'd do better with the hunter set, em sands and goblet, in a furina team where he could utilize his high em for hyperblooms as well as aggravate.
It would be very fun if the disign similarity with Cloclo was on purpose, and they start adding "bad" 4* with same kit as the "good" 5* on every new characters. It's a kind of new pity systeme. xD
Hey, you should see Sethos synergy with Electro Traveler. Quite supprising actually. He can do so many charged attack with electro traveler keep giving Sethos energy. It feel broken.

I find it strange you didnt do the CA spam combos with fischl, i think the lvl 1 spam could trigger more aggravates, which means more fischl dps

Does the bp bow that's supposed to be his signature increase the viability of his CA playstyle vs just walk canceling his ult? I assume itll at least be decent for the 10 not fully charged CA's playstyle

How tight is the timing for walk cancel? Should I be in walk mode? Does it work for us peasants with 150+ ping at all?

the charged attack numbers never show up on scara i remember trying to hit 1 million neuvi ca and the number showed up for like a split second on the bottom of the screen as i fell down

Just asking if in that case guilded Dreams would be better.
The Burst actually considers Normals to be Charged attacks, as odd as that is.
So charged attack damage is the best thing to buff

Funny you should say that, I got Clorinde after 80 pulls but Sethos avoided me when I thought I would have at least get one (but got bombarded with Thomas and Bennetts instead). Until I spend another extra 10 pulls just to get the first copy. 😅

I got Sethos' first copy after 180 pulls while I got Alhaitham after 160 pulls.
Also, Clorinde is the consolation if you don't get Sethos.

I ADORE the way he uses energy. Out of every electro character we have (the main users of ER stats) there has not been a single other character that actually uses up their energy outside of an elemental burst. I hope we get more characters like him in the future tbh because he is super fun to use

I never got to use his burst in the trial due to lack of enegry I didnt understand why before the video, I was really hoping for his burst to be similar to cynos but the truth remains that he did in fact lose his power after all

Fun fact: This Slingshot is sethos 2nd best weapon in slot, his best 5 Star only makes him do 3% more damage, and his signature 4 Star does 15% less damage than slingshot

It's a little sad they didn't make the charged shots just a bit stronger so they would have closer values.
So, he is not completely useless. Nice. I will try using him in my "Tighnari quickswap", whcih is Tighnari, Nahida, Beidou and noe Sethos. Though I do wonder if he is much worse than Keqing, who I didn't got yet, but also want. My goal for him will just be as a dmg dealer while my r1 Tighnari is on cooldown. I do not want to use Lisa, and Beidou alone is not enough.
I was testing him compared to my keqing and his damage is higher using same artifact set. Although I have his c3 so it helps with crit rate and bonus electro damage… of course the range and playstyle is different as well
OK... I've been watching for a while now. What is the secret to being able to get talents upon launch of a new character to 9, 9, and 9 when weekly bosses can only give stuff once a week as far as I was aware. I've been trying to figure out how so many RUclipsrs are able to unlock the talents of new characters to max on release week. While this character uses the wander boss stuff, other new characters do not.
I heard these content creators were chosen selectively and given permission by Hoyo themshelves to access the beta content in "test server".

two on field electro,her and sethos,
one off field, fischl and
one dendro applier plus healer...yaoyao would work... I do not have chlorinde or sethos so it is purely imagination in my part but can anyone please try it once...

C0 clorinde is much better
C0 sethos main damage is burst, but a C6 sethos main damage comes from his 2 level charged shot ( just wanted to say that i know that this is a C0 sethos showcase )
I went in for setos and ended up getting coline at 40 wishes it’s funny cause when I went for choline’s sword and got althems sword at 40 wishes.
imagine putting tighnari sethos c6 gangu and yelan together with the insta charges attacks
I have built Tighnari and Yoimiya both so Sethos feels like a 2-in-1 value pack😂
