- How strong is Alhaitham truly? In this video, I am gonna dive into that question and also share my nitpicks with you. Is he F2P-friendly? Is he easy to learn, hard to master? Is he a top-tier DPS? Does he potentially fall off at higher investment? How about his mirror range? Is he still worth it in the modern day, even with all these other top tier Fontaine DPSes running around?

Terms of dendro application
3 mirrors Alhaitham = on field Nahida
3 mirrors Alhaitham > off field Nahida
Can't wait to pull him next patch. Dendro is the only element where i don't have a main dps for. I got Neuvillette last patch so i will have two top tier dps soon and the best part is that they aren't Bennett reliant (i refuse to use him) lol.
That’s two of my main dps too. Always clear the abyss with them haha
yep! al can use so many cheap teammates to clear, & he's absolutely bennett-free. enjoy him!
bro finally someone else thats bored of bennett being needed for every team. i get hes cracked fine, but i just dont like his character design at all

Its also why i skipped Arlecchino as i don't like any her team options (and will continue to skip attack scaling characters that needs him on their team) even though she's also one of the top dps, but at least Neuvillette and Alhaitham don't want or need Bennett in their teams.

To anyone that is lacking in the dendro market, Alhaitham is a really good initial investment even without Baizhu or Nahida. He is so good with budget characters and the units that synergize with him are the very best in the game so you are being efficient even with your primos, good luck to everyone wishing for him!

Hi. Top 1% Wriothesley main here, and even though Wrio is my favorite character in the game, I have to acknowledge alhaitham as an overall stronger DPS. The fact that a medium investment Al can outperform my high investment Wrio kind of sucks, but if you can’t beat them, join them. I’ll be pulling for alhaitham in 4.7 and I’m excited to add him to my roster
If they meet the threshold of dmg against the hardest content in the game with average investment, all dps units eventually become interchangeable. “Pull who you like” sounds cliche but it’s so true after a while

He feels to be the best dps for f2ps. Like I have c0 neuvilette and Arlechino but this guy heavily outperforms them for clear times. Yeah it mainly is since I dont have the greatest artifacts or signature weapons. Since I just want to level more characters. Its a point that should be hammered down on more how good he is even with low investment.

I have a really old Genshin account that I had abandoned a long time ago but it has a few characters that have become meta after the introduction of dendro and now I have to attempt to fix it somehow (I’m screwed)

I need someone honest opinion because I've pulled alhaithm today but have dendro traveler and aren't sure what i should do?
he can at such a bad timing 😭 if furina wasn't coming after him I would 100% spent all my primos on him
With furina his dmg will increase the value to more invested artifacts like cv and em do to her lower hydro application the quicken uptime will increase also the value of the weapon will increase

If you really like her save A LOT of pulls for c6 kokomi or atleast some starter cons, considering that you really like her ofcourse.
I literally just started playing three weeks ago so thanks for keeping us baby players in mind. I'm soooooo bummed I have to skip Wanderer because I love my pint sized sass factories but I really really want Alhaitham and I still need to hoard a dragons chest for Zhong Li 😍
I started 3 weeks ago too, mindlessly pulled wanderer in 4 days after playing, and he's so good for exploration makes my game feels easier esp in liyue where there are lots of mountains 😂
well i think xq is better overall than yelan in quickbloom alhaitham (if you are not fighting with a flying enemy that is) sure yelan has good personal dmg and gives dmg buff to your character but dmg reduction and interruption ressistance from xq is no joke it saved me from dying a lot of time
Xq is bad is quockbloom teams specifically because his hydro application is too high... And so you just play him in normal Hyperbloom team... Quickbloom team is there to maximize al haitham personal dmg along with proccing Hyperblooms.. Yelan and furina are better cuz their hydro application won't override the dendeo application

How much will he fall off with Baizhu (or even Kirara) over Nahida?
I'm kinda tempted to go Al/Baizhu/Furina/Kuki or something of the like, I'm absolutely missing out on Dendro damage without the radish.
Nahida with R5 Prototype Amber and a Shinobu with good HP substats will be enough to sustain for Furina. Just much less comfortable.
Radish is 100% worth it.. As of late tho i feel on field dps have increased in value..
he's actually still very good w/ baizhu, my favourite al team is al/furi or yelan/em raiden/baizhu for comfort
i will say i skipped nahida for the longest time & baizhu fulfilled like nearly all my dendro needs
nahida is great but not a must, because al's own dendro app is so high!
@@Juice-chan heck, I guess I could stick Shinobu's set on Raiden. There's a cetain silliness to using her as a support at c3r1 I can appreciate hahaha

Just pulled for him and got chlorinde's weapon
I use Iron sting for him and it's actually decent just like harbinger of dawn but without condition
I was sure I would be pulling for him, but nah - those numbers might be good, but he feels outdated with his animations and design compared to even Chlorinde or any other new character. I so whished they would powercreep Raiden with Chlorinde, but they didn't so oh well...saving up for Furina I guess
Minimum you will need c 1 for to get quick get E skill cool down
as a c3r1 Arle haver yes she is very expensive to build and eats a LOT of resin
it is worth the cost tho, like arle with cons + weapon does so freaking well its ridiculous

I got lucky when I pulled his weapon, I've gotten 3 40CV dendro goblets since I've pulled him with one of them being perfect substats Double Crit ER, EM I got just the other day
My alhaitham build has 250 CV which is a lot granted the build I got on Is a 2pc/2pc combo with one of them being leftover wanderer's troupe pieces I don't use on anyone else atm

i think the best way to invest to Al would be Nahida first then Furina 2nd, if you wanna invest further then i'd say maybe Key of khaj nisut for Kuki but it's not as mandatory as say Nahida and Furina constellations,

The Alhaitham build used for reference in this video has is seriously lacking in elemental mastery. A few hundred more EM would hit much harder even it if meant missing 46.2% crit dmg. Alhaitham's kit scales hard on elemental mastery, even more so if you have his signature weapon. I feel bad for anyone watching this for genuine advice.

Too many particle effects, can't even see how many mirrors I have, sometimes don't even notice my dendro or electro app has fallen off. Skill issue I'm sure but I actually need to see what the enemy is doing on some of these abyss stages. Honestly prefer using Nahida as the driver in these sorts of teams, and she dies in about 1 hit on average.
Accident got him at 0 pity, right after I pulled on clorinde and got her I did a shits and giggles pull on his banner and got him too, I have no idea how to use him and I’m only at 33, I don’t even know who to use him with since I have like 7 4 stars or so😂

ngl i had this weird idea of playing around this very cheap alhaitham team with only kuki as the only gacha option of Al, Instructors Barbara(in case if i don't have furina or Yelan and if i need XQ for other teams), Kuki, DMC, and it still slaps. the most annoying thing about this team is Barbara's self application and DMC's restriction to circle impact. At Regular investment he might be the number 2-3 it's usually him or Arle i think Arle is slightly better or maybe equal, at the very High-High investment i think the fontaine dpses and possibly Xiao outshine him there.
He's easy to use but can be bit rough if you don't know what you're doing, sort of like childe. I've seen people say E then Q then do whatever with him as the best way to play him, and i got confused cause do these people even know how to play? i mean shouldn't the strat be just Q or E first and then save the E or Q for the next wave since it gives you 3 mirror?
however when it comes to boss scenarios I usually do the Q, E+Plunge combo or just do the E plunge or Q thing again.
i'm probably gonna pull him in my 2nd account, i know Furina is the better pull but most of my healers aren't built and i'm hoping for my luck to come through. i'm not planning on building Jean and i'm planning on using Bennett on chevreuse or Yelan National. Kuki and Yaoyao are for my Al so maybe if i'm lucky i'm hoping to run Furina with Al so i can run yelan national for the other side.
I like him so much I'll get C2 Nahida and Furina from their reruns for him
After a long time, I still don't have any copy of Kuki.
I got Raiden for my Nahida who is C2 because I like her a lot.
I got Furina with her C1 even if I didn't wanted any constellations on her.
I litteraly have everything for him except Kuki.
Well, I lost 2 50/50 on him.
I don't know if I try to get him again or just move on.
One more time, Kuki will not be on his banners for sure.
@@Camelia437 you could go Baizhu/Yaoyao+XQ/furina/Yelan and EM Raiden or play with Fischl(though with fischl i'll only reccomend for boss content as oz is not a good hyperbloom trigger.
@@Camelia437 i have a scary feeling that you're right as i think Fischl and Chevreuse would be in his banner and the 3rd one would most likely be Kaveh since it makes sense and his hasn't been on banner for a very long time. or maybe they could do the same thing as the Raiden Banner. i'm hoping for the latter to be true, but if not then uh oh.
al is an amazing choice so you're not going wrong here, dw
as for combos i will be making an al guide with a combos section so you can know what i personally find to be his best for what scenario :)
that cheap team can probably clear because that is just how busted al is with minimal cost

- yes, my personal fav alhaitham team for comfort is al/yelan or furina/em raiden/baizhu :)
- his best F2P option is harbringer of dawn, but iron sting may be more consistent if you can't stay above 90% HP on him. though you're using baizhu, so i'd say use hod (the weapon)
100% baizhu in a furina team is better then nahida, but in a yelan team hes only a minor downgrade
Really struggling deciding whether to pull Alhaitham or to pull Clorinde. I have almost all the Pyro main dpses and mainly use Keqing and Furina teams. On one hand, pulling Alhaitham will make my Nahida finally useful, but so will Clorinde since I'm probably going to run her in aggravate with Nahida and Beidou. Baizhu, Fischl and Kazuha are stuck being Keqing's retainers, and my Yelan is on the bench.
you could go Alhaitham/Furina/Kuki(If you have her)/Baizhu or Nahida and use her for the 2nd team with Keqing or Clorinde Aggravate with Kazuha and Fischl. though it depends on what characters you have.
I would pull alhaitham if you need a good solid DPS but personally I'm pulling chlorine cause have enough good units
At that point it really comes down to who's design you like better. Alhaithem and Clorinde are gonna be very similar in the sense that one focuses on spread while the other aggravates. I would say though that Clorinde has at least a bit more wiggle room with teams being an electro unit while Alhaithem has no choice but to be tied to the limited dendro reactions

alhaitham will be stronger than clorinde i am gonna be completely honest with you here; also you have keqing, & clorinde is just a big damage inc over kekw in aggro so imma say al if you're meta chasing/husbando chasing

Lyney’s best team is Bennett (who we all got for free in 4.0) and Xiangling (who we get for free through abyss).
Lyney also uses the MH set which is great for starting players who just want a way to get him going. and FINALLY Lyney has a great F2P bow with the song of stillness

Lyney is Frontloaded carry, you want to kill the enemies with 2 ca Q e e so yes he isn't f2p friendly and if you don't one shot the them you'll suffer Cuz he need to charge attack the rest

@@trickmonster7905 what make a character f2p is low investment, either resin or primogem wise. You could say skill issue but lyney needs good investment to function, his best team is Bennet xiangling kazuha, xiangling needs c4 and cons and Bennet are important too
And you have no room for defensive character without butchering your damage
Lyney is great carry, but not f2p friendly
@@mahdyamjad6213 you can use Dehya in place of Xiangling for interruption resistance and pyro application (C4 Yanfei with TTDS and shield bot, xinyan as a shield bot and hell even Amber can help taunt)
And kazuha can be replaced by sucrose or literally any VV holder, yes you won’t reach ceiling dmg but same can be said with alhaitham. If you don’t have X or Y then *DPS unit* won’t reach its full potential. You can do that with literally any unit. Lyney literally uses two 4 stars in his best team and ONE other 5 star that a LOT of people have at this point. (Kazuha)
The dodging part is only just a skill issue that can be overcome by replacing kazuha with zhongli or Dehya

Alhaitham has been a top DPS on my account since he arrived and I play worse than a chicken with its head cut off. c0 with weapon and he's been way deadlier since I got Nahida at c2. Is he built well? Um. I'm working on it. But thanks for the info, Juice! Gonna save my primos for c2 Furina, I have her at c1 now.
it's great how he has a low bar to entry since even then, he is still really good. unlike units such as tao or childe where damage is just not as good if you aren't good either
also, C2 with sig is a DEADLY combo!!! as for your build that's part of his beauty he can still clear even on worse artis, but he will be worth the upgrade!
good luck on your furina pulls, just a suggestion, try al/furi/kuki/nahida when you get that C2, the damage will be ABSURD
Bro you don’t have to lie, xq is better depending on your investment into your hyperbloom trigger and is better if you are doing HoD
quickbloom & hyperbloom are different thinks
quickbloom focuses on having just a few hyperblooms & more spreads, whereas hyperbloom only focuses on the dendro cores
you get less cores with yelan but higher damage overall
Xq and Yelan are both Great S tier characters bro, it doesn't matter

stritcly worse damage wise. and the gap goes even further when you have a well invested alhaithem. as you will be triggering more hyperblooms then spreads

Literally all characters are usable and can clear the Abyss, even this 7 million combined HP BS. Alhaitham can do a lot of damage, he's definitely A-S tier.

Already have Tighnari as a dendro dps but I absolutely hate the furry kid and would appreciate banishing him to the shadow realm in favor of this dude. On the other hand I also hate the eboy xinping or whatever his name is so Furina would be a good pull too.

Why would you hate Tighnari ;-; I also have him as dendro dps cuz i don't have al haitham yet. How bad is he compared to Al?
@@th0r0shvener52 Tighnari is still good and he can somewhat compete with Al in quicken pretty well in ST. But he kinda is overall worse since everything about him is ST and his dendro app isn't as fast so that's a thing to consider.
alhaitam is so bad he relyse on the strongest reaction to even work properly. without his dedicated carrier teammates hes super useless. if you're running around in open world and if yu wanna kill stuff nahh he cant do shiet. You have to start rotating your hyperbloom thing and have you all teams bursts ready 24/7 to make that guy kill a hilicrull.
one plunge from his E and hillichurls are dead wdym. Also he only really needs 1 electro application and his dps skyrockets already
