Xilonen is indeed an exceptional buffer. However it's not that she destroys Kazuha based on the uses in this video. It's that her constellations are considerably better. At C0 they are very similar in power level. In fact they are so similar that they are almost the same unit, with the major differences being geo vs anemo and healer vs grouper.
I think c6 Chevruse is in the same tier too and only weakness is limited to overload team but there are enough pyro and electro characters that she is such a powerhouse in element restricting modes like imagination theater when it’s pyro plus electro which happens fairly often

Idk if there's much crit fishing in these runs because alot of characters will need multiple hits. It's only realistic to be crit fishing with nuke characters e.g. Mualani
Her C2, C4, and C6 are all mid as damage-boosting for her personal DPS, which just goes to show how overtuned her base kit already is when she was designed back in early 2021
I'd say the baseline for a solid DPS now is either Alhaitham or Navia. Any character that's on the same level as Neuvillette, Arlecchino, and Mualani are OP. They are like top percentile for main DPS.
Honestly I would like to see if Dev put this 5m HP Capybara but with 4-5 of them running around trial ground and see which DPS is the fastest to clear them all. It will be better to determine overall performance, not just “single target high HP” scenario like this. Hopefully one day.
Reminder that Xilonen being better at buffing than Kazuha only applies for whales since Kazuha has dogshit vertical investment especially when compared to Xilonen's 💀
She does have better buffing than Kazuha at C0 though. I say this solely because she can shred geo while Kazuha can't. Otherwise, the increased dmg bonus he gives is so miniscule it isn't really worth considering most of the time. Especially considering the fact that most people use him with Fav Sword at C0 which often lessens his overall dmg bonus buff.
Hi IWTL, IMO, you did Xilonen a disservice by not immediately spamming plunges and saving Q for the end of the rotation. C6 Xilonen can last for 4 (or 5 in high hitlag scenarios) plunges, and the C6 dmg increase applies to collision as well if you can land it. Your N2Q opening lead to getting much less C6-buffed dmg instances off, resulting in a slower clear than what she is capable of. Great video outside of that!
There's this recent development of a Xilonen and Chiori core that I really wanna try, so I'm planning to save for a Chiori rerun after Citlali and Mavuika. It's looking to be a really solid core for any phec team.
As an Ayaka main, I'm so happy to see her perform so well despite being quite an ancient character. I absolutely love using her and it's great to see that she is still a really strong character even when there better ones already ^^
I love these videos, I can understand why they would be a real pain to make but in a perfect world, I'd love to see these every Abyss cycle just covering speedruns

The only thing that really holds Chiori back is, well, what has always held her back: the construct clause. Just not F2P/low-spender friendly, especially for newer players who will have plenty of characters they still want.

I'm trying to build a character and team in a way that it can survive the capybara charged attack and then healed quickly enough to not die. And i was thinking MAX HP Furina, max ATK qiqi, max HP Dehya, and Hydro fourth unit, preferably something like Barbara

There are many factors to consider: enemy HP, aggression level, whether the enemy moves around, survivability needs, whether it's AOE or single target, if it’s multi-wave, the distance between enemies, and so on. This specific enemy has a lot of HP, making it ideal for one-shot characters, so it’s no surprise that Arlecchino and Maulani are top choices here. If the boss had around 3 million HP, these rankings might change, as some quick-swap characters could deal enough damage to finish in one cycle. In AOE multi-wave scenarios, a Nilou team would likely be top choice, but in a setup like facing three Maguu Kenki, it might be in second place-unless each Kenki had around 5 million HP, where Nilou’s team could shine again. This highlights how much the scenario impacts rankings. When considering 'the best character overall,' we’d need to look at who consistently performs well across all scenarios. While there’s no character that ranks first in every situation, some, like Arlecchino, often make the top 5. Though she isn’t the best in multi-wave AOE due to her close-range DPS style, she’s still strong enough to be in the top. If I were to make a recommendation, I'd say that over the past four years, sub-DPS characters have shown to make the biggest difference-not main DPS or support characters. Sub-DPS is crucial, and we see this with Xilonen appearing in many team setups. Some teams even lack a dedicated support but always have a sub-DPS. Furina C6, for example, relies on sub-DPS for maximizing her damage, which is why she can outperform Xilonen in many cases. For an F2P team, I’d go with Hyperbloom Nahida at C0, which excels in nearly any situation. At C6, I’d recommend a Furina-Chiori sub-DPS team, as it’s versatile, effective in both single-target and multi-target fights with a good Hydro DPS, and performs well universally. I know this was a long explanation, but these factors show why one video alone can be misleading if players don’t understand the full range of possibilities in this game. As a Day One Genshin player, I’ve seen how different scenarios can lead to very different outcomes.
Wanted to see that Yelan speed run so bad but happy I got to see her name with the S-tier in the final results table. She also kinda did the most damage in that Chiori run IMO.
The thing that nobody is understanding is that C6 Furina is COMPLETELY different character from C0 Furina. Her C6 literally has no caviats. The HP loss, Healing, and Buff being almost Instantaneous without any other character - ALL of this she does herself with just 2 pokes of her Normal Attack. However, this is Nothing like her playstyle in C0. She's still great but stop overhyping her
The fact that she is this overpowered compared to other c6 speaks for itself. Damage, healing, buffing (no one is overhyping c6 furina). Btw the video is all c6, no need to talk about c0 furina, the others are also c6. She is HER.
Hu tao A 1.X character still eating most of the new dps characters, she might not be the best as she was before but she still more than good enough to carry endgame
I just tested my dps a few days ago and she is still suprisingly strong despite the age. Tho I am f2p so it can't compare to anything shown in this video. Either way it's all the more impressive that she holds up this well considering one of her best artifact sets (CW) doesn't even give the full buffs because if the stack mechanic, she has bad constellations by modern standards and in most of her best teams she can't make use of her passive talent (or atleast it's really difficult to activate). Yet here she is despite all those drawbacks still clearing things extremely fast.
Hu Tao's base kit is already incredibly strong for a character released in early 2021... if her constellations were updated to match today's power creep she’d be ridiculously broken again. Picture this: an updated C2 where she no longer needs to be under 50% HP to unlock that 33% Pyro damage boost and increased ult multiplier + her max HP could temporarily increase by 20% for 11 seconds every time her E is cast. For C4, how about making her normal and charged attacks ignore 80% of the enemy's DEF, but only while her Pyro infusion from E is active? And C6 is still all the same, but now granting a massive crit damage boost based on her max HP + increasing her 400 ATK cap to 600 + making the activation trigger more reliably at 60% HP instead of the usual 25%!
i mainly play raiden and i hope u did not get baited by xilonen for her because if the pyro archon happen to replace bennett the best team would be Raiden - Mauvika - Sara - chev with the overload change buff coming too.. if the pyro archon act like a bennett + xiangling, it will be better than xilonen
You should definitely do a part 2 to this with the rest of the characters and also some 4* showcases. Would be entertaining to watch 😮 great video nontheless.

There's was a whale speedrun for 10 milion HP boss for C6 characters , the top 10 teams literally all use furina and no.2 team was furina plunge DPS

For newer players: not only are these whale builds but they are all crit damage with very little crit rate (crit fishing). Also they have no ER.

While there’s no character that ranks first in every situation, some, like Arlecchino, often make the top 5. Though she isn’t the best in multi-wave AOE due to her close-range DPS style, she’s still strong enough to be in the top.
If I were to make a recommendation, I'd say that over the past four years, sub-DPS characters have shown to make the biggest difference-not main DPS or support characters. Sub-DPS is crucial, and we see this with Xilonen appearing in many team setups. Some teams even lack a dedicated support but always have a sub-DPS. Furina C6, for example, relies on sub-DPS for maximizing her damage, which is why she can outperform Xilonen in many cases.
For an F2P team, I’d go with Hyperbloom Nahida at C0, which excels in nearly any situation. At C6, I’d recommend a Furina-Chiori sub-DPS team, as it’s versatile, effective in both single-target and multi-target fights with a good Hydro DPS, and performs well universally.
I know this was a long explanation, but these factors show why one video alone can be misleading if players don’t understand the full range of possibilities in this game. As a Day One Genshin player, I’ve seen how different scenarios can lead to very different outcomes.
Wanted to see that Yelan speed run so bad but happy I got to see her name with the S-tier in the final results table. She also kinda did the most damage in that Chiori run IMO.

The thing that nobody is understanding is that C6 Furina is COMPLETELY different character from C0 Furina.
Her C6 literally has no caviats. The HP loss, Healing, and Buff being almost Instantaneous without any other character - ALL of this she does herself with just 2 pokes of her Normal Attack.
However, this is Nothing like her playstyle in C0. She's still great but stop overhyping her

Hu tao A 1.X character still eating most of the new dps characters, she might not be the best as she was before but she still more than good enough to carry endgame
This is vs 1 scenario which supposed to be her thing and that 1.x constellation doesn't do her good
I am so happy to have her. As F2P, she is the only C1 I have. She is also so fun to play with Xianyun.
I just tested my dps a few days ago and she is still suprisingly strong despite the age. Tho I am f2p so it can't compare to anything shown in this video.
Either way it's all the more impressive that she holds up this well considering one of her best artifact sets (CW) doesn't even give the full buffs because if the stack mechanic, she has bad constellations by modern standards and in most of her best teams she can't make use of her passive talent (or atleast it's really difficult to activate).
Yet here she is despite all those drawbacks still clearing things extremely fast.
Hu Tao's base kit is already incredibly strong for a character released in early 2021... if her constellations were updated to match today's power creep she’d be ridiculously broken again. Picture this: an updated C2 where she no longer needs to be under 50% HP to unlock that 33% Pyro damage boost and increased ult multiplier + her max HP could temporarily increase by 20% for 11 seconds every time her E is cast. For C4, how about making her normal and charged attacks ignore 80% of the enemy's DEF, but only while her Pyro infusion from E is active? And C6 is still all the same, but now granting a massive crit damage boost based on her max HP + increasing her 400 ATK cap to 600 + making the activation trigger more reliably at 60% HP instead of the usual 25%!

i mainly play raiden and i hope u did not get baited by xilonen for her because if the pyro archon happen to replace bennett the best team would be Raiden - Mauvika - Sara - chev
with the overload change buff coming too.. if the pyro archon act like a bennett + xiangling, it will be better than xilonen
